Hey Foursaken Media, love the game like all your games and i have spent $80 USD so far to support you. One thing that is really tedious is selling all uncommon and rare items.... When i craft alot of items it would really be helpful if we had a "sell all items lesser than uncommon" for example. Aside from that I have had very bad luck to summon a Legendary Staff, Bow or Gun... I ended up getting 15 legendary melee weapons and none for ranged. I really hope it allows us to throw gems at a legendary to recraft it into different weapons. Additionally runes for example: some of the them have 2 stats and others only1. I would like to throw gems on runes ro get or change secondary stats. It just seems very hard to get end game items because of RNG and it was so much easier in your other games. My 2 cents
Try conquering some enemy territories then. Ah ok. Don't like the look of it though. I honestly thought it was a missing texture. I don't mind though, since you can combine any other bow look with the stats.
You're probably right...so what do u guys focus on with your gems? Units, if so which? Keep/tower/wall upgrades? Or just equipment?
Mm Foursaken is it possible to make the reward for replaying the battle of scarwood keep 2 crystals instead of 1? It'd make it a little easier I guess for grinding out some crystals.
Just wanted to pop in and say that some excellent work is being done on the new H&C2 wiki by Elsa! There is already pertinent information which might be of use to new players. If you've the time and energy to help out, we'll crank up that usefulness quickly. (Read this post of mine for further details on the wiki.)
I'm currently listing skills. If anyone can send me a screenshot of a fully unlocked skill tree that'd be really appreciated. I need it to crop out the icons. Also, feel free to edit the wiki with information which is missing. It will take a long time until I will be able to figure out how each skill levels up by myself. If you don't want to edit the wiki, you can also send me a PM or just post the information in this thread. Question. Is there a limit on skill levels? I know there are certain skills that have no upgrades, but is there a level cap on all skills? If so, what is it? Level 10?
Skills have different caps. For example, the Rangers Stamina+ skill caps at level ten while some other skills like incapacitate and guillotine cap at level 3. Some strong skills that require 3 skill points will cap at level 1 though. I'd send you a screenshot but I can't view my heroes :L
Can you actually get helmets and capes in this game? I seem to only craft body armour for my human all the time. And crappy ones at that! Thanks
Yeah the higher the quality of armor the cooler they look. Rare is usually when they start changing and epics and legendary are where you get capes helmets and everything else.
I have crashes at the end of nearly every battle now. Gladly it doesnt count as a loss if it happens. A reboot might fix it but I didnt tried that yet. I'm playing on iPhone 5 and have all graphic details at low/off(shadows). Otherwise the game will stutter badly as soon as there are 5 footmen groups or more on the screen at once. Btw, how does the castle defend part work out? I make good progression but realised that my castle gets attacked consistently so I asked myself what happens if I cant defend it anymore since I'm not able to grind levels somewhere else until I've successfully defend my castle?
You have only so many days until the next wave comes so you have to plan accordingly. Stop invasions that are 3 or less days away from your outposts and take other lands as much as you can before doing the next wave. You can just attack until you absolutely have to defend your castle if you want.
You can get experience by replaying waves. And nothing happens if you lose a battle at your main castle. There's no direct penalty. Gain enemy terriories during those main waves.
Anyone experiencing crashes are u surprised?? Im playing on air 2 maxed out and its flawless! No offense but why the hell do u think ipad air 2 was released?? Its because for devs to raise the bar gameplay wise apple need to raise the bar for tech, so stop whining on your older devices and upgrade
Any tips on gaining rare and other special items? Just keep crafting? Or keep doing missions? Or do they not come until later in the game?
Being a huge fan of the original, I had ridiculously high expectations for this game before it came out. I'm happy to say that those expectations have all been met and exceeded - this game is just fantastic. It's got everything I loved from the original and tons more on top of it. This morning I was late to work because I got sucked into an epic back and forth trying to take an outpost. I haven't even touched multiplayer co-op yet, and that was what I spent most of my time on in the original. I do have some questions/concerns regarding difficulty and balance as well as what's going on on the main map. It seems like every main wave I clear, the next one comes 1 turn later. So I have really little time to expand and/or defend on the map. Plus the defend/siege spots seem to rise in difficulty much faster than I can handle. I'm not sure if the X/20 difficulty is meant to match with your character level (?) but my level 7 guy is facing 12/20 difficulty. Don't know if that's intended or not. I think I might have messed things up by purchasing IAP. I've tried to not use too much of the crystals I bought but maybe I upgraded too many things so now the difficulty is scaling to that? That brings me to the only "complaint" I'd have about the game. I love it so much I felt the need to support it more with real $, but the only way to do that is through IAP. Now I worry I've unbalanced the intended flow of the game difficulty by giving myself more access to things I wouldn't have normally had if I had played without the IAP. And even though I know it's silly, I feel guilty when I use the purchased IAPs because I didn't "earn" them, but I also can't resist the temptation. I'm also not clear on how to improve my own guy's damage/defense aside from rolling on new gear? Do stats improve when you level or is everything gear based? I know I get a skill point but that's all I'm aware of.
Hmm, I do wait until the countdown hits zero as well as taking enemy territories between the main waves. I just guess that this game mechanic can lead to a point were someone can be stuck because he spent his crystals on upgrading the wrong classes and/or spending skill points on the wrong skills without being able to level the main char or grinding crystals until he has beaten the actual wave. No? Blah. Go read the description. It clearly says iPhone 4S and up. If anything above that cant handle the game, it shouldn't be supported.
mm I'd have to say it's more 60/40 in terms of gear and skill. You should grind out previous levels to make your hero stronger since levels will get increasingly harder later on. Stats do improve when you level and you want to plan out where you put your skill points in accordingly. Damage I'd say mostly improves from runes/equips or using the research thing in game. Some classes have skills that improve their damage output though, like the knight and Ranger.
