    Try kill those flag barriers as soon as possible, as they each give boost to skeleton warriors.

    Yeah, I've been running down to the beach at the start, but in the meantime the castle is getting swarmed... with all the skeleton captains even steel walls get overrun very quickly, and if i spend my early gold on good units or towers instead the walls fall even sooner...

    Unlock the dwarven tank, upgrade it, build a fully upgraded forge. Set device down, go make a glass of tea, come back to find victory screen

    So, I just noticed a very similar character design between the two games last night..

    I keep expecting the Frost Wizard in H&C to yell out "Alakazaam!" and cast a magic spell from his book :)

    It's not just character design, much of the meta game design of H&C is cribbed from BH. This is a good thing in my book.

    Foursaken, I double checked a couple of things:

    1) Longbeards DO buff blunderbusses. Their damage increases and they gain an aura. They are therefore buffed further by Captain Huts. Damage DOES increase.

    2) Tanks are rediculously broken in combination with a Forge.

    3) The first endless functions as intended with all classes if no access is granted to the new units. Buffing classes and tanking classes all have a hard but not impossible time getting past the 20 minute mark when there are no Hunters to snipe anything ranged, Frost Wizards to take out all wraiths and Tanks to obliterate 4 Trolls and 2 Catapults in 3 seconds. THIS IS THE APPROPRIATE FIX. DO NOT REBALANCE CLASSES. Think about future content--rather than rebalancing every time you make new units and campaigns, simply limit unit access to the campaigns that aren't old content.

    Huh? We're not rebalancing much of anything for the next update (just a few things here and there -> there IS a real problem with lots of stacking multipliers for ex). The Tank + Forge is actually a bug... the Forge buffs its RoF to like .05 seconds, which is why it can kill anything in like a second. Will be fixed in next update. Tank may actually very well be underwhelming as its actually intended to be (non-bugged, that is), for its cost... so we're going to keep an eye out for that.

    Longbeards buffing Blunderbusses isn't a bug per se... as the description does say "ranged" units... but it wasn't ever intended to buff them. Its now been changed to buff only "wall units."

    As for new content in the old campaign... we're fine with it if it makes things easier. If elite players want to go back and play the easier 1st endless mode, fine by me... I personally like to stick to Corte because it gives me a challenge. The main issues with the new units are some bugs and balance issues... which again, will be fixed up with this next update.

    Wtf... necromancers kill your hero in like 2 shots. Was going through the level fine then boom, 3 necromancers popped out and killed my hero in like 2 seconds. That is WAY too overpowered. AND their attack is ranged, meaning it's almost impossible to dodge for melee characters. AND they have some kind of protective shield that makes them invincible for a time. o_O

    Lol. That's what happens. They are not OP. You just have to be cautious is all. They are pretty weak. So if they do come, retreat in youe castle then come back out again to kill 'em.

    Perhaps you could look at some re balancing? Archers almost always miss mobs that are not snared, and they almost always miss when the mobs are at the wall.

    Ranged Heroes cannot aim high/low enough on the map on that annoying hill on the right side of the castle.. when you leave the castle.

    Any word on a another ranged hero? I was hoping the druid would've been a ranged hero :(

    Any tips on killing the level where the "orc chief" first appears? His attack pretty much one-hit-KOs any unit 180 degrees around him, so peasants/pikemen are completely useless. Archers always miss so they're useless too, and even if they don't miss they do like no damage anyways. I can't afford a team of dwarf shooters as all my money is going into repairing and upgrading the walls due to a HUGE swarm of skeletons that appear with the orc chief. So many skeletons appear that they destroyed my steel wall, which is the highest level wall I believe, in like 5 seconds... :eek:
    The only use the hero has is killing the skeletons, as going anywhere near the orc chief = instant death (I don't remember if orc chief kills hero in 1 or 2 hits, probably 1 hit gets him down to about 1/4 health).

    If you got Engy, with 4 mortar towers, a couple cats and a forge, those Necros aren't much trouble.

    Hey Foursaken, 2 things:
    1) awesome game, absolutely the best one on App Store right now
    2) can you guys take a look at the barbarian? It seems to me like his atk buffs aren't stacking like they should.

    Looking forward to your next game, keep up the excellent work!

    If you're an archer, just wait till the skeletons are hitting the wall. Bam fire arrow they are all dead.

    Heroes and Castles OSX version nearing completion ;) Will be able to transfer your mobile data to the Mac Version, and multiplayer will be cross-platform. It feels pretty sweet to be playing full screen with a mouse and keyboard, I must admit.

    We'll check it out... but pretty sure its working. He gets to pretty insane damage levels with all his stuff kicking in at once.
