I told my Heroes of Chaos and Order (MOBA) ios game guild of about 160 people on glassboard that im in h+c and i got atleast 10 of them addicted now lol. im bad
So you lessened the mages abilities? idk, I think having the enemy hero being able to eventually buy resistance to just one of his spells(I mentioned only one type of armor in the post you replied to, as it wouldn't make sense to have both frost and flame armor) would be fair. So it wouldn't be all of his abilities, just one. Maybe they could just be active abilities and have them be temporary? Regardless it takes a while for an enemy to build up these abilities, so the mage would still have the same edge until then.
Oh wow. It wouldn't hurt to see things from another person's view. My view: played against you 6 times knowing I'm gonna lose anyway. That "good game" clearly sounded like sarcasm to me. When I wanted to play on the good side you disconnected right away. You should be able to understand my reaction.
I think for evil, unless they beef up the enemy hero or give you some way to focus your enemy units on the good hero, he can just kill your cultists with relative impunity. I think the enemy hero should have some abilities already equipped, especially when you have to pay to switch anyways.
Well, Primoz, it was not sarcasm. I really had fun playing you. I tried to have fun goofing around saying goofy things in game, so I don't take myself or my video game playing very seriously. It honestly was some of the most fun I've had online, for one, I know you know how to play well so I had to bring my A game. Then with you trying all those strategies and me trying to counter, I had a blast. I don't know why you'd say you played "knowing you're going to lose". You had me on the run a few times. Trust me, I've seen it from the other point of view. Like I said the great majority of my games have been as evil. I learned counter strategies by losing plenty of games.
Modern combat 4, NY zombies 2, and Heroes and Castles are my favourite games on iOS currently. Can't say enough good things about this game. Just a blast to play !
so far i have this: 28 pally, knight, engineer 18 ranger, mage leveling the mage and getting him through the campaign is a pain in the butt. he is sort of like the pally. his aoe attack is useful but not at low levels. too little damage. life tapping for spells is good, but i feel when my mage is high level with all of the talent and skills opened up, he'll be a true force. thinking a high level mage can aoe kill an entire batallion of ogre captains easy with combination of freeze trap, lightning. ranger's cc ability with shooting multishot plus through enemies and critting is great too but sometimes i can't get them all to line up and take the shot. at least with mage, it is a little messier, i just jump in, freeze, lightning! and i get health through health-back kills. just my two cents.

How do you beat level 19 with the ranger? I've tried all the strategies I know and they aren't working. Maybe I just suck as the ranger. Beat campaign with my pally and stuck on 19 with ranger and 16 with Mage. Seems ranged units give my Mage trouble.
is 16 the one with the introduction of goblin bombers and snipers? i just did that with mage after several tries. level was 16 - 18 for mage through those tries. i think i immediately went out and killed snipers and built mines and walls and then released giants to take care of wall units. i patrolled all over in midfield. if you have freeze and lightning... occasionally jump back towards wall of built up enemies and do freeze + lightning combo to kill all. if it is with skeleton archers... use arrow turrets! they are more efficient than wasting ballistas. i also have a legendary rune equipped (200 health + 20% unit cost) so that helps.
The one giving my Mage fits is level 17 I think. Tons of archers and the mummy king. My burn spell seems to miss my target half the time and if I leave to try and deal with archers I die. Archer is stuck at level 19. The strategies I use in that level with pally is not working with archer.
Just played against a lvl 17 Mage. He had 4 of those turtle warriors and all I had were cultists. I kept spamming goblins to keep his turtles entertained. Then, when he killed all my cultists he went to the tree to destroy it, what he didn't know though, was that I was secretly saving dark energy, until I had like 450 of it. Then I bough the mushroom skill, swordsman, death strike and death charge. When he came up to the three I spammed all those skills on him. He was dead in like 2 seconds. Bet he didn't saw that one coming
Anything with lots of skeleton archers I use archer towers. Usually gets the job done. I wonder how they decided on just throwing level 19 in that mix. like it doesn't flow right. it gets ridiculously easy after 21.
i just bought 150 crystals right now to see how many legendary i could get out of it. i had 160 total. after my initial, i ended up with 1 legendary, 12 rare.
yeah... this was my first legendary out of crafting runes. i just crafted 20 more runes... 1 more rare, no legendary. out of about 100 runes i crafted in my lifetime, i only got on legendary. - 4% unit cost + 100 starting gold kind of a whatever rune maybe? i have another legendary i got out of my first time coop -20% unit cost +200 health which is much better and works well with ranger and mage.
guys - did we come to a consensus as to which runes are the most useless? is it damage/armor/health/crit/gold?
