We've got an update in already submitted that fixes a few sync errors - as well as optimizes a few multiplayer things. Should hit soon!
Does this apply to the mac version as well? BTW I love this game on the mac, what a difference coming the iPad 2 version. Good job! Makes me wish I became a game developer instead of a web developer
Hope it fixes the Dwarven Hut bug. I think somebody else asked this in the thread, but I can't find an answer: was rune quality and/or quantity of Endless mode nerfed? I have gotten in the 10-25 minute range about a dozen times, and have never gotten a legendary rune, and only one rare rune. Am I just unlucky? Or was the cheerleading about legendary runes from Endless a few hundred pages back responded to with the nerf bat?
whereas it used to be if you got the 20+ minute range you got a legendary guaranteed (a long time ago might i add, and at that time 50+ minutes was moderately common) it is was nerfed to be legendary ONLY come from crafting.
That's actually not quite true We actually did the opposite and buffed the chance to get a legendary when crafting (as opposed to nerfing the chance even more from beating stages and playing endless). Yep - should be at least.
Okay, I'm confused. So the chance of getting a legendary from Endless was nerfed, but the chance of getting one from crafting was buffed? Endless is fun, but I'm pretty sure it's an inferior way to get legendary runes. Almost all my runs have been over 8 minutes, and they total about 30. I've still only gotten one rare and zero legendaries. But level 1 is beatable in about 2 mins, and gains you about 1.25 crystals per run. So about every 5 minutes, you can do another craft. That's 12 crafts an hour, or 36 crystals. Somebody did a calculation at some point that on average, a legendary rune should cost about 14 crystals on average. Assuming that's correct, you should be able to get 2-3 legendary runes an hour, by futzing for a few seconds with your phone every 2 minutes (as paladin, start with +starting gold rune and either build 3-4 rifles or a Battle Academy and a 1-2 groups of peons). By contrast, I've put in about 4 hours of Endless runs, and have gotten zero legendaries. Anyway, I don't mean to complain. Just think it's interesting that, ignoring IAP, you're best off grinding lvl 1 mobs.
Well, not necessarily... the chance to get better Runes increase as you survive longer in endless. Around 15-20 minutes is where you really start to see an increase, if I remember correctly.
Oh, interesting. I guess I've just had bad luck, then. I had four runs in the last day that were over 15 minutes, and only one of them provided a rune...a common rune. Edit: I think that was a 16 min rune, but I didn't screenshot it. Anyway, it'd be great if the legendary rune rate from Endless / Coop was about the same as grinding lvl 1, but I understand that encouraging IAP is important too...
it be funny if you accidentally made it decrease with a coding mistake, the longer you live the less likely you are to get a good rune! on the other hand the less time your alive the less likely your are to get the rune in the first place, good or not!
The Barbarian skill "Warrior", it is Level 5 and should reduce damage by 90%. However, those armor piercing skeletons don't care. For example, they do 36 damage before and still 21 damage after skill activation. Is this a bug? (Barbarian has 0 armor)
I did four more runs yesterday between 15 and 20 minutes, and got zero runes. Funny might not be the word for it. I do love this game, but I have 22 legendary runes and every last one of them is from crafting (about half from grinding stage 1 and half from IAP)
After playing many co-ops since the last patch, I'm still seeing sync errors about 20% of the time, at random points during a match (was seeing about 50% with 3.0.3, so it's improved). Slowed down frame rate is still there for about half my matches, but still better than 3.0.3. Hoping the next update will make things even smoother!
Sorry to hijack your comment, Raginbird, but I was wondering if you had any Druid tips. I saw that you have a 40 druid. I'm having fun with the class, but his skills all seem gimmicky and I can't decide what to upgrade. Thanks for any thoughts you might have!
My Druid is almost maxed now, really fun to play, especially once you get him built up a bit. The special skills may seem gimmicky at first, but in my opinion, it is worth maxing out all of them. For the normal skills, it depends how you play...I didn't throw a ton into attack, but spent more points toward health, armor, and run so I could survive longer in the 30+ min co-op matches. In my experience, the Druid levels up fast, so it doesn't take long to get him built up.
for your versus rating it is, at low level the advantage the flower gives is exponentially stronger compared to the enemy hero.
Ah, okay, cool. Thanks! Any tips on which skills you would level up first, while going through the campaigns? I can't tell how useful the Elder plant and the Magic sapling are though. I'm trying a strat that uses maxed peons with Nature's Wrath. Doesn't seem terribly effective yet, but it's cute alright. Good point about longevity in Endless / co-op. That's my ultimate goal.
