1) Pretty sure it's an exploit. I do it all the time. 2) No. But certain enemies will attack your hero first, so you can step behind the unit you want killed, so the unit is between you and the enemy. 3) No. 4) You can only remove researches that are not yet completed. After the timer is over you are stuck with it. I think it would be pretty cool if you could remove a research even after it is completed, but it's effect would be lost and you couldn't use that research in that battle again.
My human warrior is level 40 and I am at wave 23 , so I have played many battles and found lots of chests. However, I only found two Rare weapons, nothing better than that. I used many crystals on the blacksmith and just got common items. It's just too hit and miss. With me ....mostly misses.
I just got an epic 20% sword damage rune. However, when I equip it, it doesn't show the bonus damage. Is this intentional? Are there only certain swords that fit the criteria because I'm dual wielding? I also have a 15% 2 hand sword rune. Would this apply if I dual wield 2 2-hand swords?
That's literally impossible. They may not be specifically what you're looking for, but they are definitely better. I'd love for you to post the stats (of the same weapon type, for comparison purposes) of a common that is better than a legendary If you don't mind, feel free to post the stats of the epic vs legendary as well. Its using GC, same as the first. We may be looking into an alternative, but no word on that yet. Also, you might be surprised to know that only 3-5% of players fire up an online mode when available (on mobile) at least once. Far less than that regularly play. For a paid game (less users) that just launched last week, it is true it may be difficult to always find a game. We're hoping once we release the free version, that should help grow the multiplayer user base a bit.
It is applying; specific damage runes won't show (only general stuff shows on the stats). Yes, it will affect any and all swords, dual wielded, etc.
There's a way to kind of circumvent the balanced RNG of the blacksmith's shenanigans. It's a boring task, though, and may not be worth the effort unless you're desperate with little crystals to spare. You'll need access to iCloud, though. Not a great method either, but it works. With at least 3 crystals, upload your save to iCloud and craft anything from the blacksmith; do one or two crafts and if you don't like them, download your file from iCloud and repeat when needed. The loading takes a brief moment, but eeeeehhh, even I'd rather just lose a wave. Even though it makes defending outposts harder for me later on. Tried this a couple times, doing two crafts before I consider reloading my game. Got a common pick and a rare repeater rifle respectively on my fourth reload. Managed to get a decent weapon from 6 crystals. The previous tries were a bunch of flimsy commons and uncommons that I didn't like. Just make sure your iCloud isn't set in automatic, to be safe. Again, not great, but it's viable.
I think that idea to give the player "a break" is very silly. It's just a waste of time. IF anything they should put some mobs there defending the treasure
Its just a little something extra to do. At what point do you just make everything simply "tap to complete"?
Oh yeah, for anyone that got their game stuck on a wave without the battle button and was unable to continue, Connor wanted me to ask some questions... - if you go to options and edits control layout, does it show attack button? - if not: revert + save - if so: save - is it still gone after above? - did you recently replay history? - did you play any multiplayer? - does you use multiple heroes in one battle? - does the map show 0 days left on your main castle, via arrows on the map image AND the top left area? - do you remember if the button ever showed up (before countdown was at 0)? - if you go to another owned land (without a mission), and then returns to base, is the button still gone? - still gone after restarting device?
I restarted the game about 5 times now, because some info after completing a wave can't be accessed ever again. I'm doing it for the sake of the wikia page, cut me some slack. Anyway, I'll play the game without this exploit after I get back on track with the current save file. It's a glorious exploit though haha
I'll answer the questions that I remember Yes. No. Yes. It never showed up after the main wave. Yes. Yes. I even reinstalled the app, but the button was still gone after I downloaded the save from iCloud. I didn't try editing the control layout though.
You can't perform certain active skills without the right weapon type. Can't say about the specific case you are asking about though.
When it actively detracts from the experience. Right now finding treasure on a foggy or rocky map is about as much fun as looking for the keys my four year old hid when I'm trying to leave the house. Game playing happens in my free time, of which there isn't much, and the treasure hunt is the only part of the game I feel like I'm wasting rather than spending. But with how random the Blacksmith is you really feel like you gotta spend the time looking, since you're likely to get either a random drop or 1-2/3s of one in crystal. And what if I skip it and miss the mysterious anvil? Honestly, why have it be "tap" at all? You give the crystals from holding territories without asking us to go find a funny looking rock and press a "swing pickaxe" button. Automated treasure would let me get back to Heroing and Castling, which, honestly, is why I played Heroes and Castles I and am playing II.
Can you explain a bit how damage calculations work then? There seems to be a lot of different factors at work here, especially when dual wielding: +dmg - I assume this is flat damage, damage that is added to both weapons +% weapon type - I assume this is % of weapon damage. If so, is this before or after the 1 hand penalty? ie if it is a +100 damage 2 hand sword, would 20% be +20, or +10 because of penalty? Does offhand vs primary affect the way damage is calculated? Dual wielding 2 swords one way, then swapping the two swords primary/offhand affects the stat screen, but does it actually matter? In addition, if you dual wield say one weapon has 30% crit chance and 10 damage, while another has 50 damage and 0% crit, and the stat screen would show 30 damage and 15% crit chance (the average of the two), what does this mean in practice? From the description, I take it to understand that each sword still has its own properties, so the 50 damage sword CANNOT crit. If this is the case, then blending a high damage low mod sword with a high mods low damage sword does not make any sense despite what the stat screen says.
