    Actually you need only at least 3 pathfinders, then focus on researched mages. With ice mages and fire mages you have AOR stun and AOE damage for easy cleanup. You'll only need 2-3 ice mages as well to make room for 3 snipers and 3 graybeards.

    Oh my... I accidentally downloaded the save from the cloud and reset a few levels for my characters, but realized i have all my available gems back. This easily opens the game up to roll abuse.

    Foursaken needs to put up a fix for this, or the whole random craft system becomes moot.

    The Knights heavy armor skill says that it increases based on if you have a set of armor. Can someone clarify this for me? Do I have to have the same prefix on my shield/weapon/armor to get the benefit?

    Are the captains summoned from the leadership skill counted towards the unit population?

    Btw is anyone else experiencing lag spikes when a captain kills a mob? Every time I have a full army and his buff goes off it lags.

    That's the first thing I realized when I saw that there is a save feature and that the game doesn't save automatically all the time.

    Some more bugs:
    - sometimes you can walk trough the enemies' outpost gate
    - after finishing wave 5 you can go into the enemies outpost and destroy that skull tower. The 6th wave can be finished in seconds. However all sorts of problems start appearing if you go directly into wave 7 after that, like you can't walk trough the castle gate that you are supposed to and there are double walls. One of the walls is real and one of them has no collider and enemies (and the hero) can walk right trough it after the real wall is destroyed.

    I wish there was an on/off feature for pausing the game. For example, I don't want the game to pause whenever I tap the research/units/active skill button.

    Sometimes bannermen decide to move very closely together and will become very vulnerable to splash damage. Now that you can't move them anymore, there's no fix for that. I think there's nothing wrong with moving them, just don't let them be pushed back into the castle.

    That seems like a fix that's going to hit all sorts of stuff that didn't need fixing. Sure, things like Fortify and Holy Shield needed nerfs, but what about other duration abilities? Stalwart Defense, for example, gives you one really high power attack and then you can't regen any mana for a long time. Is that working as intended?

    This is going to ruin any build that focuses on buffing allies and leave untouched any build that just does direct damage to enemies, to the detriment of playstyle variety.

    I strongly agree. Plus, it will feel like getting punished for putting points into skills with increasing durations. The longer a skill is active, the more trouble you'll have when your mana runs out and after like 20 seconds, which can be a long time in-game, you realize that you must use another skill to survive. Also you can't even use Arcane Magic if your mana is below 5 and not growing.

    a couple of questions

    1.how can I get experience more? killing monsters by hero or units?

    2. what better weapon for a paladin? and what are the stats on a weapon is better (AP,crit,damage)

    3. what stats are better for paladin armor? thanks
    4. And what skills is best of knight, paladin, dwarfs classes. Like skill grandmaster "matrix

    I stand corrected about treasure hunting. I can get tedious if there are like four-five places that you have to search for treasure for after coming back from a mission. I'll still do it though for the love of the game

    Here's a fix for the perma-chain of abilities: cooldowns for an ability don't start until after duration expires. You'd still need to fix Steadfast Defense and perhaps a few others (I don't think Bark Armor or Elven Arrows are OP in their current iteration), but at least you wouldn't destroy the very concept of buffing.

    My only complaint about this game is the font. It's driving me crazy. Dev, please consider adding a setting for an easier to read font. :(

    Awesome Game - Quick Questions

    This is my 1st time posting here.
    Must say, what an amazing game Foursaken has given to us for very little money.

    I'm on about Wave 7 and have a Paladin build.
    I once was able to use his Retribution ability at a cost of 30 mana.
    My question is, how do I know how much mana I have? Is there an icon for this in the HUD or whatever you guys call it?
    Also, I won and then lost Varle Monestary which means that I have lost the Priest.
    Do I have to retake this to get the Priest back since it is currently showing a difficulty of 16/20 which is gonna be way too hard for me at the moment.

    No Sound After Incoming Phone Call

    @FM - I found a bug that you may not know about.
    When playing the game and then accepting an incoming call (iPhone 5S), when I go back to the game after the call, there is no sound at all.
    A minor bug but would be great if you fixed since for me, the music and soundbites make up some of the best parts of the game - I need to know when my Bannerman is under attack of course! :)

    Also just wanted to say what an epic game you've created here, absolutely love it even though am finding it tough.
    Can't wait to play the Coop multiplayer with my mate :)

    Just to let you know, I've been playing this since release on the highest settings and have not experienced any crashes yet.
    It has run perfectly for me.

    There are 4 diamond shaped things on the top left of the screen when you are in a battle. The first one (red) is health, the second one (cyan) is mana, the third one (purple) is stamina and the fourth one is block time (yellow).
    Yes, you will have to re-take it in order to be able to summon the Priest again. You must always defend an outpost as soon as possible (at least at the start of the game) otherwise the difficulty of defending or taking that outpost will ramp up quickly and you might get stuck in the game as you won't be able to conquer anything. I suggest you concentrate on other territories for now and remember to defend them as soon as possible. Once you'll have a solid army and a good character you'll be able to take this 16/20 outpost.

    It regenerates slowly, and some skills help you regain it faster.

    A few questions for you H&C2 gurus:
    1) Does the Greybeard bonus stack? If so, how high? The Captains clearly state "Stacks up to 7x". This should be stated clearly in their info.
    2) How exactly does WS (weapon skill) work? Is it a percent? ie. 50 WS is a 50% chance to block a melee attack? Does it only work for melee attacks from the front?

    Greybeard's Damage Bonus does not stack. He's a Wall Unit, and therefore works differently than Captains.

    Weapon Skill, like Armor Pierce, is a percentage, and only works on frontal attacks from my experience.

    Graybeard bonus actually stacks, myndflame is wrong. When you have 2, it doesn't look like getting more is worth it, but try 3 or 4 at once and you'll see the effect. You can have 5 or 6 out at once I think (you'll not be able to buy more just like bannerman). He increases dmg by 125% but to simplify it, let's count with 100% instead.

    1gb 100%
    2gb 200%
    3gb 400%
    4gb 800%
    (...)

    The captain "stacks up to 7 times" is for one captain - after 7 kills he can't buff more, but you can hire another captain with another 7 kill cap

    Try max greybeards with a few archers ;)


    2)
    The game compares WS of your hero and an unit that attacks you. The bigger the difference, the greater chance to parry. I think it works from behind as well - At least I have seen it, but there might be a penalty to your WS
