It would be awesome if H&C 2 featured a multiplayer co-op campaign. Not sure how to balance that though.
i m enjoying the game so far, just decided to grab it now. seem abit late though i m having a blast with my knight, but i'd like a change. any suggestion for new hero?
Ranger is nice, but sucks on the corte map cause of the hills and lack of full camera turning (the angles are limited) personally i like assassin. The most OP character for siege mode is a lv 2 druid with one point into the flower thing.
Also, what property of rune should i look for? And, fyi, just bragging here, i stumbled upon a Lion rune of lion: which give ... 55 dmg. OMG, my knight is a beast out there
But to answer your question there is only one answer to your question. My times on both maps speak for themselves. Main thing that players overlook is that they look at their hero like he alone is fighting to protect the king. Knight, pally and vet are the only heroes worth talking about in my opinion. But the paladin is head and shoulders the best. Also because the knight and vet are their most effective when paired with a paladin. coop is a team effort. The pally give cheap units. Healing ability and damage multiplier. No other hero affects the whole battle field like the paladin.

Maps I was just noticing that most players are playing Hinton over Corte. And I was just wondering why? I find Corte much more fun. But just was wondering what someone else's opinion was. Thanx
I'm probably thinking its because a lot of players legitimately cannot beat Hinton Oh, and we've got another update rolling out soon. We've completely revamped multiplayer code. We've done a ton of testing and we've really gotten it to be incredibly smooth even in the worst of network connections... Also a few other fixes: Heroes must complete all 30 Stages on Hinton before playing coop on Corte Fixed enemies coming through the back of Corte Fixed heroes going underneath the ground from some abilities on Corte Fixed Dwarven Tank movement
Don't forget the Mac version should be coming out any day (I've been checking everyday since you mentioned it on twitter)
By now you've probably got most of the runes worth having. They nerfed the good stuff, seemingly. Like just about every other feature. Every rune I have that's worth bothering with came months ago. Lately, nothing worth keeping.
Hinton is more linear and less annoying. Corte leaves a lot to be desired, since in Corte endless even very good players are dead in 2-3 minutes. Which is kind of an over-nerf or over-strengthening of enemy attacks. A bit much muscle there, Foresaken.
