Consider me a pansy for this, but all I've been doing lately is just keep what land I have ownership of defended, and intentionally failing the Main Wave (I'm on 12 right now) just to keep getting crystals and treasure from my land. Personally, I may be playing stupid, but hey, FREE CRYSTALS.
It's one of the best passives imo, BUT from experience, you only really need one point in that skill.
Yeah, ten seconds is far more than enough time to start your GTFO. Imo, I feel like it's actually a bit much in the starting point, but hey. I'm not one to argue about it. I'd rather leave it as it is anyway. I'm actually hankering to do some Co-op, but a lot of times I do so, I get a desync disconnect every time within the first minute. :c
One of these guys who plays the game for 5 minutes and thinks he knows it all. Kinda like the guy from appspy. The game gets more depth and more exciting as you play.
So I should just rush up to the base and stick around near the entrance to snipe off necros before they summon any skeletons? I eventually retreat because the snipers almost destroy me...and then the skeletons overwhelm me...
Well said It may seem annoying to look for the treasure chest at times, but behind the scenes, it's a really nice break from all the chaos.
I think you said your main was an archer? You can take them out from your base, hit the walls from there too. I think i remember something in H&C1 where you could angle your bow shots that it hits the enemy base without having to deal with the walls. Not sure if that applies in H&C2 though. Sambo confirmed you can win with the ranger from across the field, just not sure if you have to break a wall first or if you can directly aim at their tower. You'll know if you hit the tower coz in the minimap up top, the brown diamond representing the enemy tower is actually an HP bar.
You can damage the enemy's Keep/Crystal without destroying a wall first. You just gotta get the angle right to hit it past the wall, since it has a large hitbox (Some shots will hit the wall when they're higher than it).
The problem is, the running skeletons automatically block as they run towards me and I can't damage them until they lift their shields to attack me...and it's too late. So I should just aim for the keep and smack it down bit by bit with elven archers?
Since the level cap is 50 can i max out all of the knights skills? Otherwise im gonna have to reset my skill points which would suck to spend crystals on. The other question i have is if i pay crystals for the other characters/heroes will i still maintain the crystals i spend on the army towers and walls.
Switching Heroes simply means that. All purchases made on one Hero are persistent across all Heroes. No need to worry about that!
I want to say thank you to Exact Pscience, Sambobsung in particular for continually giving great advice on here. You guys Must have degrees in this game lol. Ayjona and the wiki.. You all keep it moving! I haven't had much time with work and family stuff, but will try to contribute when I can. For wave 29 I used Elven snipers and dwarfs, plus a mix of captain and support troop... Wave 30 is. A. Bear. I wish, in a future update if they choose to add more researches, there was a "de-magic" one.
You're welcome man. Im glad you found our posts helpful. Wave 30 was pretty fun discovering what needs to be summoned and WHEN they need to be summoned.
You cant. You'll only have enough for "a build." I love it the way it is because it would mean that each Knight can be different. For example one knight can be Taunt focused (all the defensive skills) while the other can be more offensive. Instead of spending crystals to reset, spend 10 crystals to unlock a new Human character and build another. That way you also get more crystals by completing achievements. Each of your characters can unlock the achievements and give you multiples of the rewards.
That would be pretty dissapointing if they did that. I love how many things there are to do in this game. Even the little things The idea someone had about when you go to your lands to have the people sharpening their swords and things like that is actually an amazing idea. Like I said the little things in this game are great to see/do.
Go in your keep as they're coming so they don't focus on you and focus on the wall instead. As soon as the wave starts I spawn a knight and a priest and the 2 units alone manage to keep them off until their keep is destroyed. Just here to help since I played the crap out of beta lol.
