3 Pathfinders on the ground and filling the rest up with Fire Mages deals the most damage because of the multipliers from the Pathfinders and the AOE of the fire mages in addition to their high single target damage. On the wall, Ice Mages are essential in wave 30 because all the Trolls are melee and slow, so an AOE stun with high damage output setup works best. In addition to the ground units, Ice Mages need Greybeards and Elven Snipers to deal the most damage. In this setup, Snipers also help you take out annoying catapults, and they one-shot the Mad Docs from afar as well, making sure that when the Trolls are close they dont receive the invulnerability buff that the Mad Docs provide.
Quick question... Do the research upgrades that improve units affect existing units? So if I research longbows, does it upgrade all the archers I've already built, or just new ones?
Does anyone know of a skill guide (explanation on each skill and its effectiveness) for Grandmaster or Ranger on the internet?
really? haha... i've been WAITING for longbow research to complete before even buying my first archer. in this case, i should spam buy archers before the price hike to 25 if the existing archers will get the +750 bonus! also forsaken: what does forceful blow mean? a quick request to put on your super long list of possible change/fixes. 1) please change treasure hunting. if we have to hunt, in some areas like fog or dense foliage, please add maybe a bright light shining up towards heaven)))) 2) please allow us to remove/sell standard equipment. it takes up space, it is an eyesore and i'm stupid like that.
Well, this game was a waste of money. It was cool but now after wave 2 it won't let me click on the map or start the next wave. Please fix this!
Ha. Just conquered the whole map (except Scarwood) and I'm still at wave 18. And currently have 470 Crystals and about 160 items.
Have you tried reconfiguring the button position under options? You can also reinstall the game, you're still at wave 2...
Forceful blows is a chance for an attack to deal heavy knockback - I think its force value is not what it should be right now though >_< 1. Low priority But we'll see about doing something... 2. We need to make sure you can't get stuck in a scenario where you have no equipable weapons... you'd be surprised at what people will do. I know there are other ways to do this, but its also pretty low priority and actually more work then you might think But I'll put it on our todo list. Are you sure you're completing the tutorials? You won't be able to progress until you do. If thats not the problem, what is the issue - no "next wave" button?
Well there is no next wave button and when I talk to the other people in the castle they tell me I have other things to attend to. I just finished wave 2 and I have no clue what I am supposed to do
thanks for the answers i always keep bugging everyone only because this is really the only game i play religiously since... well, heroes and castles 1. haha. i want it to be the best. also i regret putting skill points into imbued cape. whats the point when capes are so rare... or even worse, if i find a cape armor but my regular armor is already legendary and better.
At the blacksmith you can merge two items of the same type (human armor in this case) so that both disappear and a new one appears with the stats of one and the look of the other. Just don't mix them up in the wrong way.
That's why there's a blacksmith. If you talk to him, he has an option to forge items for you. Meaning you can combine the stats of one item with the looks of another.
It sounds like the concern is having a hero with nothing equipped, correct? As in, what will the game do if you hit attack but have no weps equipped? So can't you just make it so you can't sell equipped weapons/armor?
It seems the people who don't like this game and talk bad about it are the ones that Just can't figure out what to do even in the beginning.... Haha yikes
Aren't you supposed to visit Scribe or the guy who upgrades your units? Or maybe castle engineer .. Don't skip tutorial
