I assume the worse the connection (the ping) between players, the choppier the gameplay, which sadly includes turning around and aiming. When this happens, the new in-game clock becomes very slow, as if the game is trying to adjust its speed to the connection.
I tested this one last time. Rifleman are not getting the range bonus supposed to be granted by the Hut, but are getting the damage bonus. Very excited about the mac version. Instabuy!
Thats correct... the netcode is actually very solid and we're having a difficult time replicating the poor conditions (I have experienced them in the current live version though, so I know they're real ) - seems to almost be random packet loss, which we unfortunately can't directly control or fix... but we have some theories and ideas that we'll be testing with in the next few updates which we hope will sort things out! Thanks for being patient guys... I know it may seem like a step back, but there were a TON of problems with the old network code (lots of disconnects, other players lagging a ton, etc) that made it really lackluster; the only "good" thing was that you as a player didn't feel the lag - instead the lag was apparent on the OTHER player, skipping around, running in place, etc. It was also unfairly skewed for the host player, while the non-host would often be totally screwed >_< Anyway, we hope to have an update out soon!
Glitch Hey I found a really big bug on Hinton solo. Everytime a gold mine is destroyed the gold increase stays the same and whn you rebuild the gold mine it goes up. I had my gold at +55 before I quit. Please fix this makes Hinton way too easy.
Bug? My games get out of sync everytime the three Battle Wagons appear, around 10 minutes Hinton co-op.
This isn't happening for me. Can you be more specific about the situation? You're talking about Endless mode, right?
Thanks! Found it - will be fixed in the next update! Excellent, thanks! Sync errors are sometimes hard to track down, so any clues like this help out a ton. We'll look into it and see about getting it fixed up for next update!
I'm not sure about this but it could be that repairing the wooden wall during the first 1-2 minutes of the game often leads to a sync error. Maybe other players can confirm this? Edit: Hinton co-op
Six months later-than-useful maybe, but here's a few thoughts on hopefully simple future inclusions: 1) Stage recap screen: Total gold accrued on that stage This would be handy to see, to help the player optimize when and how many mines to build / what rune to use 2) Hero's damage numbers are a different color Sometimes unclear which damage is yours, and would be helpful to know 3) Level recap screen AND pause screen: current stage I'm surprised you can't see what stage you're on, or just beat. Often I go back through old stages and mess around with strats, only to forget afterward what stage I was just on. 4) Bonus gem for perfect run I always like getting a gravy reward for perfecting a level. Maybe starting at level 10, you get +1 gem if you lose neither buildings nor units
losing no units is easy, dont build any units. most levels the only way youre going to no lose anything is if you save all your gold and get it all at once.
It is and it isn't. When you're level ≤10 and most need crystals, you lose units all the time. When you're playing stages 19+, you lose units frequently, at least with a character ≤30ish. Add in not losing buildings and I think it's worth +1 crystals. But you could easily add as requirements: lose no HP and/or repair no walls.

it shouldnt be "perfect" runs. it should be like golf, a "par" for every level. meet or do better than the par for +1, if you get a PERFECT then it should be +2
Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but on my iPad 3 the units do not all appear in the box at the same time (see attached pic), only three rows do, so you have to scroll over for Longbeards. Not a big deal, but it would help if fixed. This only happens with units, not buildings. Thanks!
Foursaken! Heroes & Castles/Block Fortress II.... You all need to do a genre mashup of your genre mashups... Blocks & Castles or Heroes' Fortress Have the worlds of both games collide. A castle/fortress-building tower defense/base building sim with a mix of heroes/soldiers and monsters action and resource balancing, etc. etc.... It wold be a pretty epic sequel!!!!
