Thanks for the response but were the blunders really that over powered that it would make coop that much harder? I admit we used blunders pre patch but after some time they would get overran. This last coop we literally were overran 3 or 4 minutes in with my 55 pally and my sons 20 something ranger. We literally could not keep mobs off the walls almost from the get go. Also seemed the trolls came out earlier. Not sure. Wish I had not updated.
Endless is better now In my opinion, the endless on Hinton is much better since the recent patch (both single and co-op). Prior to the patch, my level 40 Druid in single player could make it an hour easily. Once I got all my units/buildings/towers built, I could leave the game unattended for 10 minutes at a time....no fun in that. To me, the fun is in leveling up your hero/buildings/towers/units, until your strong enough to get by a tough stage (or last longer in endless). Foursaken is much more accessible than any other IOS developer I've seen, but as with any developer, they are not going to be able to make everyone happy. IMO, this is the best game on IOS, I play this more than most of my console games. Keep it up Foursaken!
Absolutely loving this, so utterly time consuming. @foursaken : the lo graphics worked a treat, I've played dozens of games online, only one crash. Thank you. What is grinding my gears however, is playing auto match via GC. Some ass hats quit the moment they see I'm level 20 or whatever. So, just wanted to invite some TA regulars to add me as I play online quite often now. My GC id is "Daftbomb". Only got a level 33 ranger and a paladin, assassin and engineer at 25, but I'll do my best.
Yes they were that OPed they could deal 699 AoE damage with a .05 second cooldown. Trust me... They weren't OPed, they were game breaking. Besides, we didn't even nerf them, all we did was fix a bug As for Hinton endless, again, hasn't changed. But like I said when I get back Ill do some more looking into balance. Oh and one thing about Barbarian.... You guys do know that Hardened Warrior when maxed gives a 90% damage reduction bonus right? This is a staple ability that allows him to survive on the fringe of death, while reaping all of the benefits of his risk reward damage bonuses...
THIS +1. Also, when you use the ability that makes you gain +1 for damage when you take X amount of damage first, then Hardened Warrior, it is an instant upgrade to damage... I LOVE the Barbarian. He really does devastate. I wish he was faster... I do say that. Like 300
Play Hinton on endless mode, and then play it on co-op. Co-op is insane now. (Hinton is also my home town of 10 000 people ) How's the Mac version coming a long? I can't wait to play with a mouse and keyboard!!!
but it takes 35% of our current hp, so if we are LOW on health then 90% wont eve make a difference we will die quickly and if we use it high on health it will eat more hp than enemies do so it can still be a LOSE-LOSE situation you need to look into berzerk, it doesnt give damage every 25 hp its more like 40-45 i sat around and let enemies hit me counting the hits, after a 19 and 17 i had no popup then after another 17 i got a "+1 damage" then 3 hits later another +1 so the damage isnt coded properly and i would bet that if an enemy hit say 100, we would still only get +1 damage.
Actually I do think something changed in Coop Hinton- I think there are a lot more mummies or something.
YES Damage is still damage though. People like Knight, and Assassin don't even need to be hit to be effective. Knight can just make a massive kite string with Taunt, and not even be hit, unless there are running units. The other thing I dislike about Barbarian is lack of active skills. They're all damage steroids. And I think his third passive gives him knockback chance. I don't know, but not having knock-back with Barbarian seems better. That way, you can just hack and slash the hell out of anything in your way, without having to chase them. I like Barbarian, because his attacks are fluid. He looks much less robotic than all the other Heroes, and he has more attack animations. Plus, his passive where the more he hits, the more damage he does, is really fun to try and stack a lot. I really like that passive.
Levelling Has levelling / experience gained been changed? I know this is a high level hero, but I just took my level 80+ CV through the entire Corte caimpaign, some stages multiple times, and only gained a single level in total. My mage of a similar level was the same. It never used to take this long. And yeah, Hinton endless seems much harder now, even with the new units and extra levels of upgrades to buildings. Still a great game though.
Bug report On Corte, I've occasionally noticed that I'm losing buildings for no apparent reason and then wander behind my walls to find an enemy unit back there slashing away. I've since watched enemies walk up the hill and straight through the rocks on the left hand side (looking towards the castle) where the sand is built up against the wall. They go through the rock straight into the castle, going around the side of the wall, and start knocking my buildings around. It's happened with trolls, juggernauts and those mummies with the huge hammers, but I haven't noticed it with smaller units.
I've had that happen. I thought maybe I didn't notice a sieger or one of my wall went down momentarily, but looking back I'm pretty sure they were climbing over the wall.
Skill Point Allocation After maxing out all the skills that you want. Is it a good idea to max out critical before adding points to damage orjust put all the remaining point in damage?
That ALL depends on what kind of rune you want to run. Slowly beef up crit until you are sure you aren't ever going to be overkill on that with a rune. Damage is always good, and as painful as it is pour a few points into run no matter who you are playing, and armour as well of course. The crits on some characters seem to backfire in some ways, too. Knockback is one example. Obviously damage is everything, as long as you can survive. I really hate becoming dependant on a +2HP rune because it means giving up a nice boost of either damage or crit.
It depends on the type of your hero. Some heroes hit 100% critical before they reach level 99 without having to allocate any stat points. In general, the best you can do is to push damage. But for example the dwarf needs stat points if you want to get 100% crit. Just don't invest in armor, it's not worth it. That's the big mistake I made with my first hero, the knight, which renders him useless forever. Until we get our stat reset feature, that is. Of course Assassin and Ranger should get 10 armor.
