Whats the fastest way to level up in this game if I play offline? A certain stage in campaign or endless? I really wanna level up my mage asap because at low levels I have no skill points for passive.
You should use trees if you are elf I'd think. I don't get the obsession with blunderbusses- I find having a few and then using you heroes special units more helpful.
If you handle them right, blunderbusses with the engineer or engineer x2 buff are pretty ridiculous. They hold a tight formation, so if you can keep everything in front of them, it's a formidable line.
I don't think stacking 4 longbeardmen works. I thought a couple updates ago, they maxed the buff cap to x2. I might be wrong. I guess some confirmation would be good...
Trees are by far the best special unit. High endurance and great attack. As for blunderbusses, it's all about setup. If I'm playing pally, I grab a longbeard, hut and forge - the fire rate is lethal - and the ability to protect them a little makes a huge difference. A few giants up field dealing with the ranged units doesn't hurt either.
Pally works very well with blunderbuss. I'd like to have one cleric for healing, one or two giants up in the middle, and the rest are blunderbusses. Also always use the healing skill near your blunderbuss line so they can heal too.
Anyone else not like the CV? Not sure I fully understand him. I don't get it. Also the engineer and archer are both stuck at 19. I have beaten the game with the Mage and Palladan so I at least know how to play but man I must suck with ranged heroes.
I'm pretty sure only one longbeard (it's longBEARD) works, I've bought two and my blunders didn't hit any harder, but I could be wrong. Also why is forsaken so hush hush about Mage nerfs? Are they intended? A straight answer would be nice. I'm not too partial to my Mage, but there's a bunch of people asking.

I think this strategy works even better with the reduction in wraiths on the new coop. Blunderbusses seem to be lasting a little longer.
Best campaign level to grind exp and level up/best exp per hour? I have a 100 gold / +1 gold per sec rune and run campaign level 25, i focus on Pikemen and Balista. It's a easy level once you have some Pikemen out and update Barracks - you can half afk it watching tv, just summon more Pikemen, repair wall or just buy 1 repairman so you don't have to repair walls. Gives decent exp Anyone share their afk/watch tv farm exp levels/strats?

new bug? quicksand... Anyone seen it where movement is severely restricted to where it's like you are walking in quicksand? I have noticed it tonight on my ipad 3, battery low at about 15% and only the app store and the TouchArcade app backgrounded. I have also noticed today that my brightness gets jacked almost all the way up from the normal 1/4 I have it set on. That means your system ram is low. Close all apps from background (ALL) Just restart device and you will be ok
Speical Units Besides Cleric, Tree and the Veteran Bot Are the other special units worth leveling up? IE dreadknought, mage's fish guy dont wanna waste crystals
