Yeah I noticed that but he's not number one. He's actually number 3 and that's what my post was referring to. And nobody said that level 75 was any good. I just said I smashed him.

I've used Elven Arrows all through the campaign and often in co-op and endless. Mostly though, its early on to get through the starting waves, and I hold out without ground units for as long as possible.

When ability is fully upgraded and with (at least) 4 or 5 archers to make it worthwhile, it is powerful and the extra range factor is a real benefit.

Problem with later in levels is that archers generally get killed very quickly, and even though they are dirt cheap, it's not practical to spend 100 gold on 5 of them instead of repairing / ballista / pikemen or whatever. Plus you're right about the cooldown, it stays at 75 seconds whatever level you upgrade the ability to.

So to summarise :) : useful early on but rubbish later, and obviously no use when all walls are down and you're defending the keep with your last breath - whereas I find the trap ability just great all round - maybe too overpowered!

As an aside, I'd like to see a new elvish unit with a shortbow or crossbow who is a ground unit. They'd have low armour but are cheap, fast movers and venture much further from the castle than blunderbusses. Would be affected by Elven Arrows and the longbeard.

Back to the trap ability, maxed out it does big damage175, 13 seconds stun,17 seconds cooldown, and does have a decent spread/range and hits multiple targets. Even though takes 3 seconds to activate, placement is instant. Great to just place strategically for when enemies approach or more actively on a group of enemies already bunched up at the castle walls.

Apologies - I realise now you only asked about Elven Arrows :-D

Wow. Bad news. Update was rejected... for some... strange reasons.

Apple is now asking us to increase the age requirement, stating that the game has "intense and frequent, realistic violence"... despite already having a frequent/intense fantasy violence rating, and already having been approved with this rating several times now. They want this thing to be 17+?? Sigh.

Not only that but they're saying the game has no "restore" purchases button, which is right there in the options . Now we'll have to wait another week - at least - to see this freaking hotfix

Sorry about this guys, but there's nothing we can really do.

It seems to be rated 9+ now, which seems wrong. 17+ also seems wrong. Seems like it should be 12+, to me.

Lol... And yet they approve illegal scam apps all the time.

How can they say the violence is realistic???? If I go and pop some one off right now their corpse will stink and they won't dissapear into thin air by magic. Where is the realism in skeletons and fat trolls attacking my house?

So.... Any one need a job doing? If the pay is good.... ;)

That really is ridiculous.

You should resubmit and challenge it, ring up apple directly and discuss it but challenge it nonetheless.

We are... just hope it doesn't take longer to go through the appeal process than it does to just resubmit >_<

Guys watch out for The Entrepreur in VS, hes a cheater and like 1200 RP, so he will your rank over if you play him. He has a mountain as an avatar.

I wish you my genuine best wishes in progressing with this.
Good luck :)

I know how difficult it can be, I submitted updates to my own app in December to be released around January 12 and I haven't heard anything about it, but I was accepted on the app store last year lol... It's a crap app I don't like it but I'm not going to pretend it doesn't exist for the people who have downloaded it even for free built in little time at all because it's about ethics more than anything. Or maybe I need to do something about it in iTunes connect I really have no idea! :D I'm a noob lol.

So I can partially understand the frustration, but not really to a full extent... Maybe let's call it sympathise at least. I'd be proud to develop a game that is even half as fun as this, you guys deserve to be taken seriously by apple :)

By the way that is my bad attempt at complimenting you :D

Well, maybe that rating is wrong also (haven't played that game). But, if you look at the actual description of the 12+ rating criterion, it pretty much fits this game to a T.

And that's also, for most people, the right maturity level too.

:)

Freaking cheap knockback moves.

Oh yeah, btw, pro tips for stage 19 as a warrior. Y'know, the one that might knockback, no aoe, no support skills other than the captain thingy.

Make sure you have Taunt. Taunt let's you kite things for a stupidly long time.
After getting four gold mines, kite them, and just rake in the money, and try to buy a good reinforced wall, two repairmen, and get a good amount of ballistas.

Then just max out wall defences, (Repairmen, and Wall) and also kill all ranged enemies. Ranged enemies are always top priority. Use Valiant Charge or the Circle slash if you have too.

1 - Get Gold Mines (4)
2 - Use skills except for taunt to kill as much mini-orcs as possible.
3 - Attack, Hero Strike, Attack for quick burst damage against Normal Orcs.
4 - Get a good wall, either stone or reinforced.
5 - Taunt when things are getting rough, and don't kill anyone, try to kite every enemy
6 - Build profit until you have Max Wall, Max Repairmen, and Max Ballistas
7 - Harrass Orc Warchiefs, and Orcs, with Death Charge. (Max Death Charge kills Orcs)
8 - Build Blacksmith, get Pikemen
9 - Kill Ranged Units first. Always. Risk your life to do it, because if you don't they'll kill you and your base anyways.
10 - Learn to use run to dodge, and advance your attacks.

:D

I maxed out Valiant Charge when I first played the game.

I don't even need to defend, I just Valiant Charge everything.

I think personally, get VC, Taunt, Max VC, get one HS, then max Taunt, then get some passive Heavy Armor.

You don't really want knockback for Knight, cause you either have to chase them, or lead them into the wall, then kill them.

Don't get the first passive just yet. And if you do, it better kill everything that does get knocked back, or else your life is ruined.

Just beat the number 1 guy, not sure if he does better with his other heroes, but he was too short sighted as a level 11 Mage ;).

What do you normally play?

I've been so obsessed with this RR3 debacle that I almost forgot that there is an awesome game by a spectacular developer just sitting on my device, ready to play at a moments notice.

Anyone up for some co-op?
