2 questions for you guys: 1. Is the update rolling out for android soon? 2. Is New Game+ and being able to summon your heroes going to be available in Endless and Multiplayer?
Whew. Just rolled a +2 damage, +35 AP, +41% ASPD (!!!!!) Spear. I know the consensus seems to hate on attack speed, but I've always found it to be amaaaaaaaaaaazing, (well, ever since the big patch that made it worthwhile, at least). Pair that beauty with a Godly +70 damage rune and it tears stuff apart.
when was the consensus to hate on AS? its insanely strong with on hit builds, especially elf. congrats on the loot!
So, just to clarify we've kept enemy vs unit balance almost the same as it always has been. This means that your units improve every Game+ as well. However, the largest increase in challenge comes from enemy bonus damage on your heroes. This basically means that as you move up the Game+ modes, you'll need to start relying more and more on unit strategy to win (in theory) bc your hero wont be able to solo everything on his own! We're looking to fix this up asap!
ASPD has been one of the best stats to go for in this game. Couple that with various on-hit effects like spell procs, and various crit types.
What was the exact situation again? There are a couple of factors that reduce xp.... playing on easy, using mercenaries, remaining wall health, etc... could there be a chance that a combination of these factors made it so you're earning a tiny bit of xp? Also, what level is your hero?
It seems like a lot of the theorycrafting has been all about that crit. Ironically, my favorite speed weapon (+2 damage, +35% aspd legendary ranged staff) is useless with Proc builds, since almost all procs trigger centered on you, not the enemy. Edit: from the best Godlies to the worst, I just rolled the dreaded -45% Torch Bearer and -45% War Bannerman runes back to back. And I got one of those fun +40 gun damage shields yesterday, too.
So when you use Steadfast Defense, your units' feet get encased in stone, which I've always thought was a nice touch. My elf just summoned my Dwarven Engineer, though, and he just Steadfast Defensed my Dryads for the first time. (My dwarf never summons them.) The stone goes all the way up to their waists! It's huge! I was surrounded by 12 dryads and when they all turned into giant boulders at once, I thought I'd glitched into a rock. I was about to come here to submit a bug report before I remembered my Dwarf.
Out of 5 heroes, only 2 can get any xp This is no matter if i play the current wave, through the scribe or side quests. I have a level 1 dwarf that haven't been able to get xp since i started him. I have a level 6 pally who could get xp for a while but now can't. I have tried to switch gear around on the heroes, tried all the waves available at the scribe, reinstalling the game, arena, you name it. Nothing works Someone else mentioned it could be gear related (as in a bug with new gear) and that fits with how it happened to me. The level 5 pally stopped getting xp when i crafted a new weapon for him. I crafted a new weapon, armor and rune for the level 1 dwarf before actually playing him. Sadly, going back to the old equipment doesn't work either Also, when i've completed a wave on an affected hero the xp bar says level 1-2 no matter the hero's actual level
Nope, NG+ only for me. It's possible they're resulting from a weird rarity call, because the game lists them as commons, but they don't sell with all the other commons when you batch-sell at the blacksmith.
If you could, email us at [email protected] and we'll hook you up with a code to see if new heroes are doing the same thing. Fixed - just wanted to make sure it wasn't manifesting itself somewhere else
I got a question: How can we play low level heroes? The campaign gets hard and tougher with game*, which I really do enjoy, but my little ones (level 8 and 19 are struggling to survive, even a single blow).
Yeah I wondered about this before I chose to stay in normal. I think the best way is to play some arenas, and beef them up a bit. But also play the really low level waves to make sure your heroes stay alive. This should get enough xp to get your heroes beefed up a bit and then you will be able to progressively get them stronger. But the grind will be real. Slowly there will be progress and you will be reking! By the way does new game + mode affect the enemy unit health? I am just worried if I enter this game mode, I will be stuck in this mode where I can't really make progress. But I am glad there is a challenge out there XD. I summon my elven ranger, dwarf runesmith, and paladin, and I use my lvl 69 knight to crush. I usually just keep playing wave 48 to gain xp. I get 1/2 to 2/3 of the way to the next level with each hero every battle. And also what has been your best equipment from winning round 13 in the arena. Just getting an idea of what you all get. Thanks!
Thanks for clarifying the whole bonus damage. One more question though- does the bonus damage remain constant or does it increase with every new game +? Also, wondering if there will ever be a way out of new game + back to the normal game or something like that.... As much as I like the challenge, sometimes I just want to have an easy battle where it is not so intense. Sort of like H&C- if you wanted a challenge, go to Corte, something easier, go to Hinton...I just don't like being trapped in new game + with no way to go other than up.
