No you can unlock them all threw regular play! Unlocking them provides a great incentive to keep playing! Just buy this dude it's worth it
I think I have to revamp my opinion. This is my favorite Foursaken game. Being on the battlefield, in the midst of the conflict as arrows fly past and cannonballs land beside you and everyone fights It's awesome
H&C's always been my favorite Foursaken game, and is easily one of the best iOS games for me. Im not even a fan of TD games, but the strategy angle it adds to how good a hack and slash action-RPG it already is made it one of the deepest and most enjoyable games for me. Monster Adventures is easily my second favorite from their library. Dungeon crawling, full customization, monster collections... Nuff said. Not a fan of Block Fortress, and I really think NY Zombies 2 is still one of the better FPS shooters on the appstore. For quite some time, i really liked Bug Heroes Quest, but with MZ out, i dont think i have a reason to go back to BHQ.
Update today woohoo! Bug fixes I was so excited, too... I thought of a great new game, though... Super Foursaken Bros. Melee! It would take all of the amazing, diverse characters from the Foursaken library, throw them together in an arena to duke it out... Upgrade and create your own Bros.... even have the four brothers as playable characters! HAHAHA! The Knight versus the NY Zombie guy versus a Emeralroc... I'd buy THAT for $1.99!!!
With all the great games on IOS, this is still my favorite, by far. Hope someday we get H&C 2. Thank you Foursaken for your support. Hoping for a reset leaderboard and possibly the ability to reallocate skill points before you stop releasing updates. Thanks!
One of the fruits of finally upgrading to an iPhone 5S is that I've rediscovered Heroes & Castles. Coop with a flatmate is a particular new hobby of mine, and thus I am curious about the exact ruleset of the coop mode. Basically, how do our character skills, Unit and Castle upgrades apply to buildings and units in game? Do our characters simply grant the benefits from their passives, actives and persistent upgrades to whatever units or buildings that partiular character produces in game (meaning that, for instance, I should be the fella to produce Blunderbusses if I happen to have upgraded them further)? Or do all units and buildings produced in matches, perhaps, simply adhere to the highest/lowest available persistent upgrade level of either participant? Some sort of mean or median value? Bugger all and complete and utter randomness?
Random bump for one of the most epic gaming experiences in my life, going back to Pet 2001 beeyotches. These guys need to make a PS4 sequel worthy of the gameplay. Heroes & Castles is a genre all by itself, there is no point in even comparing it to BlockFortress (and we ain't gonna go there 'neither, another MUST PLAY game). Ohhhh... The hours that I played this game...
it does basically use your unit upgrades. however a hero's passive aura boost will apply to the other players unit (such as the pally health regen). your buildings give allies the saem bonus as your units as well so if you have a full upged building it be better to make sure you build it.
We absolutely love Heroes & Castles, and I certainly won't say a sequel is out of the question There's still a LOT of potential to expand. Now, don't take this as official word of anything what-so-ever, but what would you guys most look forward to/want to see new/want to see changed IF a sequel were ever to be made?
*A *little* control over units.. like, click on them and tell them to go to so-and-so spot and a special ability (pikemen plant on ground and raise their pikes at charging enemies or something, I don't know... Riflemen Rocket ability where they pull out a rocket-propelled bomb or something... again, 1-2 simple special abilities *More than 2 maps. Limit units that can be used on certain maps since balance was one of the reasons you limited it, correct? *Castle vs Castle action... a mountain between them, a river you have to forge, etc... *A Dark side campaign... Bad guys have "Heroes" too *Loot... or a mode similar to Bug Heroes Campaign... bonus gold or a stronger sword for your hero or a larger, pointier hat for your wizards Randomized events that happen in maps like "go take out that Hero Ghoul and get +30 gold!" or something...
I want a proper Caster class. One that his default attack is a ranged magic attack. I believe I wrote a super long post for an idea of a "Sorceror" class. But yeah, that's the main thing I want.
Does anyone else have trouble with their screen flashing white? It happens every time I get a critical hit and I have to say it makes it really hard to see for a few seconds. Not sure if this is a glitch or intentional. If it is intentional it would be great if we could have a graphics option to turn it off. As for what I would like to see in a sequel I think it would be nice to have some control over graphical options. That way if the game is running slow you can disable some of the fancier options.
