Got some massive sword for my knight, shield... Hit my first 1000+ hit, I know you pros that's nothing haha, but it was pretty cool to me! I really hope we get to play as the Evil side, bros some pretty wicked units for the evil side is like to use... maybe a reverse single player map... Go take on the main human castle... My vote would be Orcs, Goblins and Skeletons for the races. Still want a magiccaster who shoots magic out of its hands like the Emperor, real bad dude or lady.
Actually I'm glad you brought that up - the reason there aren't female versions is because of memory. We use the base models to create a wide variety of units (by race), so they're each quite a sizable chunk of memory (we use a different method than Unity or Unreal - ours basically uses more RAM, but less CPU to animate characters - which is why we can fit so many complex characters on screen at once, and why this is an issue for a game like this where we already have a ton of base models). Since the majority of units would have been male even if we had female variants, we had to make that choice. If we add another race, I'll be sure to make it female - some sort of battle sisterhood or something. That's not a promise or anything, mind you. You're right, any crashes are definitely our bad, plain and simple. All I can do is apologize and hope those experiencing it will wait for the update. And not sure why'd you think otherwise, but it IS our top priority, which is why we're working overtime to fix it. We have 4 guys though, so those who can't help fix the crashes, are working on balance, bug fixes, animation tweaks, etc.
Tbh that kind of length is completely untested and unintended. We're going to be tweaking endless quite a bit so that the ramp up becomes much more significant.
This sounds awesome. My favourite part of the first H&C in endless was the feeling of being utterly overwhelmed. On the left your lines are falling and on the right they are meeting the same fate. Trolls just keep coming and you are fighting a losing battle. Then you summon what is your last wave of units with the gold available all while listening to epic osts before finally succumbing to the wounds in battle. Endless is awesome
Is the berserker skill that gives increased damage as health goes down working correctly? The tooltip says it gives +10% at 1 health... Does that mean 1 HP left or 1 HP missing? Also the animal spirit skill and the similar cape skill for paladin: these only apply when you're wearing an armor set that has a visible cape or animal skin on it correct? These are a little vague
The first one actually means 10% extra Damage at 1% Health left. I'm pretty sure the tooltip's supposed to mean a percent there. The second one, I don't think they're vague. For the Animal Skin damage, any armor that has a wolf head counts, and Human Armors sometimes have capes on them. I've only gotten one of those (with the capes) to even roll, so... yeah.
Ah well endless really did become endless...I probably could of continued for countless hours so maybe it's a good thing it crashed haha. Some of the units would have to be nerfed because the synergy I had was unbeatable unless you really ramped the difficulty but then that would be unfair to less geared players of endless. Edit: oddly enough, not sure if this is a bug or intended but sometimes a stray rock from a catapult would hit my fel crystal. This was with my walls still up and it happened quite a few times. Could of been arrows too. Not sure haha.
Foursaken already stated multiple times that they're significantly ramping its diffculty up. Just a headsup, not trying to come off as a jackhole or anything. Catapults have random accuracy. This also happened in the first game, so this is intended. Makes them much more of a threat than you'd think.
I'm happy about this. Hopefully they add some new rewards too. Crystals are nice but something exclusive would be nicer Edit: btw I was replying to a comment the admin said about them ramping up the difficulty. Was just stating that the unit synergy I was using would require quite a ramp. My units were invincible basically. I was just checking my phone to add buffs the whole time haha
I tried with my Madcatz c.t.r.l.i., but the sensitivity is way too high for me and together with some input lag it's getting really difficult to aim (at least for me) - but i'll go on trying
Wait... so the left stick to move works for you? Im on the latest madcatz micro ctrli firmware but the left analog doesnt work while the movement is on top of the directional pad.
In multiplayer, the grandmaster's time slow doesn't affect the other hero in any way. This sucks cos it's kind of the only real advantage the elf has. Dwarves can forge their way to invincibility and humans can stun the life out of everyone.
Adrenaline cannot slow your opponent Heroes either. In a way, it balances out, plus Grandmaster's fourth tier skill tree grants him a Magic Damage buff, which allows him to basically shred his opponent since there's not a lot of ways to protect against Magic Damage.
Sorry, didn't mean to make that as a total angry rant, I don't mean to conclude that the crashes aren't part of your top priorities. It's just that the crashes were present in the last few titles, and I was starting to wonder if it's just because older devices can't keep up with how you built your homemade engine and/or what you wanted it to demand.
