Btw, managed to beat Siege mode in under 3 mins yesterday, but GC only records my highest time due to a bug in the game. Oh well.
I think it's all manual by default. Upload your game to icloud from ipad then on phone download it. I do this all the time.
Has the Mage been nerfed as well during this update( fireball is now 35/dmg per second) I'm pretty sure it was in its 40's prior This is maxed upgrades Just I could swear the abilities were stronger prior
Haha oh deah, Well the new class is an interesting mishmash of the classic characters at least in visual style. High damage high mele, almost like the equal opposite to archer (almost) so suits me well enough as its high damage and that's cool. So many wired coop games now though; Mass bots Mass giants More mass bots And one game I put out one bot for its utility then all of a sudden the other guy obviously thought hey il have some of that and completely flooded the field with bots for the WHOLE population limit. He then proceeded to use the bots power ups to kamikazes on a giant and getting himself killed in the process, so I thought "sure he's learnt from that I won't hold a grudge!" then I proceeded to go and resurrect him but nope.... MORE MASSS BOTS and he died again taking up the whole population limit in the process a second time meaning I couldn't even rescue the game for a while so eventually I just left him dead... Maybe limit the ammount of bots allowed per person to two in cooperative? Epic face palming moments for sure. All of a sudden the world has gone crazy in here! Still forming an opinion on the other changes though, not sure what to make of the gold limit yet but I think it might be advantage 'hacker/jailbreaker' for the leaderboads however, that remains to be seen. Also I too feel that the gold thing limits the sandboxiness of the game but that's not really a judgment on it, will be holding off on that for now. If it was going to be something though better this than a level nerf (ughhhh, now that would have been grief worthy!) The Mage fireball nerf, can't really comment on it haven't tried that yet. Hopefully when the newness of the class dies down it will become less stressful with all the bot spam and those who don't seem to grasp its playstyle leave it alone that would be good. There are a few new bugs it's not perfect but the good outweighs the bad for sure. Was definitely worth the time investment on the development side. Overall thanks forsaken for what ammounts to a generally fun update, even with the issues it is definitely that and will at BEST keep replay ability for many, many months to come with the new coop class combinations and at WORST give something to do until your next game comes out next week.
Can you be more specific about this - do you mean crashing? What device are you using, and specifically was it endless, co-op, or both? Thanks.
Y'know, I played a decent 20 minute game with an Engineer before he disconnected, but Ranger and Engineer aren't too bad... He actually knew what to do and the game only lagged just a little bit :/ but for me, co-op is more stable now There should be a lobby or chat or something just before a game starts, that way you could plan out a strategy :3
was happen in co-op, but only when i played with the ranger [or later with the engineer]. i use an ipad 3, ios 5.1. when i switched to veteran, the game was much more stable, but when i tried with the engineer, in 2 from 5 games the problems reappeared. and no, no crashing, but lagging like it was a slow connection to the server [my internet connection is fine, never have problems from that]. but because nobody says here has co-op connection problems, i don't know what else to say... btw, when i played with the veteran [which is a great character] in co-op, i tried the clockwork defenders. they have no power damage and only help the veteran, and this look like a pain in the ass for the other guys i played with [who, btw, left the game instantly], so i assume, because those little guys don't help "the team" to resist longer but the veteran to be stronger, its not a very good idea to use them in co-op mode. i guess they are more helpful in the campaign.
For some reason I'm noticing something different to. There seems to be either a lot more lag or frame rate drops in coop for me. The game just is not as smooth sometimes. Don't get me wrong, it's not a game breaker but since the update I've noticed it. Ill monitor it and try to be more specific.
Argh, not liking the harder endless - enemies (seem to) come after me loads more - my freedom in the outfield as ranger seems a bit more hassle now. Oh well, I guess the upped difficulty is in line with the Devs plans. Has anyone else noticed enemies doing this more?
I did a search on this thread but couldn't find the answer to my question. For those of you that have a first gen IPad, is this game supported. If it is, how does it run?
Yeah that's true. Especially when I'm dealing with Mummy Kings, Cats, and so on, there will be that one units that usually takes away a third of my health >_> either that or he walks into the dozens of traps I've set up
maybe because so many veterans are spamming them at the moment he didn't want to take the risk or something, it's impossible to know. They are extremely useful in coop and they do help the team in the fact that they help to mitigate damage away from the walls(helps team). Any more than two out at a time is too many but keeping two up consistently can give frequent damage buffs which helps take down bigger units along with your native stun skills (which helps the team) and have a constant stream of damage absorption. The problem arises when all of the unit space is taken up with them and there is no dps coming out of the castle. But they help the team on at least two accounts.
Y'know, running through a hoard of enemies and knocking them all down is always fun with the veteran I guess when you put more run in later levels, he can just go PHWOOM and knock 'em all down.
