haha McGree get over yourself. You seem to assume I only play with ranger, and only on the good side. I guess your all knowing powers are blinded today. I would say about 50% hero 50% evil also split by various heroes. Good luck with, and enjoy being captain self justified, we all can see your flawed character and attempt at insult. Good luck with that, I'm off home to my gorgeous wife, day of work is done. Thanks Foursaken for your update there, and nice to know there is even more content to follow! Ciao
Vash, he had a good point... your posts DO seem condescending and e-peen. Doesnt matter how you justify it, most people would read it as that.
Both "sides" here seem pretty condescending and egotistical to me, whether it's winning with somewhat cheesy tactics or getting obsessed with the fact that someone else is winning with somewhat cheesy tactics.
Thats fine, they may Seem That way, although thy Do mostly Have An Underlining meaning that Apparently Was Lost. But They Way He Just Insulted Me instead Of The Many Other Ways It Could Have Been Said was just Weak. Pathetic In My Opinion, also turning This Thread Into Some Juvinile dispute, interesting. Either Way Doesnt Bother Me, would like To Focus More On Discussing The Game Though Mate.
Ok fair enough, game discussion: mage stacking armor after skills max? do tell me if viable, compared to stacking attack. Id like to try something other than the norm lol
Interesting idea. I planned on getting quite a high run number first, as being able to go to the backfield for a quick lightning storm and back is useful; but yeah I could see armour being valuable. As the Mage receives hp per second and sometimes after killing an enemy, increased armour essentially improves these passives. The 25 hp gained is worth 25 hits instead of 20, for example. Don't see a point in crit for the Mage and damage is less useful than other classes due to the character's active abilities. Health rises enough on its own, and as regen isn't % based, it doesn't matter a great deal. So yeah I guess run and armour are the way to go!
not complaining about single player balance here but is there any specific mob that you think should or could be nerfed and still have gameplay intact? personally i think it's the goblin bombers. for their level, they seem a little too strong with the bombs and taking out my gold mines. they come in droves too so even taking one of them out, the others always manage to destroy 1 to 2 gold mines, at least a 200 gold value, which i feel is too much. i hate snipers and skeleton fire archers too. actually i think i just hate anything ranged lol.
They could make a "easy" "normal' and "hard" modes... hard for those very high lvl who want challenge, normal is as it is now and easy for those who are young, inexperienced, bad or etc. would open up more of a market for potential customers ...
I think wraiths are the most overpowered. Maybe because my main is a Paladin, and they just destroy my ground units. Like after the 15 minute mark in endless/coop I have to be constantly aware of any wraiths on the map whilst I'm clearing catapults/archers/snipers. If one sneaks past, then bye bye pikemen/captains. I'm not suggesting they be nerfed, just think that they are the biggest game changers relative to how common they are. Hate goblin bombers too, of course!
Hear you. In coop always make sure at least one person stays behind and watch out for those suckers when you still have ground troops out there.
There's nothing quite so depressing as watching a maxed giant lumber up to a wraith and start doing *1* point of damage at a time.
Fours4ken Media: Would you consider letting us level up the Evil heroes same as normal heroes? And make a campaign for them? How about a Evil hero that is ranged? Give evil heroes some skill to start, unique to them?
He did mention giving them their own campaign... So i guess kinda like the desired Hero vs Hero thing.
Game Impressions I just start the "Brables" with my Ranger character, and the experience became horrible to me Every time i heat one enemy, a trap shows on the field and just doesn't feel right. The "Hunting Trap" its ok, you place that trap to the field and the enemies are stunned, but to see that trap every time you heat someone - what the hell?! Any chances to take that "brables" back from my caracter? I know my "problem" its stupid, but i really really love this game, and now im feeling horrible when im playing. i know there are a lot of other characters to play with, but believe me, i've played to every one of them. cheers.
No spread shot with fire arrow?? You gotta be kidding me. Have you guys tested the archer's performance in endless with those changes?
Likely not ever in this game (would have to be its own spinoff)... for a number of reasons. For one, it would mess with versus balance. Right now, because the evil heroes aren't persistent, we can ensure that every match is balanced (not including skill). Otherwise, you can only have 2 matchmaking scenarios with GC... match based on skill brackets, making it so as you rise up the leaderboards, it gets harder and harder to play at all because there will naturally be less and less players that high. OR, you have the scenario where anyone can match against anyone, and you have level 99 heroes vs level 1 heroes... not fun. The ability is just imbal on a platform like Ranger... if you think about the overall damage output fire arrows can put out with spread shot, its absolutely insane compared to similar abilities like Valiant Charge or Crack Shot... its just stupid. Ranger is supposed to primarily deal high damage to singular targets... right now thanks to fire arrows he can do that AND decimate entire hordes in a matter of seconds... effortlessly.
