"Good" is relative, I'm sure, but I'll take a stab at my thoughts on the druid class. I'm currently only around lv 15. The beauty of this game is that you can clearly choose to play classes in different ways, and of course it will also depend on what gear and troops, etc you have access to, as well as your own personal strategies. I play the druid almost strictly as a support class, which I thus far have found to be a lot of fun. Early on the spell I used the most was the pet tree, which is a nice "free" help/distraction to keep mobs off you. As I leveled, I put almost all my skill points into the Armor spell and some into regen (both self and for allies). I have a few stray points in some of the other skills but nothing I'm basing my playstyle on. I recently rolled a rare staff which allows both ranged and melee, so I use that with a shield. This gives me the option to stay by the walls and call units and keep them protected with armor. If I'm not being attacked, I can travel with a pack of allies and heal them up, or stay behind to heal up bannermen, etc, just by standing near them. Combat-wise I'm pretty weak; I'm not sure if that's all due to the way I've chosen to play or just because I haven't rolled a really high damage weapon. I'm very excited to get to the latter two tiers of skills, it looks like there might be some more offensive capability. In general, though, I'm enjoying the class as a less direct combat intensive option.
I know you guys said you would focus on more campaigns, modes, etc. and that you have limitations as an indie studio, but would you ever consider adding female heroes? Making a female version of the existing races?
Bought this game knowing it's just like FM's other games: a total crashfest for my iPad 2. I can live with it, especially since the game saves after a fight, where my crashes commonly occur. Though fixing this should be a priority in FM's list of things-to-do. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan since Sky Gnomes, but it becomes a tedious chore when the frames crash and I'm left with looping sound effects and a perfectly still image, if not a black screen... 20 minutes into the fight. I'm even using the lowest graphics settings. The mishaps with difficulty, unit priority and the ridiculous concept between physical immune and magic immune enemies coming out all at once is excusable, but crashing midway in a fight is extremely unsatisfying. I'd rather have software and device compatibility fixed first before multiplayer matchmaking and connectivity, thank you very much. Imagine dealing with a gaggling band of high defense orc chieftains, magic immune mad doc goblins, coupled with a crap ton of plague mummies, catapults and burrowing spiders. Can a total population value of 100 even cover that by themselves? If your hero doesn't have access to deal both physical and magical damage... Yeah, have fun.
If your hero deals magic damage just summon a lot of pikemen, knight, elf lion guard or other to take care of that with. Grandmaster can actually deal magic damage at it's 4th tier level, making it just the right hero for the job.

Increased hit detection for foes I'm on top of? Yes please!!! Oh, I imagine most people don't get how the map works btw: I don't remember seeing an explanation that vertically higher means right side of map (looking out your keep) and lower means left. Kinda one of those things that should be explained imo, considering that's the map we have to work with.
Forsaken- I understand you're an indie studio and are limited to some things but some suggestions are spears maybe? Like how the pikemen have them but I haven't encountered any if their are spears that your hero can use. Maybe for skill with mana you can throw a knife that has armor piercing. Maybe bows that shoot different kind of arrows like a legendary bow can shoot fire arrows or poison arrows. I think that would be cool
There are spears. As expected they have huge AP. There's also bows that shoot magic arrows, which is cool and helps trace your shots.
Spears are ok. They have slow attacks and at most 3 hit combos but can hit a bunch of enemies at once. Their reach is pretty good but I can't really tell since it's kinda weird when attacking. When there are a lot of enemies it's kind of a nightmare but I guess in a one on one it is devastating. Dual wielding them is fun though.
I have a rune with 10% wide attack chance.. Can anyone tell me if that's any good? Maybe on a dwarf with a 2 handed mace?
It's decent. Back in beta i had a setup that has over 30% Wide attack i believe, so my spear, with its natural reach, was hitting multiple enemies often while in slow mo. It wasnt dealing burst damage to get rid of single priority targets though, so i switched to a sword and shield loadout instead.
I used spears a lot back in beta (about half my lv40 grandmaster's run was spear+shield). It was an AOE build designed to clear out mobs asap, but recently, i went with a sword coz burting priority targets is better than killing smaller enemies faster. That said, spears dont hit multiple targets, but they do have double the range of a sword, which is nice during slow mos coz you can hold back while attacking to still be in range of your spear, but out of enemies range, which makes for some good damage output trading rather than attempt to block their slowed attacks.
And dual wielding for me imo is the tried and true method to use while being a grandmaster. High DPS with high mobility boost and you're a monster on the battlefield. It'd be cool if you have a spear and shield and could attack while blocking, something similar to the lance from mhfu
Yeah... Like tapping block uses up all the duration of the block and you can keep attacking even if the block is still up. And if he blocks an attack during that duration of shield-up, it ends the block action and refreshes the block cooldown. That would be awesome, and a unique mechanic for spears. But with how much interaction is involved, im not sure if FM will add something like that. Would be really cool though.
Maybe a higher percentage to get weapons that are relevant to the three classes that the hero you're playing as might use? For instance if im playing as a human i would have a higher percentage to get a sword, hammer, or say a staff as opposed to getting a bow, a rifle or a spear
This is probably a pretty duh question, but when you mates are all talking about "rolling" a weapon, that just means getting a random one from the blacksmith for 3 crystals, right?
