    Items with rigged stats as a throwback to H&C heroes or little changes in mechanics would be nice. i played the shit out of H&C.
    Something interesting between the Ranger and bows in this game-
    The ranger fired slightly lower than his aim point, but in this one bows shoot slightly higher than the aim point. Threw me off for 3 waves when i used a bow for the time on this. Or it might be a arcing change based on slightly different gravity physics.

    be intresting to see a bow that uses the old mechanic as a throwback to the ranger.

    Has anybody checked out the free version yet? Is it more updated than the paid version or is it more of the same?

    EDIT: So it IS more updated. If you guys want to play with a newer patch, you guys can :)

    EDIT2: Seems the crashing with multiplayer using "forged" weapons bug is still there :/

    I found out what is is. It's +25 Bow Damage. Never saw bow damage before, and what's weird is that it's worse than +25 Ranged Damage, which is also a legendary perk.

    Wasn't the walking and running animations improved in an update? I bought it on Day 1 but simply could not get over the animations. Redownloaded and nope, didnt see any improvement. Is that coming in another update or fix?

    Something they did change, that's why we had the Paladin cape bug in the meantime.
    I don't think any change was really necessary, I liked the old animations.
    But now I have the feeling that Paladin capes look worse than ever. Shadows cast on it have a big rectangular shape.
    And now on top of it you say nothing has been improved animation-wise. That could mean everything was in vain. :rolleyes:

    I got something similar, and i did see it change.

    It was a +20 DMG, +25 Spear damage rune that i noticed changed into +20 DMG, +25 Axe Damage rune.

    Bug reports

    • I just realized the unit list (units that are alive) in co-op mode only displays your own units. The wall was full of units which my ally built but I couldn't see them in my list. That's not very useful. Maybe it can be fixed in the upcoming patch.
    • Also I always get a multiplayer connection loss whenever iOS says the battery is low. The battery is low often when playing this game. Connection loss probably happens when any iOS "OK Button" message appears that pauses the game.
    • And then there was this small mini bugged light on the wall after an endless co-op game:

    I reported the population's bug way before they submitted the next patch (if they did) so I believe it will be included.

    In addition to that small mini bug, when walls get destroyed, the towers (ballistas, cannons..) will remain floating in the air.

    So I can't beat level 35. My best hero is a level 38 Human Knight. Any strategies? :)

    Cool it's nice to see that you guys are pretty active in patching the game it really improves the gameplay. For example red guards post buff can actually contribute lol. I've seen them used in multiplayer with varying degrees of success.

    The PvP players tend to contribute a lot of outside content to the game such as guides, strategies, and articles that enhance the gameplay experiance for new and veteran players. Most of them also tend to be long time Foursaken fans so I'm glad too see attention is being put in PvP.

    As a random suggestion for endless mode you could create varying degrees of difficulty (easy, medium, hardcore) which affect how fast the waves get harder while applying some kind of reward multiplier for the different difficulties. It would sort of be like how hilton was easy and corte was super hard so when you were in the mood or short on time you could adjust the difficulty accordingly.

    On a side note I'm not sure if it's just my game but in PvP as a mage when my resurrection ability activates I sometimes spawn inside the enemy base by the base banner. I either can't move around much by being stuck in the banner or more recently in just trapped inside base because of his walls.

    re "nearby"...

    Arcane Magic description uses that word, and you can easily be a ways away from, say, Bannerman, and suck the life/mana out of them.

    However when (level 5) Unstable Magic uses that word, a skeleton that has stopped to hit you at its melee distance is too far away.

    You literally have to make sure you're overlapping an enemy for the Unstable blast to hit them (and I verified it is AoE by pushing two skeletons attacking my wall and myself into overlap). My back being turned didn't seem to matter, so I doubt it's a direction issue.

    I imagine this skill could be overpowered with a decent radius, but that's so tiny that it may be an unintended bug?

    [To the best of my recollection U.M. didnt seem to "work" in v1.0.3 non-free either, fwiw.]

    Great game! I appreciate the new weapon by-type crafting.

    Apparently i miscounted the amount of crystals i get from playing the map without using exploits.

    In 55 minutes of playtime which includes gathering found items and selling them, i got a total of 96 crystals.

    When everyone was telling me my rate was too low, i knew i may have made a mistake somewhere, so i decided to write down the starting time, current crystals, and took note of the 55 minute mark (was planning 1 hour, but that's close enough), and ended up with more accurate figures.

    Maybe 1 more run and i could get at least 4 crystals from my lands to get a 100 crystal per hour rate which i think is decent.

    The only real difficulty i am facing is how to level up to 99 without using exploits. I got 2 levels up but was already halfway through towards lv77, and after an hour got to lv78 on my gunmage. I think that may sound decent on MMO standards, but pretty slow on single player grind with a mutiplayer pvp feature.

    I guess imma slow down with H&C2 until the item-class specific crafting update is out. I've got 3200+ crsytals ready to throw at repeaters, spears and greatswords.

    I'm still not happy with too many Catapults and Goblin Rocketeers in Endless. With a melee hero, you can't really focus on melee enemies at your gates but you have to run after catapults and rocketeers all the time which is not fun. It's not a fun challenge. It could be that I'm the only person on the planet who dislikes catapult and rocketeer spamming, because well, nobody else complained about this yet. But if you feel the same you should let the devs know or it may never be changed.
    Your base mostly gets destroyed because you can't handle those long-ranged attacks while you're busy with hard-hitting melee enemies.
    I played Endless a lot, this is frustrating and needs to get more polished.
    Also there's too much randomness when your crystal is randomly targeted by rocketeers. Your highscore basically depends on luck.

    Your crystal earnings are great in anyway. Look what's my crystals rate is for almost 55 min on coop:

    Edit: leveled up like 3 times, though.

    I completely agree with you (already 'complained', I think).

    In H&C1, Endless/Coop the thing was taking care of catapults/wraiths whereas here is totally differ... Well, it's pretty much the same after all. Things to counter are again catapults/wraiths and the beloved rocketeers, while our wall units destroy the rest of units slowly.

    Just thinking about the guns we have, Blunderbusses, Rifles, and repeater rifles. Why not flintlock pistols?

    500 range like a blunder and roughly the same damage with armor puercing over aoe. They could work kinda like shortbows so you can wield ranged and melee or dualwield them for a faster fire rate.

    Would be interesting to also see units with them, A dwarf gunner that dual wields them or a human unit that knocks back enemies with a melee strike and follows up with a pistol shot.

    Just throwing thoughts out.

    I have this game on my iPod 5th gen. and the game crashes every other battle, sometimes even the first battle after launching. Very frustrating, thought they already fixed this.

    I also think they should increase the amount of crystals higher rated equipment are worth. Does anybody know about a future update fix on this?

    Great game though. :)

  20. Several of us have tossed out the pistol as a viable and fun gunpowder weapon.

    I just picture a dual wield grandmaster elf going all Matrix/John Woo-style :D
