    Foursaken you seriously need to address the hero balance for basically any hero but the initial hero on the evil side. The mummy can't catch anything, therefore can't press the other hero, therefore is useless. I have a fully upgraded mummy hero who hits tree men for 1 damage. 1. While the other hero can mow through anything I put out.

    I know it's a sieging hero, but honestly no hero will just let you attack the wall, and he honestly can't do shit against anyone who has a brain.

    I'm starting to think that now that everyone knows what evil can do, you can't win as them against anyone who has a brain.

    Good games btw Foursaken, you sure do know your shit, it's impossible to lose using your strat as knight

    Lol, so you figured it out too! haha. Evil can't compete against a hero that knows what they are doing.

    I didn't figure it out, everyone else did. I've known a good hero who knew what he was doing could win. Cultist health needs to scale, or this won't work.

    Cultist HP does scale - or at least its supposed to... just double checked and it looks like there is a number wrong in the equation so it only scaled 1 HP per level >_<... Will be fixed for next update.

    That being said... Evil is on a very slippery slope of being OPed with their economy - they either perpetually get their eco wiped out, making it hard to do anything... or they get it up and running at a high capacity and it makes it VERY tough on the good player... we're looking into a few different tweaks to see if we can't get a better balance with their economy... I'll give more details in a bit.

    As for my own experience, I seem to go about 50/50 with high level Good players as Evil, which is what I would expect... played quite a few rounds against 1700-1900+ players today as Evil, and I didn't really see anything nuts - won a few notable games as Evil, and I lost a few rounds as Good as well.

    I'm not saying balance is there yet - this game has 100s of variables and balance will be an ongoing process - but I'm not sold that its some grossly imbalanced thing...

    P.S. as for your mummy comparison... probably shouldn't compare Evil's worst offensive hero against the single most armored unit in the game... there are situations where mummy excels, but you have to upgrade him appropriately - such as upgrading health, heal, and armor related stuff so you can just go in and whack his walls down. He is also quite good in certain match-ups, such as against Engineer and Paladin who don't have the greatest damage output.

    Yeah the mummy comparison was a bad example.

    Ever think of just making VS like Siege, where its a static level for both sides? Seems like it would be easier to balance in the long run. I'd hate to lose the varied gameplay that different hero levels offer though.

    Good to know about the cultists, honestly it should take just as long for a level 20 knight to kill cultists as a level 99. I'm aware evil is on a very slippery slope to have too much dark energy, but ATM there's almost no way to stop a charging knight, who taunts, AOEs all mobs and kills all cultists. From there it's just downhill for evil, where the knight plays it safe.

    I'm loving the gradual balance though, I've beat a few rangers, even a level 50+ one. (Used the siege towers ;) Definitely heading in the right direction, see how the cultist buff effects things. I can see that evening things up a bit.

    Around an hour seems to be the magic mark. My best was about 57:30 tonight (louisfriend), had 75% keep hp and little wall damage but got popped trying to be greedy and attempting a cat take down while kiting the evil army behind me.

    I'm just getting going on endless and I think 90 minutes is feasible for a knight but keeping the kill ratio high enough to avoid total wall destruction during cool down is a difficult challenge.

    Few questions about siege mode-
    Does AI hero respawn as different classes automatically when it dies? Because this is the second time I've seen a dwarf at the beginning of a siege and a knight towards the end.

    Also, is the AI hero supposed to do 1 damage to wraiths? Because I clearly saw the knight hit the wraith and only do 1 damage.

    Multiplayer CRASHING!

    hey all
    Ive been playing this game for a while now and i have never had a multiplayer game that has finished by me dieing it has always CRASHED!!!
    it gets very very lagy then crashes.

    Ive tried:
    double pressing the home button and removing all the active apps.
    restarting my ipod.
    removing apps and stuff to make space (i have 8gig free).
    i play it on my iphone 4 but no better.
    it cant be my internet connection cause i have good connection.

    any help would be great!!

    p.s
    if it help i have a ipod 4g 32gig ios 6.1.2 and i have the latest version of H&C

    What the... You guys are hitting the hour mark in endless and co-op? Geez I'm jealous! I'm barely able to break 14 minutes.

    Can't wait till I can do that!

    Oh good, someone as "bad" as me! I hit 15 mins in endless and let out a little poop with excitement, and then I got mercilessly cut down for such a low achievement by the forum, very hurtful :)

    For me, it just seemed mental at 15 mins, my hand eye co-ordination went flying out the window. Hopefully can add more an more seconds to that as my ranger levels up, or I find a better legendary rune.

    We must keep going!

    Ugh, if versus wasn't unbalanced enough, you get these guys. Nifleheim is a hacker. His level 9 warrior did 300 damage a swing. Didn't even attack the tree, just killed me inside the tree area. I did 1 damage to him.

    The most I'm able to get is around 20 min, either with a very highlevel paladin or a dwarf with a legendary rune that works well for him. i have no idea how these people are lasting that long.

    At some point you have to accept that your defenses are decimated and that you alone must defend the castle. You have to spend your gold on wall repairs much more often than not at this point. You also must be diligent about clearing archers and especially catapults. Things will start to hit a lot harder and leaving the keep gets more risky but that's the best way to last. A high level character > an entire army of defenses.

    This is true.

    After 30 minutes or so, it becomes a war of attrition, not a war of armies. Your goal isn't necessarily to kill everything, but to prevent everything from destroying your walls and keep. Best way to do this is with fortifications and towers, not units. Further, you want to take the fight to the enemy. Try to kill as much as you can on their side of the battlefield. It will keep you in close proximity to their cats, archers and snipers and give you the opportunity to get some shots in on the bigger enemies before they get close to your walls. Once they do get to the walls, hopefully towers and riflemen can finish them off, otherwise, you'll have to widen your attention arc, kill them, and get back to the far side.


    I find that I do the best when I can play in the backfield as much as possible.

    I've played a few games with Brush, and he is very good at maintaining this style of play.

    To survive longer, two absolute rules in endless and coop:

    1. Gold to repair walls
    2. Eliminate catapults, archers and snipers immediately.

    And a tip: the faster you kill the enemy, the faster they come back even stronger. Gotta pace your offense to let the defense catch up.

    This is what gets me. Like I feel Like I can't kite effectively as a Paladin at lvl 90 because when I hit things to get their attention, i kill other things and now I have like killed a few skeletons and go another troll to deal with.

    I don't know how you guys focus exclusives on the backfield on cats and archers, because I get like 10 wraiths spawning at midfield every few minutes, and just mowing down my defenses. I can one hit wraiths but then I just seems to get more and more of them.
