The graybeard thing is a bug - the fix should be in this update. Yep... I guess we should make that more clear somewhere. Enemies have armor piercing as well, which lowers the chance that your armor will prevent a hit. Just waiting on Apple now... Anyway, I'm not going to be going back and forth anymore with rationale until the update is out. Once it is, we'll deal with underpowered stuff on an ability by ability basis.
Fair enough on no more back and forth until release. My balance point was not "you should have perfect balance before release." It was "balance level of mages should feel like mages" should be established before release. Good to know that half of abilities with durations (the magic item drops) won't count. Last point. While the cool down system encourages players to rotate abilities, your newly implemented system encourages batch use of abilities. If a player has two duration abilities and plays one, waits for it to end, and then plays the other, he takes the double duration no regen hit. If he plays them both at the same time, he only gets the hit from the longer of he two. Choice is restricted in either case.
how have your strategies or success for elven vs human healers? i have them both maxed but but don't really see a benefit to either. i always recruit both in battle just in case. also i never seem to get healed by either one of them!
Priest is a life saver when your hero runs out of HP for it gives instant HP no matter the distance. But it only heals the hero. Elven healer only heals your units. In most cases I only use them when I feel it's really necessary. Also priests walk away while elves stay at your castle.
thanks! this totally changed the way i play them. the entire time i thought they both healed both me and the units.
I always like support/medic role and am enjoying the Paladin's ability to heal nearby soldiers. I've gotten it up to +5 and I think it makes a big difference!
1) what is forceful blows chance? 2) does increased mobility mean my person runs faster naturally (without dash)? i have two new armors and not entire sure if the legendary beats the epic. legendary +28 arm +67 HP +27% mobility +20% forceful blows chance epic +36 arm +42% mobility + 20 extra melee damage
No and no. They are as they are called. I have a rune that increase spear damage. I havent seen a scythe damage rune thoughh.
Nope. Thought I had it too, but my walls just gave out too quickly.., in retrospect, instead of repairing so much at end should have kept creating damage dealers. Was so close, these five dudes were worn out. I'd like to actually beat it before the patch so I can declare myself hardcore haha
3 pathfinders, knights, snipers and greybeards plus an elf grandmaster on overdrive are how i did it.
I have a shield with scythe damage. I was wondering why certain weapon classes don't have passive skills. Not having a % bonus seems to make them weaker. Both!
i had a good laugh. one of them is straight up looking at you like "yep, what you gonna do now, bitch." i'm not even that far along in the game yet i don't even know what those black monsters are called.
thanks PG and EPISCIENCE and elsa, you guys are pretty helpful with all my newbie questions. what is a forceful blow chance? is that a knock down? also do we have a max amount of skill points we can allot by the level cap? or can all skill trees be filled out.
Yeah I tried to avoid reading solutions to how to beat it and had it whooped until the last rush, dang it. I ran a lot of pathfinders and mages, grey beards and snipers and captains... That's who I had defaulted to for tougher guys most of the game and thought it would give me my best shot. They were all wipes out, though. I want to solve this puzzle! I'm sorry, I should have spoiler'd that shot. I just thought it was pretty funny. I'd run grandmaster all wave 30 and he got bamboozled just before this, my ranger was my last hero so I tried! Cutting arrows at 150hp an arrow almost did it'
chombiekay, I believe the mobility stat refers to one of two things. It either refers to how fast you recover your stamina or the total amount of stamina that you have. Remember, the amount of stamina you have determines if you can dash, how long you can run and if you can produce a heavy attack. I've always had mixed feelings about the mobility stat. My opinion was that if I produced higher damage or had higher armor then I didn't need mobility because I'd either eliminate enemies very quickly (high damage) or enemies would be unable to hurt me because of the high armor rating. On the other hand, it gets annoying when you want to run and you quickly run out of stamina. Stamina also determines the strength of your regular attacks (no stamina or little stamina equals really poor damage). It's an interesting system because you really have to juggle multiple variables and certain attributes are better in certain scenarios. I keep a few rare/epic items for each piece of equipment that highlight different attributes.
Wave 10 help please! Tips to beat wave 10? I get overwhelmed to quickly with the skeleton captains, can take the first one down but the rest of the army hits the walls, and I can't get enough units out, thanks all!
The mobility stats increases your hero's speed AND stamina regen. I love it with my elf grandmaster. Currently at +95% mobility I think. I can sprint everywhere crazy fast and with low stamina weapons my stamina never drops as i swing both melee weapons endlessly.
The level cap is 99 so you'll have 98 (or 99?) skill points available if you reach the highest level. Which is nowhere near enough to max out all skills of all 3 classes. I've earned about 300 crystals today :O (without buying them and without any achievements or selling items)
