Damn the outposts are still hard as hell. When they're on lvl 20 it's almost impossible for me to beat them.
I can maybe help! Tell me what hero you have or what troops you have and the kind of enemies you face. I can tell you the strategy I always use. P.S. at those level you can't beat them headstrong (meaning eliminating all the enemy troops and then attacking the castle) I am assuming you are facing large hitpoint troops like trolls, mummies and orc chieftains. What I do is send in a horse in the beginning and start spamming catapults and horses at the same time (with some paladins that should keep the guys stunned and heal other troops and one pathfinder to do some extra damage). The knights should keep the pesky big guys focussed with their hit and run tactics. The catapults though have to be high level and the knight as well. Try to help out as well and for the wall troops if you still have not won, get elven snipers with one greybeard but these troops should be the last as catapults are your only way to win. Please let me know if this works or if there needs to be more clarifications!
So I just recently started playin this game as I realized I could on my 4s, and it runs fine on low detail with only minor stuttering, which is expected, except at first it was crashing when a lot started going on. After deleting Facebook app and a couple other things and making sure other apps are closed it crashes a lot less, but when it does it's always when I am almost finished with a battle, so it's VERY aggravating. I am just wondering if anyone else who plays on a 4s could let me know what apps to avoid having DLed or what steps I can take just to avoid the crash; it seems like it's just a matter of RAM or processing power and the device doing a kind of "fail safe" by closing the app so it doesn't freeze or something. Any and all advice welcome, I know others play it on 4s with minimal problems. Thanks in advance!!
Tentative update list! - can now summon your other heroes in battle (cost determined by their level)! Summoned heroes earn a small portion of xp - new Game+: when you complete the campaign, you have the option of restarting in a new, much harder Game+. Game+ resets all unit unlocks and upgrades, as well as campaign and map progress. You keep your hero levels, crystals, equipment, and building upgrades. Max level cap goes up, new equipment tier unlocks, units get stronger, max tower level goes up, crafting rates for better equipment goes up, and more. - new "Godly" tier of equipment (only unlocked in Game+) - After reaching max number of heroes, you can now delete one and replace it with a new one - Enemies and allies are no longer invincible when standing to the side of outposts - Grandmaster can no longer kill a knight with juggernaut ability active - Knights galloping sound no longer continues while standing still - fixed some mp crashes - fixed some controller issues - various other bug fixes
New game+ and godly tier equipment sounds perfect. Foursaken boys, you never fail to impress, even on something that marks the end of content updates for a fantastic game.
Update Sweet! So by summoning heroes do you mean you could summon them like any other troop or something? I thought there were no more updates coming, but this is awesome!! Thank you so much!! I would be glad to try out the new game level *cough* even though I suck (best hero is at level 60). I think the part where you said where you can summon other heroes into battle is epic! Also when do you think the update will come out?
No there is not. But the land is way more varied if you have not played! Mountains, plains, tundra, deserts, and many more.
Maps Hi guys, Just a quick question, or maybe a long one... But what is your strategy for map levels. I have beat all the waves and maps. Currently I have completed like 35 waves normal in history mode. But I know that the more outposts you beat the more everything starts to get harder. I start to get orc chieftains and trolls in the beginning of every battle. Not that I cant beat them. What I do is send in a knight and set up a catapult, but I always do those levels on easy. Then I send in a paladin. And spam mostly catapults after that. It takes about 5-6 minutes to take down the enemy's walls while my paladins and knights and I fend off the stronger sieging units. I know though that I won't be able to hold off with this strategy for long, because I have been testing different enemies, and I realized that the enemies that I am battling now are so much stronger than the ones I fought in the outposts a long time ago. I read almost all of the thread and I know the enemies keep getting stronger every outpost you beat. At one point if I kept going would it not start to become impossible? So what strategies do you guys use? Thanks for the help!!
My strategy usually involves stringing the enemy on for as long as possible, spawn all the flag bearers, research the rally for 200 command points. Once I get the points, I release a captain or knight to keep the enemy down. For siege missions, I then accumulate 280 command points and send in 4 juggernauts. I then cast holy shield on them and walk with them so they don't get distracted and escort them as close to the wall as possible. Then wait for victory.
I cast Invulnerability on siege missions and crit for 400+ on walls with my hammer+shield Fighter Mage, without researching or summoning anything And yeah, i recently picked this up again in preparation for the upcoming update. A new tier of equips and missions is too tempting not to get back.
Strategy Thanks guys! You guys have good ones. And pscience, lol, only the hero! Your hero must be awesome! My knight has is more damage dealing but I might need to dabble into mage a bit more. So what allows you to do more damage to walls?
v1.2.1 skill bug, iOS 9.3.1 on iPad Air 2 I'm looking forward to the update! Here's a dwarf skill interaction bug, that I just noticed under v1.2.1 using iOS 9.3.1 on an iPad Air 2... If it's as intended, then a skill description tweak would be nice. Dwarf with: level 5 Flurry, attacks (including heavy) have 50% chance to use no stamina level 5 Hammer Smash, +50% damage on attacks with full stamina Flurry is working, but on those still-full-stamina heavy attacks there is no +50% damage from HS (HS works fine for non-heavy attack's bonus; specifically, not even one of the enemies hit by heavy attack gets HS bonus; also, testing with wide-angle perk reveals that doesn't get HS bonus on any enemy when it triggers either)
Paladin Pscience Dude! How do you get sweet armor like that! My knight has legendary armor but it is black and the shield (legendary) is gold but it does not look good as that guy you have! The hammer is sick and I am trying to find one like that for my dwarf! But you might have paid for those gems right? The problem is I can't pay for them because my parents wont let me! I have to single handedly get those gems which is pretty boring, but fun at the same time. Thanks for sharing! And also how does your knight have that much HP? My knight only has like 298 which is low, but gets the job done.
