Was going to buy but saw that it had IAP so before I do buy do I have to buy anything from the IAP or can I get along just fine without having to buy the crystals or what ever ingame.?
There is no need for IAP. You will be fine without it. I've bought a few crystal packs just to craft runes.
Hi everyone, arriving a bit late to the party after I finally cleared enough room to install the game. I'm a complete and utter noob, and am getting my ass handed down to me in campaign level 3. Any tips? Thanks!
I have some news regarding the upcoming update, mostly a bunch of skill names (EVERY skill im about to name has its own icon in the game files) Assassin: Assassinate, backstab, escape, Juke, shadow, Blinding light Barabrian: Berzerk, bloodlust, Fury, Grit, Hardened warrior, Rage Druid: wildgrowth, eldarplant, Nature essence, nature's wrath, regrowth, sapling i guessed as to which skill belongs to who but i think they are pretty obvious. also they already have the portraits for each of the heroes and their alternates. Also an enemy called the Bone Giant, goblin fanatic, goblin WOLF RIDER (dafaq), siege mummy (carries this hammer across the ground and has iron shoulder armor) spider, ally units, the Hammerer (Barb unique?) Assassin (file name is Unit_assassin, so its not a hero, maybe the hero's unique) Hunter (a less heroic looking ranger) I got ALL of this information from the game files, also there are 2 sound files called werewolf_attack1 and 2. oh and the mage is called Turtle in the files and the sek'tah warrior is turtle warrior. Edit* oh and all this also means that this was all in here since the last update
Man I am so stoked. Once I beat the campaign, get the new heroes, it's off to endless for my Ranger yet again
Dude it was so easy that I don't remember what I did. Just level up on some earlier levels and you're set. Pretty sure.
I must really really suck. I keep dying. I upgrade my gold to +2 and just spam peons. It's not working :/
Yeah H&C is definitely not about spamming... one of the things you'll quickly learn is that it is very important to build the right units against the right enemies in the right situations For example Peons are a great unit for buying you time and taking pressure off of your walls... but they don't do much damage at all, so you need something to support them. Whether its Pikemen, Archers, or whatever. Also don't build units when you don't have to... if you're doing well in the middle of a level and already have a good force up and running, it might be better to save up for that 3rd gold mine.

dont just say what level your stuck on and your hero, there are many ways to do a level and the tips you may need are based on how you are losing (hero dying or keep dying). for a basic set of tips for every level go check the H&C wiki and search for the level guide
