The grind is real...it gets really hard without making iAPs once you get past wave 7 imo...took me several times per wave.

That's because Peter is doing a lot of stupid things when he was doing that review. If you go to the earlier pages of this discussion thread a lot of people including the dev have already point out the flaws that app spy made in their review. Then again I can't say this game is for everyone. It's a pretty deep game if you really dive into it with a lot to learn, remember and experiment. Also the game is pretty tough too especially as you progress. So it really comes down to if you like hardcore games as well as the game genre. Since this is no coc/candy crush. Other than individual preference, if I were to just judge the game itself, it is definitely a very good game. You hardly get games like this on mobile also. As for mfi it works pretty damn well. And that's how I always play it when I am at home too. And it's full support including menu navigation and etc. not just movement and actions of your character. I say this because some games thou having mfi support, but only semi supported to be exact since some things you still rely on touch screen but not for the case here.
Nope. I got to wave 21 before i overwrote the save file when i found a fix for my beta save. I mean yeah it gets tough, but it's not unbeatable unless you grind or buy IAP. It takes some "getting killed" sometimes to know what enemies will show up in a wave, so that you'll be ready with the right units and researches to counter those with. Also, a pro tip: Upgrade the Crystal a few times to unlock the Captain. Then prioritize upgrading the Captain and he generally wins you waves if the wave starts with easy to kill enemies if you feed him with at least 2 kills. Take note, when he kills an enemy, that's when he gives out the bonuses. So after you get him out, get some other units out too to buff them
I take it blah means your butthurt im right lmao how can you not realise by now devs make these high end games but will still list as many older devices as possible? Its about the money! Yes it might run, but you damn well better expect lag, crashes, freezes etc its funny, people want high end games on their devices, yet moan when they are made! Yes i know its listed, but if you have been an ios gamer for a while, surely you know devs do this, and that you will get running problems. Its been like this for a long time, and now with metal, trust me there is a reason devs are making games for the latest devices, so just upgrade already. I bet u could sell your 4s and be halfway or more to getting a new device anyway, and trust me when i say its worth it....
Not everyone has the capacity to keep up with device upgrades. Please refrain from telling people to get new devices coz you're multiple posts regarding that is starting to sound rude rather than you being proud of your device. Im sure if they can shell out extra cash they wouldve already.
Erm 2 posts does not count as multiple mr white knight secondly im not advertising for air 2s lol its quite simple to grasp why games of this caliber will have issues, even after bug fixes. And as far as "capacity" is concerned were not talking about homless people here lol i have gave examples if you read my post about how they can upgrade without much stress, i really dont have much money and was sick of lag and crashes, and i sold my old trusty ipad 2 and was over half way to buying a 16gb, and then slowly saved for 2 months. If anything thats the best advice to give users of older devices, i know how irritating it can be so they shouldn't feel disheartened but see how much the new ones are going for, especially trading in you old device like i did. Games are going to become more demanding even more so with metal.
Easier to add another name to the ignore list. Anyways im glad Foursaken optimized the game further. Back in Beta, in wave 30, it was impossible to have a full set of upgraded mages when they cast meteor and ice storm together without crashing. I just did 2 runs to farm XP and it was smooth sailing.

Well I was partly trying to be funny but yes there are IAPs. Since I do view this as at least a $5 game I bought the $2 IAP 'cause I really should have paid more anyway right? Haven't spent most of those crystals yet as I don't want it to be too easy though.
Either you use magic imbue and use your weapon against the wraiths while your minions take care of the other, or you use magic-based minions while you help take out the others. Wraiths only take damage from magic, while the robed guys are almost immune to magic.
Iphone 5 ios 8.whatever (2 i think). Started carching the crash bug, cant wait for the update. Just beat level 10, psy's hint to use captains has turned this game totally around.
