Never played the first one, is this much like bug heroes 1&2? I really like those ones and all of FM's titles so it's an instant buy for me also (surprise) but I'm just curious what's the difference besides having an army of guys with you while defending your base?
H&C and BH have a lot of similarities. For the most obvious ones, H&C is more focused on recruiting units to fight for you (while you fight as well), and that resource gathering is generated by your bannermen, unlike in BH where you have to pick those up at random spots. Another huge difference which is unique to H&C2 is the huge amount of character customization, with each piece of equipment you use changing your appearance.
Anyone else think that the visual effect of the dirt kicking up around the hero after each and every attack, to be a bit (actually, VERY) annoying? It's distracting and looks pretty bad, to be honest. Forsaken, any plans to remove or drastically reduce and randomise this weird effect? :/
It's bc you actually can do a mini dash while shuffling your feet when attacking. I believe it only kicks up dirt when you're moving and attack (the dash gets bigger as your mobility improves). If it's kicking up dirt while stationary, that's probably a bug.
@Foursaken Media: are there any H&C2-related artwork I might use for the wiki? A logo to replace the drab text in the upper left hand corner, in particular, would be a nice boost in wikisexiness.
Yeah that sucks... but we did say as much from the beginning! You just never know how the files will mesh between beta and release versions when that much stuff changes >_< Let me know if you have any issues after starting fresh. I'd be curious to know if any other testers have the same issue upgrading from beta to release.
I really wish someone uninformed would make a video preview and have ZERO idea how to play or lack any knowledge in general about common movement schemes or going through tutorials in mobile games. Man, would be Instabuy for me if such a video existed.
Oh rad! That's a perfect file size...not super hefty like some games *cough* (Infinity Blade III) *cough* Thanks FM! So stoked to get my hands on this baby!
