Make sure that you closed all other apps, and try reseting the device. And i don't think the fix is that far away anymore. I thought they said they were aiming for Monday somewhere in this thread, but there can always go something wrong.
Hey FM, I think it's a mistake to not have this under RPG in the App Store as well as strategy. It has plenty of RPG elements and it's a popular subgroup.
Coincidentally, I'm stuck on wave 29!! I'm okay til the wraiths and the hog riders start destroying me and my walls. What troops and research do u use?
Does anyone have the same issues with staff and bow? These weapons are too slow to target and as a result it is difficult to dish out high amount of damage. Or should I turn on auto-aim?
In the original the troll was the strongest enemy in the game, is there anything stronger in game game? Any eta on a patch to fix the crashes?
I did those 1-2 min run with my high level paladin for the most part. Just tried it with my level 36 Mage. I used General's Rally and Dwarven Runes as my key research, and slowly build up my catapaults (keep skeletons off those as much as you can with your hero or some foot soldiers). Once General's Rally is done, unleash War Rhino and add more cats. Before too long their wall will come down and victory is in sight. Send in occasional plainsman or dreadnaught just for good measure. Here is a short video: https://youtu.be/D-vs0pZ4sfM
Jeez...how do I defend against this?! Lost within 30 seconds of starting. I've now lost 4 settlements...all with 20/20 difficulty. Plz help. I've been using militia with captains. EDIT: for some reason the pic won't load. Basically a swarm of cultists and mummy tomb lords massacre my troops and walls...
Pretty sure they're bugged. For me I have them as level 1 as well but they are actually level 5. I need to deal at least 160 damage to kill any skeleton troops and for the big HP ones it's even more. Level 15/level 29 are the best places to grind for exp.
I restarted, which resets your IAP gems and made a char for each race and I'm leveling them up concurrently. Most of the gear I win gets used and it's not disappointing if you have an archer and all you get is bows etc. Also this helps build up gems and it's nice having backup characters of you die in battle.
Dev, please get rid of the having to run around an empty zone just to find a discovered treasure. When it's at night it's a real pain in the @ss. What's the point anyway? it's just wasting time.
I personally like it. What's wrong with taking a stroll in the night? Now, when you take Fog into accountability... That's a different story.
Yeah, it's like a little cig 'n' coffee break in-between the ipad-melting mayhem. Is Uncommon the max item you can get from a treasure chest? Seems to have worked that way for me.
Cool. Do you have at least one level in the elf grandmaster's first active skill (heightened senses), coz it'll make this significantly easier. So here's the trick for Wave29. Works even when i was level 22 in multiple MELEE character classes, but Elven Hunters need to be at max level. 1. At the start, crank out one bannerman. 2. Research fast shot and then general's rally 3. Summon an Elven Hunter. Auto-summon Elven Hunters so you dont have to worry about creating more. He should automatically start attacking the wall units of your enemy. 4. By this time up to 3 necromancers should be summoned by the horde, and you need to get rid of them ASAP, or they will overrun you with skeletons and take out your Elven Knights. 5. You main job is to destroy the right side wall, while making sure the horde cant have necros walking around to summon. Once you get rid of the wall, just destroy the main base. That would take a few hits since every hit will land, unlike the wall where you cant damage it all the time. With auto-summon elven hunters active, by the time you are killing the second or third wave of the necros, your (usually 3 hunters is enough, but the rally research should be completed by the time you need them most to take down the walls faster) hunters should almost clear the wall of units and they should help damage the walls as well. You need to cast Heightened Senses when killing the first necros to easily clear them without having them summon skeletons. They need to be outside the gate to be killed. Right after the slow ends, re-cast it. It should allow you to freely hit the walls a lot after you've taken out the necros. Take note though that this strategy works for me with melee characters back in beta, coz the gunner was bugged and wasnt dealing damage to walls. If your archer now deals damage to walls, i think you're in good shape. The main trick here is to avoid necros spamming skeletons, and taking out the enemy base before the real difficult part comes.
Like Myndflame, i like it too. Gives you something else to do, a task that isnt as draining as doing the missions constantly. This reminds me of Monster Hunter's farm/fishing/cooking.
