Ugh just ran into orc chieftains on my pally. How do you guys deal with these obscenities? They 2-shot my Pikemen and 3 or 4-shot me. Ugh. Seriously. I've tried several different comps and builds, and these things just destroy them all.
Try this: You must only one-hit each Orc, so he will be running after you all the time, so riflemen can keep shooting at him. And you also keep them away from the walls.
Thanks, I've tried the archers but the walls crumble too fast. Will try running better interference. This game has the worst and most frustratingly game-stopping difficulty spikes I've seen in a long while.
You don't need archers really. Summon riflemen, they do way more damage to orcs. Let us know if it worked
I just spent ten minutes kiting orcs, and it did work, yes. Thank you for the help. Still, who designed this level and thought that it would be fun? Or was it meant to be grueling?
I was stuck on that level for awhile too. Eventually used giants with my pike/cap combo and paladins invulnerability skill to beat it. Honestly I feel like archers and even riflemen are useless.
Yeah they do mostly seem useless since they're wasted money as soon as a wall falls. And now I'm stuck on Level 20. I'm an okay strategy gamer and a better tactical gamer, but this feels like banging my head into a great wall until I find the one crack in it that breaks it down, which is not my idea of fun. I think I'll stick to Bug Heroes for iPhone gaming. Thanks y'all for the help and advice and patience.
Yeah... I had to repeat a few stages due to icloud failing, and somehow during "replaying" i found the game just brutal, and some of the stages having only one type of strategy that works, and execution of that strategy isnt a happy moment either. Currently on mission 21 now... I hope i dont fold to the game's difficulty, as i havent had this much satisfaction in the game for a while.
Does anyone know if I upgrade a wooden wall but then purchase the stone wall does the stone wall get the HP boost from upgrading the wooden wall. That upgrade seems a waste if I'll be building a stone wall as soon as I can.
Destroy the catapults right away. Build strong walls and keep them standing. Spawn peons or other units if you have the money. I think there are only 4 or 5 catapults in that level. Shouldn't be that difficult. When you destroy the catapults, go and use the crackshot to kill all enemies which are attacking the wall. Go behind the walls to heal - repeat.
I now have a new strategy and works on all of the levels i played after mission 19. Knight with Legendary +100 starting Gold Rune Mine>Mine>Mine>wall upgrade>wait to 200, then summon 2xPike, then repair, then i go for either a mine, or go for captain>pike
Just got a +40 attack legendary rune from endless....lasted only 10 minutes. Also, I unfortunately crash even on endless...though at a later time than co-op. Maybe around the 8-14 minutes, versus sometimes like 4-5 minute mark in co-op. I've tried hard resets, and trying different setups to see if that affects the crashes. I honestly cant find a correlation between anything...the game just randomly crashes...good luck fixing this foursaken!
This is very difficult to make work...but maybe if you do a little kiting in between having the shield up.
