I found a +1 gold and +20 crit legendary rune Should i keep or is there something better out there? I'm using +1 gold per sec and -8% unit cost now Mostly play Ranger and stuck on lvl 20 campaign at lvl 14 hero
Spent $80 usd on runes and countless hours buy and sell em Wish there is a way to sell all normal, uncommon and rare runes Developer u want us to spent $ on runes gambling how about make it easier because it is tooooo time consuming now. Please
We upped the % chance of crafting legendary runes again for next update Other than that I can assure you nothing has changed about collecting runes, just legendary rates in co-op and endless. But I'll double check just to make sure. Remember... I know there are a lot of people who are used to getting Legendaries like they were candy before, but their original intent was to be REALLY rare... something that you might only get a few of the whole time you play... was never meant to be a piece of standard equipment I saw someone playing as Mage earlier in versus... man I love stomping everyone with Mage This hero is so versatile because of his long range burn spell, and great crowd control abilities. Just make sure to keep long bombing cultists and standard bearers with your burn to keep his eco in check, while using frost and his regular attack to keep your walls clear. Every once in a while venture out and unleash all of your spells to kill off as many cultists and standards as you can. If their hero dares to venture out, hit them with a nice 4 hit combo - burn, freeze, attack, burn for SERIOUS damage that can kill an unprepared hero outright. Conversely, if you're fighting a high level Mage, make sure to gear up on health, and maybe get the heal spell. A level 5 burn spell can be devastating if you're caught too far from your WormWood tree.
Just wondering... if a game crashes on you during co-op, do you keep the Xp you earned? Probably not, right?
That's true. But once you reach a certain level, burn can not kill cultists. So low level gives you more advantage. Whereas, and archer may not be able to kill cultists with one shot at lvl10, but he may be able to kill it at lvl 50, because archers can put a lot of sp into dmg, which increase the effect of marksman. The effect of mage's regeneration will just be useless when you have tons of hp. I remember when I was using the lvl99 engy, the minions had over 500 hp... and opponent starts with at least 500 gold, cuz i saw catapults within 1 min... engy could kill them because I had 240 dmg and 100% crit rate. but image how could a mage handle them? burn cant even kill a skelecton, frost has even lower dmg, lightening is just so unpredictable. So, how are we supposed to do pvp with mage at high lvls? hit them all with a stick? That's why I don't like pvp. At least, the skill dmg should go up with level or stats!
This is an awesome game that is out of my league. I can't progress at all. All heroes stuck at stage 11 and engy stuck at 16. Every building and unit maxed out and legendary runes seem to be a myth and the game To me seems as though the legendary runes are required to advance. Even grinding won't do me any good because it takes way to long to level up. Great game devs but I'm officially giving up.
Haha... I'd rather have all 6 abilities maxed out by far, rather than a level 5 mage that can burn a cultists in 1 hit I mean, somehow I just think that you fear playing against level 5 hero more than a level 80 hero... I know as Good I certainly wouldn't rather be a low level hero with less HP, less damage, and worse skills...
Great game! Anyone else experiencing a high rate of disconnects in multiplayer co-op? About 2/3 of my co-op games, my teammate disconnects, even when we are doing well. Could it be the game froze on them?
i have edited my post, just to say, yes you are right. maybe not a lvl 5, but i do fear a lvl30 a lot more than a lvl80. against a lvl30 you start with about 300 gold, and lvl80 i guess 800? that makes huge difference, because the opponent will always start with 30 gold. I dont complain about PvP, i'm at 37:1, really not much i should complain about. and i just tried my lvl23 mage in PvP, takes longer than an archer, but much more fun. What im saying is that, the increase rate of strength is quite different across these classes! so at level, let's say 80+, mage will be a lot weaker than other classes, because it's main dmg output will stay the same as lvl30...
Sorry, couldn't resist. I've deleted already as much as I like the game it's making me more frustrated than anything (I'm a failure) and a quitter
Just got enough crystals for the Mage,This has just made one of my favorite classes. He attacks extremely fast.
I thought exactly the same thing about the Mage. Scaling damage with your own damage or level makes perfect sense to me. There's a reason every mmo/rpg does that. Just trying to provide constructive criticism of course. I still love the game and appreciate all of Foursaken's efforts.
Wow, same with me . I thought it's my connection problem.. or maybe like you said.. the game froze on the player.. *sigh*
I think level 11 is the one with the goblin guys throwing the bombs at your keep - you got to get out there and kill there as fast as they show up. You can repair your wall all you want, even send out units after the guys battering your wall, but you will keep losing until you take out those goblin bombers. Once you realize that is what you have to do, the level is so much easier to beat.
Eh I don't care about pvp at all, maybe eventually but it seems like there might be some imbalanced stuff out there (like cultist being your base's front row vs good's mines behind a wall), rather play siege with evil side for now . I do have one question tho, about the xp gaining rate. My ranger lvls up faster than, say, my engie. Also, 9/10 times I lvl up after hitting an enemy (not killing, just hitting). So is the hero dmg to an enemy relevant to xp gaining? Should that be this way? I mean, I like playing Paly just babysitting my heroes and not hitting anything, and well as Engie I have to turtle behind walls not attacking stuff now and then, if that affects the xp gaining rate of something that is essentially a *tower* defense, it is just weird. I'd love to read about the logic behind this.
Ranger Am I the only one who thinks the Elven Arrow ability is kinda useless? Archers are weak and Longbeards don't affect Arrow towers. First of all its only really effective against weaker foes and secondly, Its more like a gamble because by the time it recharges, you'll have to buy a whole new set of archers . The ranger is still a really cool class IMO just want to find out a few things: -Are the bonuses from Longbeards and Captains Tents included in the Elven Arrow boost? -What's the best way to use this ability?
