There needs to be a level restriction on Corte Coop. No under 10's at least. It's hard enough to get a game and then you are playing with a level 5- why bother?
I really just don't like the layout of Corte at all. My Ranger is crippled in too many ways to count, and having 'around back' corners on both sides where units can wreck your stuff from the bottom of a very high cliff sucks. With all the time and testing and feedback they had, I am surprised that these devs gave us a new area that feels very broken to me.
armor past 10 is worthless, however some heroes get armor by leveling, the pally will end with 9 amrmor at 99 so drop one into his, i dont know the other unit values tho. but yea put 10 right into assassin/ranger first thing after you do skills.
Um, why is more than 10 armour a waste? Is there some formula I have missed? Jesus, I have POURED points into armour on my Mage, if that was all for nothing give us the damned 500 crystal respec potion already.
10 armor makes you immune to knock backs. Every point spent after that is -1 damage. So I guess it's preference...
"With 10 armor you are immune to knock backs"... Oh yes? So why those annoying spiders can knock back my knight with 30 armor?
And i really can't understand the complains against the barbarian, while the druid is the one who run like an old man and fights like a little girl... His attack animation bashing the tip of the staff on the ground makes him 50% worst at least.
At least his attacks are consistent. No one wants to chase after people all the time, and guess if they'll knock them down or not. Coughknightbarbariancough.
If you are using the Druid properly he barely has to do any of the fighting. His knockback attacks are great for knocking enemies into the jaws of carnivorous plants or wolves-the best special unit. He's designed as a unit support character. The Barbarian though has no unit buff, an expensive and slow special unit, and dies easily in normal melee combat.
Really? Why? The mage has tons of health and regenerative abilities. I actually don't know what to put point in for him, I just wish the magic damaged scaled with leveling like it would do in any other game.
Any ideas on how to do level 5 Corte as a lvl 32 ranger? filled with mummies and ghouls? I've tried half a dozen different strategies Build up walls+ fire arrows. doesn't work, once i run out of fire arrows a new horde fills up the walls and it's lights out. Pikemen, to expensive and slow, the wall falls down while i build them(with a legendary +gold -unit cost rune) Blunderbuses- knockback ghouls but not mummies and get killed. Kiting- there are tons of running mummies and ghouls spawning from every direction, and often times the mummies don't follow me and go for the walls anyways. And finally kiting+treeman. Almost worked and then a running mummy clubbed me in the head.
I know he is a unit support char, but i'm really having trouble using him against wraths and running mummies at the beginning of the stage with few or no units to actually give support. To be even worst his 2nd normal attack animation is awful, IMO. My carnivorous plants skill is maxed out but a shorter cooldown wouldn't be bad, IMO. Sometimes it takes only one hit from some mobs to be killed. I've ended corte with all my heroes (except the druid stuck in hinton 21 yet) and only seriously used the clockworkD of all the special units, so i don't see it as a fault yet.
Because health is capped at 1500 in game for its ability to max health so can't put points on health and attack isn't used much because you use the spells most the time and its easy to solo any hard hitting enemy without a problem
This is why you are having a hard time. The wolves are the key to most levels with the druid. A team or two + the little tree men ability should be enough most levels. Just use the frost wizards for wraiths. Exploding peons work great against wraiths to. Yeah the carnivorous plant isn't much use against big hitters. Sometimes if like the level has only orcs, i just plant them inside the wall so at least it still gives off a damage bonus.
