I played one co-op game, took about 2 minutes to connect to someone. Things got hectic pretty quickly, though - I like it! GC - BrushMyNoseOff Trying out different characters playing the new campaign. Tons of stuff there, feels like a new game at the moment. Wish the new map had some new music, though.
New map (beach) looks sweet. Trying out new heros now. Lots to explore and not enough time. Thanks FM.
These new heroes click to my play style. The druids pack wolves are pretty bad ass. The Assassins' trainees are just kicking ass and the Barbarian alone just wrecks shop. Of course, now with this hilly landscape and 270 degree range, my Ranger actually has to move. THIS GAME IS MORE BEAUTIFUL FOURSAKEN. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME It's not that, I just turned off my notifications
Don't forget the new units either... most of them were added specifically to deal with gaps in the current unit list... both Wizard types will target Wraiths first whenever in range for ex, and Hunters are finally a unit that can effectively take out Catapults, Longbows, and other long ranged threats. Of course, we've purposefully made them pretty weak so that you have to either watch over them, have a strong wall defense, or lots of meat shield units like Peons... Also don't underestimate Iron Helms - they are VERY tough once upgraded a few times!
I am loving these new classes. I can't pick a favourite, but plan to complete the 2 campaigns with these new classes, but not before finishing the second campaign with my badass Ranger. Following that, I'll beat both campaigns starting with Assassin, then Druid, then Barbarian. After that, I got to try Endless on Hinton with the new units, THEN play the second campaign endless. So much to do, it's amazing. Oh and after that, CO-OPP
Thanks for the update! Too bad I just see it now..but gotta to to sleep... Can't wait till I get off work tomorrow. ;-)
