We are trying super hard to play it and find problems and issues, help give suggestions on balance, etc... its taking awhile. Still finding small things here and there to let the bros. know about... it is very much an awesome, complete experience but there are things that need to be fixed. I played the original H&C today, just as a change of pace and boy... you can truly see this is a sequel. H&C's action was at a different pace in the heat of battle; this one has a definite chess feel with when to play your pikemen or your footmen or which archers to use or etc... plus what perks or ressearches to pursue based on the wave.. The scope is so much greater, with, as previously mentioned by Foursaken, the lands to conquer for bonuses. The customization and ability to really define basd on your playstyle is pretty awesome. Both games stand on their own; if you haven't played through the first, I highly recommend giving it a run tonight! It's only 1.99 and is highly worth it; buy some IAP and unlock the other heroes! Still one of the best games I've ever played... this one is just more of everything
Yeah man! Sunk hours upon hours in the first game! And yeah I'm in the beta. I love this game so far and does everything better than the first and I love it!!
Guys, is it too early to praise H&C 2 to the point that some people address it as a GOTY? It will make it look like the game is overrated.
Well, it's pretty obvious that this game is better than the first one, so it's automatically the game of the year.
I've been playing iOS games for a long time and I can say if this is not game of the year it's going to take a real gem to beat it.
Have u even tried out the game yet ? Those who praised this as GOTY (including me) is becuz we are beta testers , and we know the gameplay better than anyone .

It's not. I just have no idea where on my list it will land. I'm pretty confident about those four though.
God-of-war-type games are some of my least favourite, so it can't top those four on my list by default. But my issue with that game is that (according to it's trailer) a huge amount of assets are taken from Unity3D example projects, namely Angry bots. Non-original artwork always raises some orange flags for me, but I'm not going to judge that game solely on that. Perhaps it will turn out great.
Definitely some big contenders this year. Don't know the order but Crashlands death road to Canada wh deathwatch and obviously this is going to be up there. I'm just speculating Ofcourse. I think this is going to be the best year for moblie games yet.
