Can we please get a filter that allows us to sell anything under legendary? It takes so long to buy and sell runes ad nauseum My fingers and wrists are literally sore from spending hundreds of runes and reselling many times
At first I was annoyed by the gold cap in 2.1, but the more I reflect on it, I'm fine with it. I had the second highest score in endless 2.0, and it was all about hoarding gold and repairing walls nonstop. It actually did last too long for my taste. Without exploiting penalty wave timers, I could last over 40 minutes even with low level characters just by hoarding gold. Now, level is a bigger determinant regarding how long you last, and that's as it should be--level is a proper measuring stick in any RPG-ish kind of game. Something else that I really enjoy is that the +1 Gold Income runes are no longer the ultimate holy grail because of the cap. While still awesome, I feel like I can explore other strategies because sitting at 999 gold is obviously unproductive. I don't mind it.
I hope to adopt this attitude as well. Like I said, I haven't even tried it yet, so who am I to judge. I just appreciate that there is someone here that understands how I am playing and not making judgements and throwing around false accusations.
Veteran - Breaker skill I have the breaker skill maxed out and the enemy damage is definitely not being reduced by 90%. I have tested it several times against various enemies (with no other active effects). Foursaken, is their supposed to be a 90% reduction against all enemies? While I do see a reduction in enemy damage, it's not close to 90%. Great game!
I think the reduction in damage is more of an increase in armor, and enemies with armor pierce will always hit for a considerable amount.
We understand how you're playing, it still was an abuse of the gameplay in order to falsely gain time for the sake of inflated leveling and leader board placing. Foursaken said he had a vision of what he wanted endless to be like, and this is closer to what he wants and I think all can agree is more in line with the typical gameplay of the game.
How am I abusing gameplay again!? I'm killing units 100% of the time I'm playing. I choose to kill enemies with my hero, you choose to kill enemies with units. I think your decision is stupid, because you're losing XP by not killing them yourself. If, ultimately, the game is going to come down to a hero, a wall and a field full of enemies, why not cut to the chase and adapt the early and mid game to help you more towards the end game? This change certainly makes me reconsider this strategy, and that's fine, I accept that. What I don't accept is your assertion that I'm somehow abusing or exploiting the game because I'm using a strategy that focuses more on my skills with my hero and less on filling the battlefield with XP-sponges that ultimately do nothing more than decrease the rate at which I level up. I'm not cheating, abusing or exploiting anything. Get that straight.
So far, I've gotten 93 legendaries. I think the list might be infinite, as once you collect the higher end legendaries - the subsequent ones tend to dilute in value since getting identical runes doesn't occur. Ergo, if you have all the good legendaries I think future ones start decreasing into rare and uncommon terrain. Just a theory though.
Veteran leveling increases Just for anyone wondering about how to assign skill points to their veteran, it looks like if no points were added, here's how it'd look at level 99 via level-up increases: Health: 1735 (+15 per level-up) Damage: 124 (+1 per level-up) Run: 4.0 (.2 per 10 level-ups) Critical: 21 (2 per 10 level ups) Armor: 14 (1 per 10 level-ups) I think this fellow wont need to recharge its health very often, to say the least. But run and critical will definitely need some attention.
I tried to play H&C on my iPad but it didn't load my iPhone save. Sais check icloud data is on. I have identical game center and apple ID Any suggestions? Need a step by step if anyone can help
is just me, or the gameplay in endless coop mode became full of bugs/lag? restarted my device several times, still the same problems. today i wasn't able to play much than 5 minutes. anyone else with this issue? i was waiting for this update to see an improvement in multiplayer coop, but now looks worse
I don't understand some of these people I'm getting paired up with in co-op. Does anyone in here seriously think that pikemen have a place in co-op? Who builds a battle academy? Who spams peons, ever, in co-op? It's not like these things are getting buffed by a high level paladin, either. Mage. Knight. CV. I've had knights, two games in a row, fill my wall with archers. I roll my eyes when rangers do it, but at least they have a reason. High level players, too. If any of you guys follow this thread, please reconsider your strategy. What worked on the seventh level of the campaign will not work in co-op. /rant. Try again, I guess.
Own both of them. For +70 dmg, I have a single attribute +70, and a +35/+35 combo. I've heard someone has a +2 gold as single attribute, but I haven't seen it. An ultimate combo would be +2 gold/+70 dmg, but I doubt that exists since it's too OP.
So I finally had a good game with a high level engineer. It was fun. The gold cap really only comes into play towards the end, as expected. No big deal, I guess. I still feel it limits the sandbox, but if that's the way the dev sees the game, that's the game I'm going to play. Connection was great and we went 40 minutes or so.
