Wait, explain? I think I'm missing the point again. What do you mean by "it will eventually be nerfed or changed" I'm all for exposing exploits for the purpose of making developers aware, but we're already two steps past that. They have already submitted a hotfix update, and they're working on buffing the wall even more. At this point, we're just making things worse by publicizing.
Huh. I'm using a 1hand sword because I'm dealing far more DPS than my twohander, especially considering my current 1hander has 25 damage and +10% Crit chance, whereas my current twohander has 40 damage + Slow attack speed modifier.
I really wish an equipped shield together with a 2-handed weapon will affect the damage of skills. Right now, skills deal max damage based on the 2-handed weapon's damage regardless of the one handing penalty.
Onehander: 96 DMG Twohander: 94 DMG 2 less damage, but I forgot that the twohander in question is actually a hammer, not a sword. If it were a greatsword, then it'd end up potentially better (As in, it has enough damage with the penalty factored in so that I do not need to actually twohand the bloody thing)
Immediately made sense when you mentioned Hammer. They have very low damage. They do have innate knockback ans stun i think which makes up for the damage, but i personally dont think isnt a worthy tradeoff.
Yeah... Shoulda mentioned that to begin with, eh? But seriously, though, it's not, especially for a Knight. If I were specced to do extra damage with hammers, THEN it would've MAYBE been worth the trade, but that's still rather subjective at best, whereas my Swordsman spec still remains as the top over the hammer one.
Well, neither the crit nor the knockback carries over to the sword strike damage... And how are you even able to sword strike with hammers?
Im assuming the crash fix you speak of fixes the game crashing on an iphone 5? I cant finish a mission on my iPhone 5 without the game crashing. I can claim territories, but can't fight in castle defenses or it crashes. And no, i havent read anything on this thread. Its too long ._.
Sword Strike works with all melee weapons iirc. It's listed in the Abilities menu, and it is usable with all melee weapon types, and this includes staves (The melee ones, anyway, I know for certain. Don't know about the Projectile Staves.)
Interesting, I guess I never bothered to try after the initial attempt with a bow... "must use appropriate weapon!" Nevertheless, as you gamble more weapon, you'll find that 2 hand swords are the best source of raw damage.
I already found so, don't you worry about that. It's just rolling a good one with 50 or so damage... Something that my luck won't permit, sadly. And what's even more sad about that is that I have over 100 crystals I've been re-roll-chaining on as well. Been three attempts, and all the swords I got only ended up with 30-40 damage. >:|
Two hand swords seem to be extremely difficult to find. None of the classes seem to have a priority for it... Nevertheless, you should have no problem finding 60 damage ones. It's the 100+ that are truly difficult. 100 crystals is nothing, you'll need to reload upwards of 100000 crystals to more reliably get what you want. Honestly, I feel like icloud reloading is the only way to even remotely get close to good gear. It's pretty much impossible to do it 100% legit without thousands of dollars. I've already spent maybe $60-70, even then I'm reloading like nobody's business.
Well, there is the upcoming quality refinement update to help solve that solution. Waiting for that to pass on through... Well, that is, once Apple pushes this update out of submission hell.
So far, that's only tweaking the balance of the weapon stats (mostly due to stamina being valued incorrectly), not so much the % chance of weapon type. It could be that 2 hand swords were intended to be a lot rarer than the 1 handers. Ahh, I still remember I rolled a 143 damage sword but ended up reloading because I was looking for a scythe at the time... if only I knew dwarves were better...
