Don't get me wrong the game is very fun on steam and worth it, for me it's just how the developers come off is very off putting for me. I can't bring myself to pay once again when it's like the Devs don't actually care at all and are trying to just grab my money again
Definitely having to seriously consider if I even want to play this at all... Let's see if the devs fix the issues I think I need to see if they care more for supporting this version then they did the first
I never bought the original on iOS but based on these horror stories about the developer I can't in good conscience get this. I'll reward good developers like foursaken media and butterscotch who continue to support their apps
Another version of a game that was already released.... which is loot based but sells IAP currency to get the loot? Oh and the track record for support isn't the best? Am I the only just a little aggitated? Devils advocate: Bear in mind, when the game worked it was fun, and the steam version is good.
The devs treating Billy like that made me back off. I was tempted to purchase the game even though $9.99 seems like a bit too much but after reading that, no thanks. #
win i posted this in m'Lord Oldsnake's thread i had no Eyedea that it wuz m'LordShad0wz they handed the #end of the stick to after many tried to give advice on how to improve their game. i do remember it wuz either FB or Twitter that they gave a bad i really don't care about anything attitude to fans. That'z ? helped me feel comfortable that it wuz pulled and hopeing that they would not return to treat any1 else that way. Now they ar back & i still don't care to find the fun element it this version. Dev if you happen to visit this thread i think you could redeem yourself with an apology to those of us that faithfully supported you from day one. if not, one day your new fans will finnaly see the true nature of your actions. that'z juz my 7 centz
Never buying or playing any games from these guys ever again after they removed all the achievements on PC and wiped all the saves, replacing them with new achievements but basically invalidating all the work I put into my characters... Stuff like that just isn't acceptable a year or two after release. Screw these guys.
Ah yes, I remember when the game first came to the appstore. I quite liked it, put a bit of money into it, it got a few updates, I was happy. Then it started getting buggy and refused to even open at all and I waited for an update. Instead it got pulled from the appstore and they focused all their efforts on the PC version. And now they're bringing it BACK to iOS, but as a brand new app that's twice the price of what it was originally? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, how could you. Fool me three times, now you're just being that guy, and I'm not having any of it!
It's allright Billy. I appreciate that you share your thoughts and history of this dev. You're actually in my 'trusted user list' when it comes to gameplay impressions. ^^ Just like some other active users here like metalcasket
The game looks like it has tons of potential. Maybe the Devs have grown up a bit and realize not to push part of their base away. I'm going to follow and hope a lot of the bugs get dealt with. I don't mind $10 for a great game, but problems with iOS 9.2 push me to the side for now.

Do yourself a favor and dont visit their FB page. You'll be so damn pissed. They release a game which isnt even playable and charging $10 for it. I ensure you, they were just hitting the "export for iOS" button in Game Maker without doing some proper QA testing afterwards at all! I even doubt they own a single iOS device. Now they've responded to a guy with "what do you want us to do?" after he was complaining about the game not running on any of his devices, considering to get a refund. Well, maybe pull that fvcking mess off from the AppStore and stop ripping off people??
Actually I highly recommend going to read the developers responses on FB. They really do have an oh well what to you expect me to do attitude. I am curious to see if this game gets a fix but I wouldn't hold my breath
