To appear legit? I mowed down 3 things of peons and 2 captains while beating on your walls and you still had enough to make a crusader apparently and reinforce your walls, all the while one shotting me last match and from my perspective only taking 1 damage. Oh yeah, your melee attack hits for 100+, possible at level 25? My level 30 knight has a 54 base damage. I've played enough as a 25ish knight to know what type of economy you're dealing with and the damage you can dish out. You cheat, straight up, but I don't expect you to admit it here. I'm not a child, I'm 30, but you might want to question your maturity level cheating in an iPhone game..
Superb game!!! Thx This game is very close to having a console quality (PS1 or XBOX type) type of game on the mobile platform. Thank you for this game as it is a very good stress reliever, at least in campaign or single player mode. Can you please add more sound effects on your next update for added ambiance of the on going battle. This will greatly add up to the immersion factor.
Hey Guys! I have a question about pvp. Does anybody know how to win as the evil side when you face a lvl 7ish mage/pally who just bum rushes you at the start and kills off your few cultists and then starts killing your tree? It seems like once you lose the few cultists you can make at the start, you cant win.
Please note,This was originally posted by Forsaken Media. I'm just to lazy to go back and find it. (Copied it down when I first seen it.) "Meh versus is so broken. Average win time as good is 24 seconds. That's how long it takes to shoot the tree, then the hero, often without moving from the fort (Using the very Imba archer). This is also achievable by all classes, just a little slower. There is absolutely nothing the evil player can do, -nothing- at all except watch the tree die then get knockdown, snare and stun then death. There is no counter to that. I suggest making the tree invulnerable for the first 2 minutes of the game or something similar. Some form of challenge would be nice. This would also put most of the initial moments more on the units and strategy as opposed to rush, win, restart. I only play evil (everyone likes to go good )... and I've fought quite a few of the top 25 guys (I'm right at around 27 so far, 19 wins/3 losses... 2 of those losses shouldn't have happened ). Its pretty easy to beat the bum rushing Paladins and Knights, I'm telling you... just stomped a level 80 Paladin again. I would be more than happy to match up with someone who is so sure its imbal, perhaps tomorrow. I just find it funny... I've heard people now say that evil is ridiculously imbal, and good is ridiculously imbal I fully expect the balance to be like that while people are still learning how to play Evil. There's a LOT of new content that Evil has to learn, with new active abilities, new passive abilities, etc. vs Knight rush: Build 1-2 cultists. Get Goblin Mushroom (active). Get Swordsman (passive - double damage). Start building skeletons like normal. Once he's at the tree, either he attacks the tree and you can get such a significant edge up on him beating on his back that you can kill him once your tree is dead, or he attacks you, where you will out heal him while dealing heavy damage, forcing a retreat. vs Paladin rush: Similar as Knight, except get Ancient Armor, which makes you immune to knockdown, while giving you a huge armor bonus. By the time the effect wears off, you should have easily outdamaged him, making him think twice about continuing the attack."
Very low level mages should not have very good survivability. If they rush you, dont' build any cultists, just upgrade you hero to take them on with what energy you do have. Mages should not be able to kill the tree very easily at that level. Just beware of Knockback, like the paladin,
Keep in mind the lower level the hero, the more powerful your troops will be in comparison, and visa versa, with a high level hero don't waste your power on cheap mobs that will be killed instantly/or ignored. With low level mages at like 7 or 8 they will have all their skills most likely, but they won't be that high. I'd recommend getting 1-2 cultists then using skeletons or if he appears to be rushing hard at your tree get swordsman. Mages have VERY low run, so you should be able to run away even if he kills your tree. Just don't get caught away from his tree, and make sure you're beating on him whenever possible if he goes for your cultists or tree, since he has to watch his health, because he can't use his spells unless he hurts himself. Same goes for a paladin, except you can be a little more aggressive. Again I STRESS be aggressive (even so much as rushing his wall with your hero) and to keep his wall full of skeletons while he tries to assault your tree/cultists. It takes a LONG time for a level 7-8 hero to clear 20 skeletons.
Oops, i mean, I think Paladin is easier as long as you use him correctly, focusing on ground units and skills that help them out.
Awesomeness continues... Have played a bunch of online games now, have won as evil and as good. I have played some great chess matches with evenly matched players, and cannot see where folks are complaining it is more difficult to win as evil. The higher the hero, I just upgrade my swordsman and can withstand, then build up forces. The early mid game is usually a make or break.... If you do not handle getting repelled, it can be tough to come back in the game. If you focus on Evil's economy, usually is the key, but you must continue to build at castle depending on how they are spending their economy. I love this game, I would love to add some of you other folks passionated about the game, I am TheManns4. Thanks! Foursaken, looking forward to more updates! A new castle scenario woul be nice.....
I have a question, what rune should I choose? 30+ Attack rune or 20+ Attack/+7 Armor? Currently using 30+ attack rune.
Unless you feel that 10 attack is really making the difference between one shotting or two shotting a monster, I'd go with the armor one, 7 armor can make a hug difference getting knocked down.
Ok was bored and wanted to try some siege mode with archer, next thing you know, I face rugged and say to myself "Well, I am screwed. Like badly screwed." I didn't quit mainly because I was curious. Yep, needless to say I got wrecked. I was just wingin' it :L Oh and I was evil and his Mage absolutely destroyed .-.
I already crit more than half my shots. Thanks :3 what runes should I keep and dispose of? I have six of em :L Damage +20 Damage +10 Damage +20 Armor +7 Critical +20% Run +10 Armor +12 Building Cost -8% Health +100 Starting Gold +50 Health +100 Health +50
I think for people that are more experienced with kiting, and aren't the best at multitasking, Knight is the way to go. Taunt, then Valiant Charge everything to death. Btw, do the goblin snipers remind anyone of flea machine gunners from Bug Heroes? Edit: With Knight, you gotta be very active though.
With the paladin, is it better to invest skill points into the active and passive skills or upgrade his individual stats? I guess this question goes for all characters, It seems strange that you can only pick stats or skills, in most games normally stats increase automatically when you level up then you and add more.
Stats do also increase per level, the points are just an additional amount you can add. For the most part, skills are best, unless you're trying to make some kind of twink for PVP, and going heavy armor or run/attack. There are some debatably useless skills (ranger elvaan archer), but for the most part max skills out, your stats increase on their own.
Yeah... They should at least take like 4 bombs to kill a gold mine, not 2. Nothing is quite as satisfying as watching a Giant take a massive swipe and just obliterate one of those little bastards.
What feels great as a Ranger is killing 30+ enemies at the wall on stage 29 in one hit with fire arrows.
