Ugh... The wait is killing me. And that is coming from a beta tester who spent at least a hundred hours in beta. Im sure others would kill for a ninja release for tonight.
How long are each of the missions/levels going to be? like, I'm wondering how much time I'll have to set aside to play a level without loosing progress?
Missions are around 5 minutes. We designed the game to be able to be played in short or long sessions!
Given the popularity of H&C 2, I wonder if this game will get into a drama just like Forgotten Memories, in which people constantly complain about a feature the devs have stated that won't get changed.
I am one of the lucky beta tester of this game and I can define this game with 3 words for you :AWESOME , OUTSTANDING , ADDICTIVE !!!
Forgotten Memories is new in a sense that there hasnt been that type of experience on mobile. NEVER. That means, it has mechanics that may never work with some mobile gamers which the devs understood and willing to risk. H&C2 on the other hand is a SEQUEL. An overall improvement to a game most love already. So no, H&C2 will not have a 1000-post thread where 90% is drama. But it can easily hit 1000 posts im sure.
Preach it.. ain't nobody got time for that. we always nip it in the bud too when someone's like "IAP?!? I REFUSE TO BUYZ A 2 DOLLAR GAMEZ W IAP. SUCKZ. 1 star."
It's really now just guessing how fast it's going to hit 1000 thousand posts when it comes out. My guess is the first week since I'm betting there'll be more posts than the first H&C thread due to how much more there is to do.
Dear god, that first H&C thread. H&C is what got me to join and get into the TA forums. So much nostalgia lookin back at that
The first H&C thread reached over 5k posts iirc. I cant even open that thread on the TA app, i have to open a browser to read there. LOL Best part is it's 95% strategy discussion, unit, skill and build comparison, multiplayer result discussion, etc.
Oh capital! That's what irks me about some mobile games; you have to play in long sessions when the platform is best utilized in short bursts. (in my opinion) Thanks FM!
Forsaken games generally encourage strategy talk. Deep, layered, highly strategic, and a monetary model nobody who isnt a troll can complain about. Just 3-4 more days!!!
So I did that thing I sometimes do with Foursaken games, and created a wiki for Heroes & Castles 2. The game is certainly deep and broad enough to warrant a centralized, dedicated source of gameplay info and discussion, with capabilities beyond a TA thread. Given ETA still in effect and release (im)pending, there is only a basic structure in place, a forum, some navbar customization, and a few other semi-functional features. But no content. And this is where you fellas come in, as soon as H&C2 is out Here it be, the Heroes & Castles 2 wiki. A few notes: Please read the Talk section of the main page (little button labelled 'Talk' ner the top of the page, below the nav bar), for some basic editing advice and wikia practice and netiquette. If yer new to the still surprisingly non-user-friendly world of wikis and Wikia, check the talk page as well, for some links to basic editing and contribution help. Tweaks to the graphical profile the wiki are very welcome. If no one more graphically talented steps up, I will eventually see to it myself Come one, come all. And holler if you feel particularly active and edit-ive, and I'll throw admin privilegies at ya (bundles with the weight of the world and terrible, harrowing burdens).
