Yeah, I figured it out. I guess my internet connection was acting up on me, sorry for that, maybe next time
No, just no. Paladin, Engineer, so damn cheap. Knockback, you dead. Cause they keep knocking you back. Then they spam units, and everything you have gets eaten alive. Cultists are gone, not enough bearers to get offense going. Sh*t hits the fan...
My favorite tactic as a dwarf is to run up, shoot out the cultists, and see if I can draw the enemy out, if I can,I can use crackshot and might be able to kill him, if not i injure/knock him back enough so i can keep killing cultists. after a little while(very short time with the dwarfs wall discount) you can have have 4 mortar towers and forge- no where to hide, can't even stand up. I really think all of the good heroes have can't lose strategies against evil. I haven't really tried the warrior, but there was one warrior that charged me, and killed the tree and me in no time, even though i upgraded to mummy champ.
Also, for all my complaints about laggy multiplayer etc, I can't wait to see the new hero. I'm hoarding crystals to get all his outfits. Or her?! We really should have a heroine.
I can't stop playing co-op, it just never gets old. My Engineer is a killing machine, there is little more satisfying than having something lined up for every single shot, and at vectors to slaughter for those juicy crits. I can't believe how much fun it is teaming up with a random stranger, with no words of any kind I have seen awesome teamwork and courage in the face of Death. This engine is fairly robust, the only time you really push things too far is if you have a lot of smoke in your immediate vicinity - then framerate suffers badly. Otherwise, amazing code. Controls are just so tight in this game.
Hey guys, if you would like to add me on GC, please leave a message saying you're from touch arcade forums. I'm currently top in another game as well but I'm trying to stop accepting friend requests from that game so I might accidentally ignore your request if you use the default message.
Just smashed a level 75 paly. He came at me and went right for my cultist and me. I stood by the tree. He had his invulnerable equipped. After wacking all my guys, my tree he started to attack me. What he didnot know is I already had swords man, mushroom and armor ready to go. Once that invulnerable wore off I activated everything and after a couple hits it was over. I got some hate mail after saying I cheated and it was a hack being he died so fast. Lmaoooo. I love this game. Just curious how apple is letting people hack there leader boards. It sucks cause you can't get a accurate reading on where you stand. I can tell one and two are deff fake, but then the top player is at 1800. I wonder if that's legit. I know ivash quits when he gets evil cause he did it to me twice I think. SMFH
Lol you do realize the number one guy just posted above you?? And no good level 75 paladin would even bother to fight you, he'd just kill your cultists and run back. Wait like 30 sec to get invulnerable back up and do it again. No reason to kill the tree or you, he.ll have mortars/ballista up in no time after that and then it's game over. For some dumb reason despite already having range catapults proceed to keep moving closer to the enemy, putting themselves in mortar/ballista range.
In that big update Foursaken talked about I'd like to see new buildings - new towers AND the column on which you can build tower. -XX% building cost espec. as engineer you now have lot's of units and I'd like to spend money on buildings with him
Hey guys, any tips on how to build up your characters would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to mess up my guys. Do you pick up all the skills first? When do you upgrade your stats? So far the pally seems the easiest to play.
Definitely all skills first, they have the most impact. You can't really screw up since you can level up to 99.
So do you just put 1 point in all the skills first or do you max them all before investing in stats? I read some try to get 10 armor to prevent knockdown? It's really great that you can level to 99 but what if someone invests in damage for 99 levels vs someone who spreads out their points, will he be stronger? That's just the kind of thing that worries me.
Very true, although with each one there's a weakness that needs focus sooner rather than later(Mage and extra health, for instance). Identify where your heroes flaws are and add accordingly. For myself I prefer balancing everything with a slight focus on extra armor early on, and attack once the hero is able to hold their own. My levels: Pldin level 86 Engineer level 62 Knight level 61 Mage level 54 Ranger level 5 (find this one too weak in general to suit me)
Just played against you. I was preparing for the last stand (swordsman, mushroom, death strike, death charge) but those upgraded running peons totally screwed me up in the end.
Armor to 10 will help your experience early on to be a little less frustrating. A very good investment unless you're fine with being knocked down. And if someone goes heavy on damage then they're going light on other things that matter once you're 30 minutes into a coop game. Health, armor and crit matter a great deal when you're in a survival contest, with multiple enemies taking a swing at you from either side. Needing to run back to recharge every 60 seconds is a good way to not make any progress
