I Was in a hurry. I have both bug heroes games, block fortress, nyz2 and heroes and castles. Last time I type at work hehe
Apologies if this has been posted, but the game just unlocked nearly everythign for me and I'm not sure if that's what's supposed to happen. I got to campaign level 8 or 9 with the Paladin, and have a level 6 Knight. I tried a game of Evil mode (Siege, I guess it's called?), lost, then started a game with the Engineer. When I did, the game showed me about 10-15 unlock messages, and when the game began (level 1), I had access to all buildings, and nearly all of the units. Is this normal? I feel like I just accidentally jumped to end game content, without actually earning it. It's a great game, and it's somewhat disappointing that I have hardly any unlocks left to look forward to. One of the unlocks was the Assassin, though I did not manually unlock it. Is this normal? Or a bug of some sort?
I think the assassin is one of the characters you get for free, so you don't have to unlock it with crystals.
It wasn't when I first loaded the game. It was behind a 25 crystal price. Then it just unlocked with all the other stuff.
Paid version. At least, I think so. I'm pretty sure I bought it the day it came out, but only recently started playing. And by the way: it's a wonderful game! This is on an non-jailbroken (regular IOS, up to date) iPhone 5, latest version of the app. I take it that having all that stuff unlock at once is not expected behavior? Edit: I believe it was a 35 crystal unlock for the assassin. The rest of the locked classes are still locked, incidentally. Also, I started playing on the iPad, then enabled iCloud and switch to iPhone, but that was all several days before the above unlock-ageddon occurred.
You may be right. Now that I think about it, I think it was the Barbarian that was free, but the assassin had to be bought with crystals.
Hm. Odd. The Barbarian isn't free for me (current, paid version of app). On another note: is there any sort of consensus on which heroes are most useful in multiplayer coop? Or best at versus? Still kicking myself for only now getting into this terrific game...even if it did bug out and unlock everything; still super fun.
I think engineer is the best for coop especially with my -20, -8% building cost. As for versus, I don't know. I think the assassin was free and the others were locked by crystals.
Okay, I unlocked him and...I'm totally confused. Do you have to compensate for gravity, or something? The targeting reticule doesn't turn red? I can't tell if I'm going to hit something beforehand? Sorry for the newbish questions...
It doesn't turn red. Your shots arc so you have to aim them right. Then after you fire your arrow will have a trail to where it'll go.
its set to be realistic, arrows START straight but will start to fall quickly at a moderate pace, its really not hard you just have to adjust. once you get practice you will be firing long range completely accurately and accounting for secondary targets from your tri-shot. i have a tendency to line up secondary targets fairly easily or automatically at times.
Long time lurker here, but just wanted to chime in my 2 cents. First off, I love the game and captures the epicness you see in those huge battles in the movies. First one comes to mind is the 2nd LOTR movie. Even down to the scene with suicide orc bomber blowing down the wall. Anyways the game is by no means easy and enjoy the leveling aspect to proceed, although I'm currently getting destroyed at level 19. Always had a tough time getting the prime units and buildings. It definitely became significantly easier once I plunkered down some crystals and got a +100gold/ +1hp/s rune. Getting mines up and running to +4 from the start helped immensely. Bottom line is if you're having tough time, force yourself to spend some of those crystals on a rune; it was well worth it. Worst case you can sell it if you get a dud.
