Forsaken the mage stops gaining 25+ hp / 100 damage once it reaches around 1500 hp or something is there a cap on the mages hp or is it a bug? If it's not a cap it might also be happening when you get hit over 100 damage. My mages hp starts at 1250 so I can't really gain much from this skill anymore and i'm only level 64 so it's only gonna get worse for that skill if it's capped
@fm. Your prob had a nice influx of purchases this weekend. I've turned on a few of my friends that purchased the game and some IAP's. I hope you guys make a fortune off this. Off topic-@FM. I'm super stoked for your next game that should be out soon, but is there any word on whats in store after that. Your games are by far the best on the App Store and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us.
Its capped... a natural level 99 Mage has about 750 HPs... meaning that you can get almost double health from this ability... definitely do not want mages just building up their health and healing for a 30 minute co-op or versus game to the point where they have thousands and thousands of HPs and are indestructible... heck, Mage is already one of the best heroes in the game - he definitely doesn't need any favors
So I just started playing the game. I'm a level 20 knight, and I'm stuck on campaign level 18. I have, however, 39 unused crystals that I wish to spend upgrading units (I've only upgraded the gold mine so far, but to max). My question is, which unit or combination of units is the best? Thanks!
Which walls? Wood, Stone, Reinforced, Steel? Also, what difference does it make to upgrade at 19/20 when I can't get past level 18?
Level 19 is harder then 18 by a fair bit. After stage 19, you should be able to do everything else :3
I'm trying to figure out which unit/building/combination of units I should upgrade. It won't hurt to use some crystals on 18 to get through it easily so I can move on to level 19/20.
At least stone walls, but ballista too will be useful on 18, 19 and 20. For units, I find riflemen and pikemen useful on most levels, but I had grinded co-op and earlier levels before I got to these ones, so had a load of buildings and units upgraded 3 or 4 levels by then.
Lol. I'm sorry. What I meant was if your having trouble on 18, wait until you get to 19-20. Those levels are brutal. My suggestion is to get about 3-4 blunderbusses, the forge then dwarfs hut. This has been my go to for most levels. Also maybe throw in a couple of long beards that will bring your blunderbuss damage insanely high. Obviously just keep spamming more blunder's after you get the hut up.
What I did was build steel walls, spam giants, make ballistas and make blunderbusses. The giants knockback the troll chieftans, then the ballistas shoot. I think I made a forge and Hut, but I don't remember :/
If you ever manage to beat 28, stage 29 is probably one of the best levels to train. Only 2 catapults, and a bunch of skeleton units and runners. Quite easy if you do it right.
Upgrading wall and spamming giants is one easy way to pass the low 20s levels. I didn't bother with anything else. Also, I smacked wraiths/armor skelys once to have them chase me around, so i can buy time to get the gold
I'd love to see the option to respec skill points in a future patch. I think most of us can claim to have made some minor errors in point placement along the way. Could be a good gem sink. Also, I just got top time in Endless Mode--1:18:50. Wow, they start to hit friggin' hard! I don't know if its possible to stretch it too much further as the cooldown on wall repairs becomes a liability. Hit point increase a fair amount too--nearly double from what I observed.
Thanks for that. I have a level 59 Engineer but I don't have any really good runes and none that give extra gold. Possibly the best I have is +20% critical/+50 starting gold. I have experimented with different strategies and they are all generally similar to your Phase 1 strategy. However, I find that once the wraiths, trolls etc come in droves all my units ground and wall) tend to focus on the wraiths and then get smashed up by the trolls. While I am busy killing the wraiths my keep gets destroyed very quickly by the catapults and archers. I will give your strategy a go and see how I go. Cheers.
I just wish the multiplayer mode has an end rather than endless rush. And if possible allows more than 2 players in the game will be nice.
Woah, that's an idea : more than 2 players in co-op? That would be excellent, if not too crazy to implement. Foursaken - please consider this for future update.
