Yes, purely cosmetic. And as far as crafting legendary runes - keep at it! They are supposed to be rare.
That unit is usually you. Let your troops handle the wall so you can focus on archers and those evil, highly annoying grenadiers.
save up crystals and unlock the ranger hero, he can hit anything from anywhere and he has Super high damage late game
The Hunter unit coming in the next update does just that Targets the furthest range targets first, does great damage, but is very feeble, so you must protect them or shield them with expendable units like Peons. But yeah, as things go right now, your hero should be the one going out there to destroy catapults. Use Retribution with Paladin to buy you enough time to kill them, and make sure your wall defenses are strong enough to allow you actually go out into the field.
Yeah the Ranger does that. I dunno if you'll be accustomed to his play style. He's probably the do it all kind of character.
Question regarding the free vs paid version - I grabbed the free one to give it a try (haven't gotten a chance yet); if I really enjoy it and buy the full one, is my progress from the free version saved/transferred, or are they essentially two entirely different games in that regard?
Nope, you can hold as many as you want. Progress unfortunately cannot transfer over between 2 different games without using our own servers (we're using iCloud) :/ The free version is set up so that you will spend more or less the same as the paid version though... but the paid does admittedly have a few extra perks (next update will give them a free hero, which will otherwise be paid in the free version, for ex).
Where should I put my skill points into for my level 39 knight Health 620 Damage 76 Armor 10 Run 7.7 Crit 12% And I aleady maxed out all the skills I hope the new campaign gives runes that are better then uncommon since the only rune I got that is better then uncommon is 1 rare that I got form crafting
We're about ~80% done. Hoping I can finish balancing up in another week or so! Don't hold me to that... but its getting very close. Do you have any more details on this? Is it just starting off, or mid-game? Does it happen "frequently" as in, consistently, or like, 3/4 games? Thanks.
I love tower defense and third person action and Foursaken is a top-notch dev. Have two questions though: - Does on-foot combat improve? Upgrades or new moves? From playing the lite version, it seems you just do the same attack ad nauseam - How strategic/tactical does the game get? One thing I love about defense games is setting up offenses in tactic spots and planning. From what I've played so far in the lite version, I can send guys out or set up archers. I've read you can set up siege towers and mine shafts. Is that it? Can you place offenses/defenses on the actual battlefield? Thanks
Usually it will crash after 5 minutes but sometimes it crashes <10 seconds. By the way, multiplayer mode runs perfectly fine.
The on-foot combat attacks are mostly repetitive, but that's why you have the active abilities. You won't get very far by running around constantly hammering the attack button. Strategy and planning is very important when thinking about your defences. Each level will have differing groups of enemies requiring different strategies. For example when faced by large numbers of smaller enemies, you'll want a large spread of damage such as blunderbuss', when faced by larger enemies such as trolls, you'll need really focused high damage, such as ballista towers and giants. Balancing your choice of defences is key, you can play the same level over and over trying to strike the right balance. Just experiment!
