What level did you get your Mage to and what times are you getting in endless with it? Im in the process of getting my ranger up there, barely touched the Mage, but I'm having second thoughts as I already have a high level engy.... thought about maybe using the Mage for my melee fix, but it seemed a bit all over the place the little time I used it.
How about a visible timer on screen? Really hope the game is making business sense for Foursaken - and they can support it for years to come when we've all got iPhone 27S or the new semi-mini iPad 15 : that's in between size of iPad mini and iPad!
Bro you are not alone. I mentioned that to them in a private message asking if they could increase the screen area for the auto movestick. Not sure if I got their attention though.
This was odd. Edit: I tried to post a pic of what was odd. Obviously it didn't show up. Any advice on uploading screenshot from an ipad? Not working out for me. Anyway, a guy I beat showed he had over 100 million rp.
Last night I had a great game (can't remember who it was against) but they were evil and I was good and it was just a huge stand off, I stayed in the castle and they stayed back both just sending troops at each other. It was a pretty epic battle until I sent a load of giants his way and won
Yep, agreed! I happened to find a legendary water rune in the co-op like on my third try, and equipping it to the mage is a match made in heaven. and those turtle things are so tough that only use one a level usually, and it's almost aways alive at the end.
Hey, new here, big fan of the game. Maybe it's just that I'm using him wrong, but the ranger just doesn't seem nearly as good as the other heroes. I was really surprised with how much fun the mage is, but sadly the Ranger isn't as much. Should I be focusing on units with him? Or buildings? He seems to die really easy when he leave the keep, unlike the dwarf. and the elven arrows thing doesn't seem that useful. it doesn't last any longer when upgraded, and the cooldown is so long that my archers and arrow towers die in the meantime. The tree is cool, but he's pretty expensive.
This is my problem as well. If you get near the paladin he just knocks you down and never lets you up until you die. if you try to stay back and build up you forces you even get a swarm of pikeman to destroy you. Siege is no fun for me.
Envy all those who manage to play online. Internet connection on my end (Philippines, well not everyone in the Philippines does internet suck) sucks so bad.
Ah you like that idea, I think it's needed. Even if only in a small portion to focus the game play more on the handling of building and units rather then rush....at least for a minute or two As for counters there is no counter for archer except making the tree untouchable for a short time. Even then to balance it I'm not sure what the plan would be after that. As archer game starts, I don't build anything because, what's the point? I activate fire arrows and walk towards the tree while shooting at it, 4-5 arrows and it's down. Then if the enemy hero is new he may run towards me and die pitifully before ever reaching me. Otherwise he may hide behind the cosmetic tree near the wall and the now dead tree, however in those 4-5 shots I have made it over there and commence shooting him and he also dies pitifully. The time frame for this on average is 24 seconds. There is nothing you can do, you can't run...snare/stun/knockdown. Even without those you can aim and shoot anyway, you can't get to me to do damage. I I'm #10 on the leaderboards I-Vash, hit me up foursaken, ill happily show you how futile it is as evil in this scenario. To new players, no matter what you face, spend the first 4 mins or so (if you survive) staying back with your hero and focussing a steady stream of units and resources!
The key here is upgrade and level up. Archer to me is far superior to all heroes, but you need to level up, max his skills and boost his damage and armour (10 is the sweet spot) to be perfect. Lets not forget every level up gives damage and crit% Fire arrows can clear a whole wall of units, when the shit hits the fan you can pop long beard and archers, then use elvan arrows all within a few seconds and see a massive boost to total dps right when you need it. Doesn't cost much an anything else you buy will die anyway and do the same or less as well as cost allot more. Shoot shoot shoot and keep shooting, focus on the right targets and shoot as far as you can as often as you can thanks to increased damage with distance. Pesky catapult? Not for archer, maybe 3 shots at max range There's allot more to this class, but I'm going to let you find out the rest. I tried Mage, found it a wrecking ball, but archer has a much higher capacity for death in my opinion.
Being a ranger, you shouldn't really put yourself in the position to get killed easily. Sure, ranged units are a bother, but you can take them out with a few aimed shots.(catapults are super easy to kill with him. At the beginning, I buy 2 gold mines(i have a +1 gold rune), while shooting at the oncoming enemies. You should stay by the gates, and focus on one enemy at a time, so they can get close to you(brambles help with this). I repair the walls a few times, upgrade to stone, and save up for a treeman. Upgraded, those things are tanks. Just keep wraiths and ranged units off of him. After that, spawn a bunch of archers or treemen. That's my strategy. Now for the ranger and his skills. •Fire arrows are perfect for clearing walls of enemies or even while kiting. Crits and spreads are devastating with the penetration. •Hunting traps are good for clusters of ranged units in the backfield. You set one down, it goes off, and they can't shoot you while you pick them off. You can also use it along the wall, which will take out the groups. I'd also think in a doomed situation, like getting abandoned in co op, you could set them up in the castle to buy you a minute or two. •Elven arrows are really good if you have a bunch of archers. I use it when the wall is covered, or a big wave of enemies are coming. •Marksmen is awesome for ranged units that are visible. Catapults go down really fast. Spread is good for when you are getting a little close range, because the three arrows land on the same target, dealing x3 damage. Not usually good for farer(far-er? More far? Idk) shots because there's not a big chance of them hitting something. •Bramble is good for the stun, and slowing the kamikaze goblins before you have the damage to one hit them. There's that. Over time I'm sure my strategy and insights will change, but I'm not typing this again. Btw you can shoot the tree down pretty easily in vs.
oh to the person who asked a few pages back(can't remember where), for the mage, get each active ability rank 1 and then the passive ability that increases your max health as you are damage to start out with. If you've obtained a water rune(which regenerates hp automatically while running around) then you probably won't have to worry about the other passive abilities for a while. I leveled up the lighting first, that makes orcs and Mummies really easy to deal with, as you can kill them just by running around them. As for units, maxing out the turtle unit is a good idea, as they are cheap and really durable, great for clearing the wall of straggler and in general keeping people out of your hair. then I mostly focus on ranged units to supplement the spell damage. The burn spell is fantastic for armored units and necromancers, if you level it a bit you can set them on fire and run away they'll die by the time they get to you. The ice spell is necessary, for dealing with swarms of units and getting away from a crowd, delaying trolls and orc champs while your ballistas take them out etc. Anyways mages are tons of fun. Maybe they don't require much skill, that's why I like them so.
Oh, and no offense intended, but I think the ice effect from the mages spell looks a bit odd- it's bright blue where most of the other colors are muted in the game for realism or whatnot. Perhaps it should be paler/more translucent. Just a thought.
I've been matched with you twice, and both times you've disconnected before the game starts. The game keeps going until I forfeit, which gives you the win. Guessing your #10 isn't completely legitimate? Haven't had this problem with anyone else.
On my screen it's you that disconnected, and I don't get any points for that. This seems to happen rarely, I would suggest your net is unstable? Or the games net code isn't fully bug free yet. 99% of my games feature fully moving and unit spawning evil heroes. 100% legit thank you, an it's #6 now
I get a loss on my GC, so the win has to go somewhere? I'm still in the game, racked up 6k+ gold so far, annoyed that my 1 loss was because I forfeited before so we'll see how long this can go on...
Yea one of my losses was due to the same thing, only happened like that once to me though, the other times it says the player disconnected after a few minutes and ends the game, but with no points awarded.
