It worked thank you I focused on getting +4 Gold, Rifles and Walls... got 2 ballistas up but the necros got em -_- anyways i left the troll alone, until i could stun him, once stunned i kept looking for necros and other stuff(stun troll, look for necros, once stun skill was up, stun troll again... rinse and repeat = sucess).... cleared level 20 no problem
19+ minute coop game results in common rune... LOL. My son and I were stuck on about 8 minutes tops for coop with his knight and my pally (both around 28 at the time), then out of the blue whatever we switched to doing worked and we lasted almost 20 minutes... Awesome game and it got crazy... my wife had to walk out of the room as we were yelling back and forth on what to do or get next. This game is AWESOME, but I was a tad ticked when all we ended up with was a worthless common and uncommon rune for our troubles.
So when is the update coming out? I just lasted 18 minuts as a level 33 engineer with a level 18 or so mage. We only stoppe because the connection for me stopped- like could move around, but couldn't do anything, all the enemies like stopped moving. I'm going to give up trying to play online for a while.
This is just conjecture, as I've never faced ballistas in vs yet.(the games don't last long enough for me) But don't they target high hp things? Just spam mummies do distract them- they only cause 50 gold.
Haven't had a crash since the update. I'm sorry to hear some of you still do, that's unfortunate. Wonder if I'm just lucky. On the flip side; I'm definitely unlucky with runes. Haven't had a crash, but also haven't had a legendary rune since the update, and I finished many 30+ min games in endless and co-op!
Had some epic vs matches, nice one against a paladin who leveled up and played things well. So far I pick only evil unless I get competed for it. I love how its such a rock paper scissor game. I've had no issues with rangers but I haven't met one that can kill the tree super quick. (Highest ranger I've beat was like 30)
Me either. I've had some laggy games, but that's to be expected. This game is more stable than most of my xbox games. Runes seem tough to come by. Legendaries, I mean. I'm sending you a PM. Maybe we can get some co-op going later.
So, I had a thought and I'm curious what you guys think... I was in a game with a high-level paladin last night. Co-op. I was playing as a level 12 ranger with a damage/armor rune, and to be honest, going the distance wasn't really my intention. I didn't think we'd get far and really didn't commit to units. I just wanted some level-up experience. I built walls and buildings, but really, I was just trying to inflict damage. The guy I was playing with was building tons of peons. I mean loads of them. He wasn't attacking, either. Just un-upgraded peons. I finally realized that he was prolonging the game, and thus, his leaderboard time. The peons hold off the bad guys but don't do much else. If we don't kill them, it takes a while. While I think this is a great strategy to help climb the leaderboards, it flys in the face of what I like about this game; being in the middle of the controlled chaos. Anyway, what are your thoughts on a kill-based leaderboard, or even a wave structure similar to CoD Zombies? I feel that it's far too easy to manipulate how long a game lasts if two people are on the same page. Shouldn't the reward be based on some kind of progress rather than the best stalling tactic? Just a thought.
It's hard to get mad at this game. BUT when you are a level 31 pally playing with a level 62 engy are working well with each other and get close to 20-25 minutes on coop and then CRASH IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME. I USUALLY GET A LITTLE MAD. Luckily I love this game too much and can't stay mad for long... Stupid IPod touch 4g.
We thought about that before release... maybe its just us, but in an Endless mode seeing that time is just so much more satisfying then a more arbitrary kill count. We may end up switching to a kill based ladder though, bc I do think there are some exploits that may never be solved otherwise. Out of curiosity, how long did you last just spamming peons? We penalize players for not killing many units with a huge catapult/troll wave... so you're probably crippling yourself more than anything else by not killing off units. P.S. I hate hackers... we're doing everything we can to add fail-safes to certain things, but unfortunately if someone wants to hack something, they WILL hack it no matter what. i.e. the #1 co-op time for one. also fought a level 30 paladin that took 1 damage no matter what (swordsman equipped skeleton with mushroom included), and dealt 3000+ damage to everything. Probably the same hack I experienced before where a level 7 Ranger killed my in 1 hit If anyone knows anything about this or figures this out, please PM me.
How awesome is it to gave a developer actually playing their game and talking about it on the forum? This game/developer are awesome! In other news, i sent a crash report, so hopefully we can kill the crashes!
Forsaken is there a limit on how much hp a mage can end up with during a game? Because after I hit around 2k or 1.5k hp I don't get anymore +25 Max hp messages and it doesn't seem to go up
What's the fastest way to level up characters? I have completed story mode with a couple characters and just want to powerlevel them to be more competitive.
