Random question, but is this game ran at 30 or 60 FPS?

    Thanks

This is mostly acting as a thread bump, but there is some relevance.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not, but has anyone else noticed that Siege Trolls hit twice on a single swing? I've noticed that when I did a Wave 30 and not built any anti-Troll units (Becase Trolls look freaking AMAZING here, let's be honest), and I'm not sure if that's intended. I don't see them double-swinging whatsoever.

    I'm pretty sure that's intended because they're anti-wall, but I don't see them double-hitting me.

Anyone know the actual effects of slow attack speed vs fast attack speed?

Trying to decide between an 80 damage 20% crit slow attack speed and a 80 damage 18% crit regular attack speed.

Yeah it's the speed which you swing your weapon.

:D Got a chuckle out of me. I'm not good with phrasing, but I'm not sure how else to ask it. How significant is weapon speed?

Not much, but it was said this will change in some update. You can try it yourself - dualwield slow and fast weapon, they swing at their own speed (they'll make one hit at the same time I believe)

What's force? Under some skills (and runes can give forceful blows chance) it says force and I have no idea what that means.

Also, does anyone know how rune damage stats work? Do they stack? As in if you have a rune with +20 damage and +25 melee damage, is one stacked on top of the other, or are they just straight up added? Do the damage stats on runes buff with passive/active skills?

    Force is knockback

You'll get +45dmg from that rune if you are wielding melee weapon.

With the skills it depends. If a skill buffs percentage of sword damage and your rune says "+x sword damage", then yes

    Thank you.

With the damage buff, you mean when the + damage is listed under perks it doesn't buff, but when it's listed under attributes it does? Makes sense, I hope it's so.

Not sure if anyone pointed this out yet, but you can shoot enemies behind your back when they get in the crosshair. Not only is it weird, it can also be annoying when you try to shoot a wall or an enemy that is infront of you, but you end up damaging the guy behind your back.

    Guess what? Classified.
    Classified.
But how do they get in the crosshair if they're behind you...

Vampirism has a chance of healing you 20 HP when attacking an enemy.

Because the crosshair doesn't actually have any depth. *mindblown* ........

I've done some extensive testing, here are my [rather inconclusive] findings:

+% weapon based skills affect base weapon damage only

+dmg seems to affect dwarf's dual-wield skill (I think FM stated this was a bug)
+dmg seems to also be affected by reckless (I'm not sure about this)
+dmg affects all active skills (guillotine, warrior blow, sword strike)

+melee damage/range damage/undead etc are flat damage bonuses to normal attacks only
+weapon damage are also unaffected by % based skills (not really confirmed, very difficult to tell but it doesn't seen any different from +melee/range damage)

A +20, +25 rune will be +45 damage to your normal attacks in MOST cases. If you've got a berzerker dwarf, it's closer to +60-65 damage due to +dmg rune behaving strangely... I will say that for the most part, you want AP, crit, and vampirism late game. There are two exceptions:

Melee elves using high crit weapons (50%) may benefit from a damage modifier more than +12% crit
Knights because sword strike is only affected by +dmg

Also there's an unlisted Necromancy rune that you can get through "crafting" with the 4th tier runesmith skill. I'm not sure what it does though, I thought it raised skeletons or something from the dead to fight for you. But 30 minutes later into endless, nothing.

Can you test this please? I don't really have any +weapon damage runes anymore. Haven't been keeping those. You should be able to see a ~12-15 damage difference between a +25 melee rune and a +25 sword damage rune if this is the case.

It would be nice to have a Damage per second (dps) stat so we could see the effects of swing speed on our overall damage. This stat, of course, should not reflect activated abilities, combos or AP because these are all situational.

He probably means Berserker -> bloodlust which is the same as vampirism with slightly more healing (35 vs 20)

Rune Inscription. Necromancy seems be be a perk only found using that skill.

No idea what you are replying to... But bloodlust is not the same as vampirism apparently (apart from the heal difference). Vampirism works on attacking an enemy, bloodlust only works on killing an enemy.

My dwarf is a berserker (lvl 25) so I didn't know that. Sounds cool though. How do you know what's it called and what the perk does? Does a text pop up at the start of the battle?
