I'm pretty sure it's a max of 3 per endless. Honestly unless you literally don't have a dollar to your name, the crystals are so cheap you're better off buying them and supporting forsaken to make more updates! 10 crystals an hour is pretty pathetic considering you can get 750 for $10.
Does anyone win as evil against players who know remotely what they are doing? I mean I guess he did have 1500 rep so he might have got some of that as evil, but as a warrior he just camped for my cultists, so upgraded my hero and spammed goblins, and when he finally left them alone for a bit, I built up some wraiths and some necros and got something going(he had steel walls by that point), he just ran back and killed my cultist and necros. But that I had upgraded to Warrior liche and could reanimate the dead, but he just stopped using ground units. When I actually tried to defend my cultists(DUMBBO) he killed me in one valiant charge basically. So do I really suck that bad at evil, or is their just no winning strategy against a human who is somewhat competent? I've never lost on the good side, especially with the mage. Even against some what decent players as evil, as the good side I can't lose. I just seems hopelessly imbalanced in my opinion.
Congratulations, you finally figured out that you can't win on the evil side against an opponent which knows how to play the game.
Not true, I've beaten the entire top 25 as evil, it's possible. Your fault was using wraiths against a knight, last I checked a high level knight eats wraiths for breakfast, use what you hate facing as a good hero, and that's how you'll win. Only use wraiths if the hero really can't handle them, (low level, paladin, doesn't have a lot of stats into attack) and only in the lower levels, aim more towards Orc chieftains and trolls if he's going all defense and rushing you, use wraiths only if he's spamming troops/using trolls.
*if you're playing against someone who actually knows how to play the game, he won't even let you to summon wraiths or anything. A guy who knows how to play the game will go for your bearer(s) right away and then for the cultists. fyi: the good hero can't summon trolls, you probably meant giants...
Firstly he wasn't high level(high levels are easier because you get more dark energy). He was level 26-27. And I never said it was impossible to win as evil, I said it was imbalanced. I wasn't using only wraiths, just enough to take the hordes of peons and and the fire from the ranged units. To get orc chieftans and and trolls, you need not only another bannerman or two, but also a goblin drummer. And by that time he targeted the bearers. And while you are investing resources in that, you aren't attacking the walls and keeping him busy. I'm sorry, but none of your strategy would have worked. All you have to do is focus on the bearers and cultists at the start, and evil can never build up enough to overcome the defenses. Why can't he do all 3? spam units and rush and do defense? Because that's what he was doing. Do you want to play me, with you being evil? My name is roguedandelion, same as here. I bet I win with the mage and I'm nowhere near top 25. Regardless of your individual experience, there is reason why 9 time out of 10 the opponent picks good.
That's where you failed, if you're getting rushed you shouldn't be making bearers, at the most skeletons/wraiths 1-4 cultists and whatever abilities you feel you need to deal with the hero, until you feel like you've forced him back, don't use bearers until you have enough dark force out to bring out those monsters you planned on using the bearers for in the first place. Trust me, I'm not saying its even, but if you throw something new at the good hero and have a plan beyondd what he does, you will win.
Oh wise one... Please tell me what should I use to push him back? Goblins? Skeletons? If you use those he can keep repairing the walls and you can't summon anything. He won't kill them. He will build his steel wall up, summon giants and stuff and go right for you. You will not be able to summon anything, because of the population limit.
I never said it wasn't, I overstayed my welcome for sure, I'm used to fighting lower level mages. Just need to adjust my strat, you literally take me down from full to dead in one second.
Dude your lagging hard, you're just flying around the room, it started slightly at the last match and was just terrible that last one. Are you experiencing the same thing? You froze me from halfway across the map, I'm assuming you we're close by on your screen.
