You should level up some more and put more points into skills. Without Bramble maxed your Archer is basically screwed.
That's more like it. But me hypocritical? Look what you said a while back: I just find it ironic that you'd rather me disconnect, but here you're asking FM to penalize people who disconnect at hero selection page. I didn't even use my Pally in our last matches, and we went 2-2, and that should be the end of it. Anyway, think I'm done with this conversation (after all the current leaderboard are obsolete anyway). Can't wait for the next update.
I want to try the new Hero so badly. I hope Apple will put the update through early because this game is so freaking amazing. Though I doubt this may happen, one can only hops
I meant I'd rather you disconnect than play an obviously at the moment broken hero that you knew you couldn't lose as. Anyway we're all debating on a vacuum of broken gameplay that neither of us obviously wanna be in. No need to continue the argument, just look forward to the update.
Yes, VS is broken currently, but I have a feeling the next update tilts the balance to the evil side a bit too much. I'm playing half my matches as evil and have been winning regularly with the balance the way it is now. We'll see.
Just getting on the ranger fan bus from a few pages back, one way ticket please...er...whatever! # I find him the most fun the play. Good summary earlier on the brambles/fire arrows etc. Very satisfying lining up a long range shot on a moving target and timing it perfectly....boom! Let the arrow go and you just know its going for the right place so you can immediately switch to next target. Catapults are a one-shot kill for me from a decent range, seeing them do that death lean is also one of the satisfying moments with ranger...boom! Also loving doing that last second adjustment or spin when you're holding the attack button and...boom...out come 3 arrows, either hitting 3 targets or all hitting 1. Actually, every landed shot with ranger is fun - long or short range. And definitely agree with the earlier post, always stay on the move and I always hold the attack button down constantly - of course a few arrows go astray, but rate of fire is nice and quick. Ranger forever!!!! unless the new heroes turn out more fun . Of course will try them all out as this game just rules!
Yeeeeeaaaah Rangers forever. The best part is when you turn on fire arrow and line your triple shot perfectly to hit and kill some 20 units. The best part though is killing a troll with 10 Crits of 400-500 every single shot
I've started to play the ranger. Have mine to lvl 66 with emphasis on more health than being given by leveling. Gotta say its a joy to play in coop with someone who gets what the ranger is good at (ie stays back and watches my back and let's the ranger play long ball). Absolutely deadly when combined with the pally damage boost. I'd say pally-ranger is without a doubt the best coop combo. Followed closely by pally-engineer or Mage. Edit to add I'd enjoy taking two level 99 engineers into coop and seeing how long they could last with protected walls/keeps/mines for 2/3 of the game.
Yeah, same. Nothing to spend on but rune crafting. I blew about 700 crystals on crafting and came out with some nice legendaries. Hoping to have every possible legendary combination before I'm done. At 72 right now, getting there.
What is the magic number of legendary combinations? I presume one "side" of the rune can only have max +1 when it's gold. What are the highest other single attributes possible? Would be good to get official word too - so we know what to aim for.
Even though its definitely possible to win as evil, a rushing knight with taunt, a smart Mage, and a ranger can all feasibly keep cultists and troops at bay with ease meanwhile building an army, with zero threat to the good hero unless he takes unnecessary risks. Hopefully now the evil can be the one who threatens initially, whereas the good player can take the defensive role, much like it is in the actual campaign.
Very good question. Without knowing anything other than its probably coded that a person never gets a rune they already have, I'm guessing there are whatever number of combinations x2 (flipping 20/12 cost to 12/20, etc). I have about 25 unique combinations with others merely being flipped duplicate combos. At any rate, some of the more interesting ones I've got are: 400 health 1 gold/12 build cost 70 damage 30/25 critical percentages 1 gold/20 armor 2 hp/1 hp Plus a lot of legendaries that will never get used (like starting gold, etc)
How to level up more faster ? Damn i shud have max that out its a goood skill Thanks for the suggestion but how do people level up fast ? I feel levelin is very slow for me :/
Speaking of runes, I'd like a revamped rune screen, maybe a list showing attributes instead of the current screen. Do most players (eventually) do the same, and horde the legendary runes, sell everything else so it's just all blue! I'll never use 90%+ of the ones I've got as they don't suit my cowardly ranger play style, but just holding on to them anyway. Maybe they'll be a rune trading/gifting system in a future update, I think that would be cool. Or rune drops in the game might be an idea. Or maybe a new class of super rare legendary runes, called "Super Rare Legendary Rune".
whats the best way to start playing this game? do u want to try and unlock all your characters or should i just work on one?
