Universal Heroes and Castles - (by Foursaken Media)

    My save just got corrupted :( Hero level is still there but campaign progress has been reset and after I choose the first level and hit play the app crashes to the home screen. Reboot didn't help.

    Could be related: after a crash or force quit from the multitasking bar, I'd get the iCloud prompt. I always hit cancel there without any problems, until now :(

    I guess reinstalling should prompt me to download my previous iCloud save again hopefully?

    Just had a co-op game with SlidetoPlay (im assuming the game site)

    He had a level 19 knight, and he was just mobbin up enemies. I was a level 10 dwarf guy (or 9, not sure). We made it about 8 or 9 minutes in, then these black ghost things come in and really start wrreckin, along with the zombies that take a gajillion hits to win.

    This game is amazing!

    Good games to McCree and everyone else I was able to play with this morning!

    Hmmmm, thats odd. Very odd... we're looking into it right now to see what could've happened!

    Yes - now that is what we want! We want co-op to be a challenge, and really to reward the players who put in the time to level up their characters. We really hope that when people get spanked in co-op, they have more of a feeling of "dang, I want to level up my hero and get better units" rather than "dang, that is way too hard, i don't want to play again."

    If your character levels up on a specific level, but then you lose, do you still keep the experience gained?

    I'm so angry. I bought Ravensword:Shadowlands the second it appeared for $6.99 because of all the hype. Then this game shows up and it has a hundred times the tactical quality of Ravensword. Why don't games like this get the attention they deserve? I've been playing this game all day and I can't put it down. This is the most fun I've had since Infinity Blade 2. TA, if this gets less than 6 stars (yes I said 6) in your review that would be seriously unfair.

    Yep, you keep any experience. Also, FYI you gain xp per hit, not per kill, so in co-op you get what you dish out. You also DO earn xp by using abilities, so you aren't at a disadvantage using Paladin, for ex.

    Heh, thanks - glad you're enjoying i! I can't tell you how awesome it feels to be seeing all this positive feedback, regardless how the game does. Makes us really want to step on the gas to get the huge update out just to say "thanks!"

    I truly did not think anything would dethrone the two Bug Heroes games in my estimation, but this one may come close - and I'm only on level four with all three characters. Definitely got my attention with this one! (Of course, I will still be super-majorly-fantastically excited if any more Bug Heroes games come out.)

    I just wrote the first review for the swiss appstore. I rated it 5 stars its so great. It got me so hooked i should have been in bed for too long # i like the smooth gameplay, the graphics and that you can have fun without iap's.

    This...is a fantastic game. Really, really good from the get-go. Glad I paid launch price and didn't wait for a sale or something. You guys make some great games.

    Suggestions if you care to listen:

    -allow us to reposition the buttons

    -pressing sprint without moving forward drains stamina but doesn't move us. How about we press and hold sprint, and then slide our finger to change direction. That's what Gameloft does and IMO it works really well.

    -the strategy is just excellent and a ton of fun. The actually hero part? Not as much because combat feels pretty dull. I posted some suggestions a page or so back for livening up the combat. Seriously this is probably the only big flaw in the game.

    -I haven't got far so I don know if this is or it not relevant, but the battlefield seems to stay the same appearance and size. Change it up! Different landmarks, cliffs etc to make us change our strategy, expand the area 2-4x the size. You're catering to 256mb devices, unlock it for 512-1gb devices and allow there to be many times more enemies onscreen, in bigger areas. More NPCs=more chaos of war!

    -as paid DLC, give us new heroes with different abilities. How about adding some magic to the mix, maybe some kind of loot, as in different armor, weapons, etc? That way our heroes are unique and look different, also we aren't just adding stats but equipping stuff as well

    Really that's all I can think of, congrats on a great, great game. Really hope you guys make a bundle off of it and support it with more updates!

    Chitty007 and myself just went 3 rounds back to back and almost made it 5 minutes each time. I kept trying to taunt them away from the wall while he tried to build things up. Worked out pretty well until one of us went down then the mobs were to close to get a full revive in. Have to strategize a bit more. Good times.

    I didn't think I really needed taunt until I saw how its used to get mobs away from the castle.

    I just played 4 times with the same guy and I was the one who kept dying. Dam.

    I think this is my favourite iOS game ever.
