Last I checked it was around #10 paid game in the US Edit: #8 top grossing paid app in US. Well done!
Summary - whatever the exact position this has to be a massive commercial success for Foursaken ! .... .... = plenty of updates !
This game is definitely awesome on ALL levels! I can play it on my iPhone 4 without much slow down, the battles are epic and intense! The endless mode adds so much to the game too! Even when my game crashes 15 minutes in a battle, I can't help, but smile because the game is so addicting. Btw, I loved both of the bug heroes games, so if they're any indicator, updates galore! That being said, does Foursaken have an ETA on the update for the game?
I don't want to give an exact date for the update, but we've got all the content in. We've got versus mode up and running (so fun ), its just a matter of balancing and some more QA to make sure the update is as perfect as we can make it. We're also working hard to make sure there is no more data corruption, and are heavily investigating multiplayer in order to try and get it more stable. That being said, we're probably looking at submitting in a week or so... maybe sooner! As for the games' success... without getting into specific numbers, we're currently doing really, really well. Its really blown our minds actually - doesn't seem real NONE of us were expecting this game to do anywhere close to this well. But honestly, we're really more excited than anything else about the positive reactions here on TA, and the amazing iTunes ratings and reviews... While we obviously love Heroes and Castles, we didn't think that this type of mid/hard core game would be able to reach this big of an audience, especially since we're not a big time developer or using a publisher. More than anything else, the success of the game is just awesome because it means people are playing and loving the game! And yes, what it all boils down to is, big updates will be coming!

Thats what a Ballista turret is.... Also, are people finding that other Knight players tend to not build units in co-op? Haha, seems like they think they can get away with just brawning it up out there by themselves, going straight for 2 mines, and by that time you're overrun, or already hurting bad I need to re-level my Engineer up! The good old days when I had all level 30 heroes Now I almost wish we had a "pay to level up" IAP (don't worry, we won't add one)
Anybody have some general gameplay tips? Between repairing walls and spawning troops that get mowed down by orcs and trying to take out goblin bomb throwers, I've tried and failed level 11 about eight times with my knight, and I'm no closer to winning. I generally start with two mines before I dive into units. Is that bad?
I would like to be able to use up to 3 runes at once, I think that would be cool to mix and match in maybe 3 rune slots. I've tried crafting runes a few times but usually I get nothing better (sometimes not good at all) in comparison to what I've been using, that's a little disappointing sometimes. Just a suggestion. Loving the game!
Foursaken, suggestion to rework wording of inspire, as it says it decreases cost of units, which leads one to believe it only applies to units. Whereas it seems to apply to both units AND castle.
I'm down for a few games if anyone wants to play. Level 18 Knight. Gamecenter is dub.D.dub My stategy at first is I build the goldmine twice then charge out the gate and taunt the mobs away from the castle, this gives my partner time to build up some gold and start upgrading things. I'll usually let the mobs chase me in circles until I have enough for steel walls then build them, get a few huge hits in on the mob then run behind the gate and heal, while releasing a giant or two, then just kind of repeat until we're built up pretty good. I played with one person earlier that kept downgrading my steel walls to stone walls! I don't know if he didn't get the message that I built them or what but he did it twice! lol, wasted a lot of gold there. Lets play!
Are you sure you don't have a decrease building cost rune equipped? Inspire does only affect units... Hmmm, thats a bug. We'll make sure you can't downgrade in next update!
Thanks for the suggestion We do want to steer clear from making your hero too much of a super being though Imagine 3 legendary runes on a level 30 hero... he would be a wrecking ball! We've got some other ideas though
