Which makes it broken, and needs to be nerfed.

EDIT: Actually i meant the Ranger needs to be nerfed. Most especially Brambles in PVP and that scaling auto-attack damage :p

Keep them all in case there's a trading/gifting rune system in a future update. I've got 7 overall and often mix up playing with them depending on which hero I am. But mainly I play ranger and rotate my 4 favourite, depending whether I want to spam units, be all about buildings, start with 150 gold, or push my critical to 100%.

So I reckon hold them as some sort of trophy room anyway, even if you don't switch them around often. They might be worth something in future update.

Not to mention I would think there's a good chance you could draw the same rune again instead of getting a new one if you sold it off. I have 30 legendary runes that I won't get rid of just in the hopes of getting another one of the truly awesome ones the next time I earn one, not just a rune I've previously had but discarded.

If they make crafting legendary runes more probable on the next update, I'll probably blow some of the 1000 or so crystals I've collected trying to get the ones I don't have.

Anyway, never part with what you don't really want in legendary class (or rare for that matter I guess as well).

What is the maximum level you can hit? Is there enough skill points to upgrade all the skills or do you have to pick say 3 skills to focus on?

The Ranger is so completely weak at everything else that hopefully they'll add greater health and armor as it levels up. Brambles are the only thing keeping a lot of rangers from a quick and embarrassing demise.

Probably 20 attack / 7 armour is best - like the other post mentioned, 10 extra in attack may not make a difference depending on your current damage stat. And armour not only prevents knockdown if above 10 overall (I believe), there is also the damage reduction element it gives.

Level 99. Starting from level 1 you'll have 196 skill points til you get to level 99 that you can allocate to your hero. Level ups also reward skill points, differently based on hero (mages get more health on level ups than rangers, for instance - paladins get speed and critical more than knights). Try to balance your character a little against what you notice the game isn't helping on level ups. But definitely update your active/passive skills early.

    is the max level
there are more than enough points to max out all the skills and then focus on stats at high levels.

Depending on the hero, you might want to focus on certain abilities before others. For the dwarf for example, once you get on point in artillery active ability, i never saw the need to upgrade it, as catapults aren't useful on most levels(it's hard enough to keep enemies off mortar towers, catapults are usually sitting ducks). Where as the wall discount or crack shot or fortify, are almost essential for many levels. It's trial and error.

Speaking of armour, is it definitely 10 to avoid knockdowns?

Also, what is the damage reduction effect, is it one damage point per stat level?

Would be interested in other stuff like the health of enemy units and their armour and other stats, and whether they are increased at all the higher the campaign level or further in co-op/endless you reach.

Definitely 10 to avoid all knockdowns.

I'll second what you're interested in, would be nice to know exactly how much damage it takes to knock off the various enemy forces.

Does anybody else have major performance issues on iphone 4 when lots of units / spells are going down? My phone slows down to a slideshow with nothing else running and plenty of free memory.

I'd like an enemy health indicator in game. Might not be feasible to implement given all the other damage/healing numbers that flash up and also when enemies are bunched together may be hard to distinguish.

Maybe just the same indicator that friendly units have - the traffic light system thing? I suppose having no indicator makes it a bit more frantic/challenging/realistic :). but sometimes hard to keep track in a group of enemies of who you and the units or your co-op partner have damaged; and you end up wasting an ability on some very close-to-death enemies.

If enemy health indicator not feasible, I would like the killing blow damage number of an enemy to flash a different colour. Not a major issue at all, just a nice to have; so instead of shooting another arrow or taking another swing at an enemy - and being unsure whether dead or just knocked down.

Actually what the friendly units have being given to enemies would be good to have. Really more than anything having it for trolls and mummy kings would be useful in tactical decision making. There's always the question of who will go down first when choosing whom to take on, and frankly if one is about to fall over with a nudge it'd be better knowing that in order to pick them off quickly.

For the amount of playability this game has, it's worth $30. One of the best I've ever played on any platform.

This is the best game to come to iOS in recent memory (maybe the best iOS game ever). Do yourself a favor and get Heroes and Castles. You will love it!

    Can you craft legendary runes?

For anyone who is not sure whether to buy this, I will tell you that this is arguably the best game on IOS it is absolutely incredible. It has many different elements like tower defense, strategy, rpg and action games all thrown into one game.

Most important it is stable, it doesn't crash like most games in IOS.

Yes you can craft legendaries. I've crafted maybe 30 runes and got 1 legendary.

No question this game is worth it. It is very well balanced and has its pissed off moments where you think it's unbeatable but it is. My 7 year old and I enjoy it immensely.

Am I the only one that runs behind their blunderbuss's to push them out from behind the walls quicker?
