Anyone that's using the assassin what's the best way to deal with the goblin sniper teams? Having a hard time with them
run out there and kill them. If nothing else the assassin is a marathon hobbyist in his spare time, I even have a few more points into run and your juke doesn't hurt either.
Counter strike is awesome. It doesn't work with orc chieftans, and only allows you to counter his first hit. I can counter all the attacks on every unit except the 2h unit. It's pretty hard getting that. When the enemy is mid swing you hit counter strike.
Iron helm - unlocked after stage 37 Hunter - unlocked after stage 40 ... What is "stage 37"? There are only 30 stages in the first campaign so I assume it means 7th stage of second campaign? But I'm on stage 9 of the second campaign and still didn't unlock it yet...?
Fine, at least one second. It's pretty easy to land. It runs out, when the icon isn't green anymore. Bug Heroes had smilar moves. XD easy stuff yo.
Sometimes it does. It's just a small error in timing code, making it go away within 17 ticks rather than 21. A bit weird, but whatever.
Yeah, counter strike is useless against orc chiefs, i can rarely even block the first attack and since he's guaranteed to survive it's pretty much useless. Works great against everything else though. Assassinate+invisibility+backstab is the only way of dealing with them 1 on 1 that I know of.
On the iPad you have to reach to the other side of the screen from where the attack button is. That's my major complaint with it. Often times i don't reach up fast enough or accidently teleport.
Yep, I've decided the barbarian is my least favorite character. A hero that easy to kill should have unit buff and more run, or more health. Even the ranger can buff archers, (I found elven arrows occasionally useful even though everyone hates it). As it is now, I die all the time, way more than I die with the assassin. And when the assassin dies, it's actually just an escape, so i don't have to start the level again. Maybe i'll come around to it like i did with the archer somewhat.
The Barb is kinda frustrating to play, he is a) treacherously slow, with almost no 'run'. You get caught in a mess and lumber away getting bashed by several units at once. b) has zero armour. None. Any points you put into armour screw up the skill where you take damage to increase damage. c) the two skills where you spend health to increase damage result in a pittance of a difference in actual output - NOTHING like what backstab does for the assassin. d) the AOE buff is a nice idea, but if you are caught in a mob you may do a few really nice whacks but you are almost certainly going to die from one guy behind you hitting you twice. e) his damage should scale up with leveling, and for that matter it doesn't look like ANYTHING is scaling up with leveling. huh? Very annoying char to deal with a steady stream of snipers, you end up over-relying on units to mess around on the wall while you plod to the other end of the map to deal with the crap down there. The over reliance on units means your xp gain is painfully slow. I dunno, maybe I am missing something, but the Barbarian should just be BLASTING units to pieces, and be a tank right from the get go. Instead it feels like I will be forced to muddy up my stats trying to make up for a laundry list of deficiencies. The assassin can't take a serious beating, but in the meantime you can slash through crowds at the wall way faster and zip back and forth to end field faster than anything else in the game.
I'll have to agree with you, I find that I spend most of the game trying to get the most out of the barbarian's skills and abilities by risking death and taking hits with little benefit to how easy I can get killed from living on the edge. To me it just doesn't seem worth the hassle because you aren't much of a threat if you can get killed from one hit. I think the one that the barbarian is ment to live up to is a veteran but sadly the barbarian doesn't even come close. Hopefully it will get balanced up to be a bit more of a barbarian
Wow FOURSAKEN, you guys really nerfed coop and i assume endless on hinton with this last update. My son and I barely last 8 minutes now when we were doing 20 minutes before working hard. Please undo whatever you just did as I find this game really more frustrating now than fun which is a pity as this was easily my favorite game on ios. All the units now are basically worthless and we couldn't even muster the 400 for the tank which I am guessing sucks now too. We were basically overrun from the start and spent the final 6 minutes hiding behind the walls.
Yep, there comes a point where the attempt to balance a game actually makes it less enjoyable to play. I won't be applying the latest update, as I think the game is challenging enough already. Foresaken is making the mistake of taking player achievements and rendering them worthless by elimating the chance to survive beyond a few minutes (for most players at least). It's still a fun game on the previous version, where I will be staying.
Wanted to chime in on this. One, Foursaken guy who posts here regularly is on a vacation or something for 3 weeks. Probably why he hasn't taken time out of his trip to comment. Secondly, I have never seen that in my game. Mine says "Unlocked after Stage 11 on Corte" for the Frost Wizard, for example. Are you playing with the most recent version/unhacked version of the game? I have never seen anything like that. Finally, the new units are rewards for playing through Corte... why should they be unlocked at the beginning? I used crystals to get them by grinding and don't see a problem... guess that's why it is an option. You can play through the new campaign, you can grind to get crystals or you can send $0.99 to the developer to help support their $1.99 game. To each his own, I guess.
Only have Internet for a bit so probably won't be able to respond again for another few days (overseas). Anyway, co-op wasn't touched... Not sure where some are getting this from. I've seen a bunch of people seeming to think that we're like over-balancing things when we're really barely touching anything. Only thing major in last update was fixing the tank and blunderbuss from being OPed. No joke, but we've actually gotten hate mail about fixing those units I understand some people may have been using those units to artificially survive much longer than they should, but it was a bug. Not sure if that applies to you or not, but nothing else was really changed so I'm not sure what else it could be. But, Ill look over it when I can. Will also investigate Barbarian. And sorry for the lack of other responses - have limited time to post! I've read them all though, and we'll check everything out when I get back.
